The assassin's brows raised at her confession. Really? He couldn't fathom meaning so much to anyone. Glancing down at his hands he tried to think of a way to respond. He didn't know what to say at the best of times, but this really stumped him.
Or he could just just tell her the truth? It made his face heat just thinking about it. Well, here goes nothing.
"The reason I have to fight this assassin. The reason I have to end this is so I don't have to disappear." He didn't look at her as he spoke, but down at his hands. "I've been running for a long time and I've never had a reason to stop...Until now."
He glanced up at her, his white hair flopping into his eyes. "I'm not going to try and explain my feelings, I'm not good at that. But that's the truth."

Ashen looked back at Fallen, her eyes wide with Surprised and cheeks burning red. Was he trying to say he was saying because of her?! This made her heart skip, as well as sink low. if she wasn't in the picture, Fallen could run away from this assassin if he needed to. She felt guilty for wanting him to stay but she truly couldn't help it.
"i don't expect you to, but you are alot better then you think." ashen spoke softly, as her mind still buzzed with worry and guilt."what if you do disappear Fallen? how will i know? honestly im surprised you not running out of the door right now, or the window to your left..." she knew offering a room here wouldn't work. Fallen could barely stomach being around her, let alone other people.
she sighed as she looked up at him again. her tears had stopped slightly, a hint of pain on her face. she had to admit defeat she had no say in this and she hated even fibre of it. "will you come see me every few days...so i know your alive? that way, if i don't see you on the day you say i know something's wrong and i need to go find you?" she hoped he would be ok with that. or she would have to get really good at tracking someone who wished to remain hidden, and was good at it.

The drow sighed, finally swinging himself so he was sitting on the edge of the bed. Rolling his shoulder, he reached back to touch the scar where the arrow had hit him. He had taken an arrow to that shoulder before, and not inches away from the new scar was a second. "I won't lie, I'm not comfortable staying under a roof...or around people I don't know." Like that creature that was apparently still downstairs....
He stood then, running his hand along the one on his side before he turned to her. She was acting as if he intended to seclude himself, to continue on as the phantom he was. It may be a difficult habit to break but he intended to be around. "I won't go missing. If I do you'll know."
Glancing down at himself and then his armor the assassin suddenly felt very naked. "I assume my shirt is beyond repair."

"im not asking you to stay, im only asking for you to stop by so I know your ok." trying to make herself clear but leaving in fallens hands to choose. she watched fallen as he checked to make sure he was properly healed. she had no doubt she was, she was quite skilled at healing. as she watched, and the room being lit by the morning glow she could see all of his scars. her brow frowned slightly, thinking how unnecessary they must have been to receive. unintionally she held onto her right shoulder. feeling the wound that still had yet healed. however Fallens words snapped her back to reality quickly.
"oh ya your shirt, it was very damaged thanks to me. sorry about that." Ashen rose keeping her arms crossed as she walked to her dresser. before opening the dresser, she looked at fallen, trying to figure out if they where roughly the same size. returning to her dresser, she lowered herself to the lowest drawer opening it where nothing but black clothing showed. even old black armor meant for a child, it was badly damaged, rips and scuffs and stains, not from lack of care but from over use. a small Black mask that covered the lower half of the face matched the condition of the armor and accessories that where kept in the corner of the drawer.
after moving some slothing she finally pulled out a large black shirt, she held it up looking at fallen and the shirt to compare from afar. "think this will fit you. its two times to big on me, so it should fit. you can keep it and consider it even because I had to destroy your shirt to bandage you up." draping it over her arm she walked over to fallen, and held it out for him. completely forgetting to close her drawer. "I can do to Matsu's blacksmith shop, if you want fresh pants, and I can clean yours. you have been sweating most of the night." she pointed out still holding the shirt out for him to take.

As the kinto rummaged through her drawns, Fallens eyes couldn't seem to help following her hands. He wanted to frown at the peek of old armor in the drawer but kept it off his face. It looked like something he wore as a child. In fact the resemblance was startling. But as she stood, having found what she was searching for, he shoved the thoughts from his mind. He wouldn't pry.
"Hm, this should be fine." He plucked the garment carefully from her arm before pulling it thankfully over his head. It was a tad loose even on him, but not at all uncomfortable. His thin and lean stature certainly live up to a drow elf's legacy.
"The rest should be ok for today." He figured after the events of this day his clothes and armor would be in need of repair again anyway.
Without missing a beat he started to buckle on his armor. Coming to the piece that had been damaged by the blade and arrow he studied it for a moment. The repairs were much better than he could have ever managed. "Well done." He glanced up at her briefly before then buckling that on as well. Pulling on his gloves and his scarf were the last detail.
Despite how exhausted he still was it felt much better to have his armor on again. Even though he new nothing could ever happen under Ashen's roof he felt safer now. Old habits die hard he supposed. In fact this was one he'd probably never kick. He realized then that his weapons weren't at his back. "My knives?" He spoke immediately, the sense of unease coming back. They were something he never had more than a hand's reach away. Something that he'd had since he was a child.

"They are all downstairs with my weapons, I had to sharpen one, you had a scuffed blade. I didn't want you to lose anything so I placed them with mine. They are near the door in the cabinet beside Banshee, my bow, they cleaned properly as well snow tends to rust blades. I also refreshed your arrow supply, they where the darkest ones I could find." Ashen felt a little proud that he was happy with her repair. She was rather proud of it. Completely forgetting the drawer she moved around fallen, unintentional making no noises as she shifted around him.
She turned to face him, starting to check the repair she made. now that it was being worn by someone she could get a proper look. "The repair is working? It seems I be hiding up fine. I'll be honest your armor was tricky as hell." moving her hands across what-used to be the damaged. "It's not digging in or anything?" Keeping here eyes in the armor and repairs right until the end of her final question looking up slightly at him. The stinging from crying still bothering her eyes.
