"Halizar can use the white light....as for other half demons....I'm unsure. You'll just have to see." Crossing her arms she raised her brows. "After everything I've told you about channels you still want one? Very well...." From her side pocket she drew out the bearclaw, dangling it in front of the scout by the string.
"No one will suspect this."

He grabbed it and stared at it. "This... Of all things?" She scoffed. "You're kidding right. Nobody will suspect it but there is this thing called truth." She rolle her eyes and put it around her neck. "Fine, lets go." She knew if Ursa found out what the claw really was, she'd be dead. But Star was stronger now.

The Warlord just stared at the girl blankly, a slight smirk on her face. "It's not a channel, child." Stepping over to her, she plucked it off the scouts neck, pulling it over her head. "Not yet."
Taking a breath she stepped over to the well, standing over the grate herself. Clutching the necklace in both hands she opened her body to the power once more, chanting a spell in the old language she forced the object to take the power. Eyes shut, she concentrated for a moment as the direct connection to the power stream was created within the necklace.

Her hand went to the back of her neck. "Ouch.." She mumbled. Walking over to the door she waited for Des to finish with the spell. She leaned with a her shoulder against the frame of the door.

Opening her eyes when the spell was completed, the warlord tossed the necklace to the girl. "Stop being impatient. And now that you are mine you will address me as 'lord' since that is what I am to you now that you're my kin. I am your commander and warlord. Don't think I can't kill you because your a demon."
Stepping over to the stone shelf she picked up another stone, studied it for a moment before stepping to the center again and repeating the process. With a solemn look on her face, she then strung it and slipped it around her neck.
"I was weak because of your white lady's magic. But now that the well has restored my vigor I'm going to actually step into the fight."
Walking over to the side of the room she stood before her armor, wing suddenly disappearing in a shimmer of red light. Rather then reach for the grand set of plate armor, she picked up a different lighter set and began strapping it on; a leather breast and back plate, studded tassets, bracers and grieves. And as a final touch plucked the massive glaive from the wall, swinging it around her body in an expert fashion before it swung up to rest against her back, point down to the ground.
"You've only ever known me as an assassin." She was much more then that.

"Yes, My lord." She said without hesitation. She prefered callin her Des or Destael, but now that she was her Warlord she understood that now that is proper. "What kind of battle are you stepping into? There's a lot going on an if you can't step on temple ground without feeling any sort of weakness or pain then what?" She questioned.

"Ever since I escaped that underground prison I haven't been really well enough....strong enough to put up much of a fight." She walked past the scout, taking the torch off the wall once again and disappeared into the dark staircase. Expecting the scout to be following her she kept speaking. "Those idiots may want to think twice before attacking me now."
No more of that constant falling to weaklings attacks. No more constant protection from her allies. She would fight her own battles.

Star began follpwing Des up the stairs yet again. Nervous of running into more demons she thought if something, she wasn't sure if it would work but she questioned it. "De- I mean, My lord. How can I make the wings disappear like yours. I mean, if I look the same as when I got here..." She trailed off before she began to feel a bit weaker but still strong as she began losing the high from the well after each step they took.

The warlord snorted. "Usually any demon with power has the ability to shapeshift. It takes time to master. You just have to focus and train." As they continued up the stairs, a slight headache returned. Now that the power of the well was getting further away, the more aches and pains appeared. "I'll deal with any demons that we come across. They'd be asking for death if they confronted me while I'm armed though."

The moment Destael mentioned that she'll take care of them she felt a bit more safe but she never really felt safe since they got into the demon plane. "What if one of them is Halizar?"

The warlord laughed. "Of all the demons you should worry about Halizar isn't one of them. He's my friend and ally and he trusts my judgement." Although he might not be impressed in this particular decision....perhaps even offended. "He has more important things to worry about then one measly little girl from the human plane."
Finally at the top of the stairs they stepped out into the light of the still empty throne room. "Now..." The red demon paused, turning to the scout. "This is more then enough room. Fly."

Stqrfire walked into the room and as she entered she was told to... Fly? Her eyes went wide. "Fly? Here? Right now?" She was just gettig used to the feeling of having wings and horns. Nervously she concentrated. Her wings began to speed up and her feet were no longer touching the ground she stared at the floor, higher and higher see went about 9feet off the ground and her wings stopped. She fell to the ground with a thud. "Still learning.." She mumbled as she pushed herself up.

Taking a moment to sprawl out in her throne, she rested the massive weapon on her shoulder. "It's always harder when you stand still. Take a running start and when you lift off glide, feel how the air moves under them, how the slightest movement will change your course."
"Like anything it will take practice. It's unfortunate that I can't show you how." She used to miss flying....ache for the ability back. But after the centuries passed she'd gotten used to the ground. Except now, watching the girl test out the skill for the first time.....she felt a pang of loss.

Dusting herself off she nodded her head. She began to run and soon enough she was off the ground again. She circled around the room a couple times and slwoly landed. She tripped as she landed and hit the ground again. "Better?" She questioned turning her glance to Des who was in her throne. She stood up and sighed.

"I don't know?" The warlord smirked slightly. "Easier?" Before they left she wanted the scout to have at least a very basic idea of how to fly. Even though it wasn't very useful on the human plane, one could never know.
