Star hesitated to give an answer but she wanted to give up the human life, she wanted to forget her past and all her mistakes. Looking off to the side and back at Des the thoughts continued to process. "Fine. I'm yours." She looked down remembering times with her father and suprised Alex hadn't inturupted yet. She went along with it and nodded her head. "I'll let go, of everything... But one person, It's not the monk." She reasured. "It's a friend, she's been by my side since the beginning but I'm starting to lose hope with her." Slowly she reached out doe her arrows and stuck them in the quiver as she stood up and dusted herself off. "I can't kill her. Never have been able to. But other than that, I'll obey every command and kill anyone you say. That I can promise."

The demon snorted. The girl wasn't very inelegant. She should have just lied through her teeth, not even mentioning this little exception. "We'll see about that. That's the human part of you talking." Sighing she crossed her arms. "Fine. But from here on out you stick with me or you die. You're crossing into my territory and if you step one foot out of line you're going to be ripped to shreds, do you understand me?"
No human had set foot on the demon plane and lived. Even Halizar wasn't particularly a human. Even as the warlord, she was seriously bending the unspoken rules here.
Turning her back on the girl, she started walking. "There's a portal in a clearing near here. Which is fortunate since I can't open one myself. Follow." The portal which up until recently had been protected by a certain wolf. A wolf who was now long gone.

Star began following Des. "Wait, we have to go to your plane?" She questioned with a tint of fear in her voice. She hadn't heard stories about the Demon plane before only the bits that Des had told her. How the sky was red and that it was terrible. She followed close to Des trying not to get lose her at a certain turn. "You have my word." She mumbled before she hesitated to ask but did. "Should I load my bow..? Or give it to you?"

The demon continued walking and without turning around spoke. "There is no such power on this plane that can power that kind of ritual." She snorted a laugh. "You want to back out? I forgot to mention. The process is agony and isn't quick."
"Once we get there don't say a word and don't make eye contact with anyone. Be as nonthreatening as possible." She was well respected and feared. But there was no knowing the reaction that the demons they run into would have.

"I'm not backing out. And here. I should give you this then." She said as she held to bow and arrow's toward Des. Feeling a little scared handing over her weapons, she still did it. "How do I not be threatening? What would they do to me anyways?" Question after question she knew she was getting annoying but she was curious. She wanted to know but she was going to stop, after a few more. "What would be my weaknesses? Like I know yours is White light but since i'm only half what would mine be?" She stopped after that and stayed quiet.

Raising a brow, the demon allowed the scout to hand her the weapons but didn't speak a word in reply to the questions. They were coming up to the clearing now which seemed empty to an untrained yes, yet to the demon a distortion simmered in the very air, constantly moving. "Last chance. You step through this portal with me and you will either come out a demon or not at all."

She looked forward and then behind her, a chance to run, to keep her life, no, she wanted this. She looked at Des. "Lets do this." She braced herself for the worst and waited for further instructions.

The demon ran her tongue over a fang brows raised. "Very well." Grabbing the scouts wrist, she raised a hand, drawing energy through her channel she sent it towards the portal opening the connection to her home. "Here we go." Tugging the girl forward the demon leaped through the shimmering entryway.
This was always the part she hated, passing through the in between. It was dark and empty, an space stretching to eternity. Above their heads was the bright white light of the human plane illuminating the very air. Bellow, a red chasm opened, shimmering with tendrils of energy.
The demons red hair whipped upwards and caught in her horns as they fell through the abyss, glancing over at the girl to see how she was fairing. To someone who wasn't used to spending time in the air, the 30 second drop through darkness would probably be terrifying.
Finally in a bright flash, they passed through the second entry way which opened to about a ten foot drop onto the solid stone floor. The portal was still opened in the same place it had been last time she had used it. In the massive stone hall of her palace. Landing in a crouch she flared her wing which had been forced from hiding when they passed through the portal.
The hall they stood in was massive, built with grey and black stone and lit with the flickering light of many candles and torches. The curved ceiling, stories above them was bathed in shadow, too high for the light to reach properly. Pillars carved like bone curved up the ceiling, meeting up in the blackness. Far in the distance at the end of the hall was a door, seemingly small from where they were but actually massive when up close. At irregular intervals, different hallways the same as this one exited into the same candlelit darkness.
Breathing in, Des felt the power rush, repairing any lingering damage that the white barrier had done while she had still been in captivity. Flexing her hands which were now tipped with lethal claws she kept an eye out for demons. For now they appeared to be alone.

Star closed her eyes as she got tugged into the portal but open them as the light disapeared. Fear lingered in her chest but looking around it felt like something she had seen before, she was amazed, but still scared. The light of Wildgard had disapeared and nothing was left but Darkness and the two of them. As they entered the Demon plane Star landed on the ground with a thud, she groaned in pain but pushed herself up and looked around seeing nothing but the dim lit hall, she was amazed, still, she enjoyed exploring other place's but this one didn't seem right.
The demon still had a grip on her wrist but the nails began to scrap across her skin. She stayed quiet knowing if she made a smart ass remark she'd get in shit. The more she stayed quiet the less chance she was in danger. She looked up at Des to see her wing had returned, remembering the only and first time she saw it was when Thoror had knocked her down. She watched carefully noticing that everything about her changed, she looked healthy, better from when they were in Wildgard. "So, where abouts are we going from here?" She questioned quietly, being that she was still a little frightened.

"Be quiet and follow me." Letting go of the girls wrist, she folded her wing and set off down the hall, her bare feet padding softly on the stone. Originally the halls were built so large so one could fly rather quickly around the palace in an emergency. Unfortunately it also made travel on the ground rather slow. Turning a corner, the warlord started down another hall, similar to the first but with red curtains draped down the walls. Her color. "The passage underground is near the center of the palace. We're at the outer wall." Making a right down another hall, a soft red light filtered through windows large enough to leap from. Des motioned out the window for the scout to take a look. Perhaps now the girl would finally stop taking her plane for granted. The city surrounding the palace was full of jutting spires and towers, each building with a flat surface on the top and a staircase spiraling down into the dwelling. Since demons were creatures of flight there was usually no need to ground level entrances. The entire city was black and grey stone, some buildings even looked as if they had be sculpted out of it. Above them the sky was an endless, cloudless expanse of red, the sun burning a bright in the same shade. Where the city ended across an empty stone plane sharp mountains jutted into the sky. There was not a tree, not a single living thing out there other then more of her race. From here, the stone plains looked to be brown, but Des knew that it was blood. So many wars had been fought that the blood had rusted, coloring the sand and stone over centuries. A couple demons could be seen milling around the city, their mighty wingspans cutting through the hot and humid air as they traveled. "Welcome to my 'home'." Her voice was sarcastic. It didn't matter how many times the people of wildgard told her to go back 'home'. This would never really be her home. Yes, perhaps she ruled these lands. But did that mean she wanted to? Well....

Starfire rushed up and turned a corner afraid that she was going to lose Des. She rushed up to Des and noticed that she had stopped. As she continued she slowed down and looked out to notice a terrible scenery, her jaw dropped and a hand went up to cover it. "Des.. " She stared at it, she didn't know what to say, the sky and everything, it was as bad as she had said. She understood why Des prefered Wildgard over here now, why she helped clean up Wildgard. "I'm sorry." She shook her head and looked away. "It makes sense now. Why you helped keep Wildgard clean and why you like it there so much. You could do with out a few or all of the people but," She shrugged. "You can't really get rid of them... Unles, you get your army together and then you could probably take over..... I'm going to uh, stop talking." She turned away and walked slowly down the hall.

The warlord frowned. "Don't apologize. It is what it is. Had Halizar never summoned me I would never have known anything else existed." Turning away from the window, she started down the hall again counting on the girl to follow her. "And as for my army, I have thousands of demons at my command. What do you think they would do if I released them on your plane, hm? Yes, I could easily take over, your planes power can't easily contend with mine. But I know what the end result would be. A second plane, dead and destroyed, barren." She never wanted the destruction of the human plane. She just wanted those destroying it to be eliminated. If it was her doing that destroyed it in the end....she couldn't bare the thought. Making sure the scout with right behind her, she rounded another corner nearly running headlong into two demons. Both male and nearly a foot taller then her the heavily armored guards both drew weapons before they realized who they were standing before. Like most female demons, Des was actually quite small. "My lord!" The one who spoke dropped to a crouch, bowing, while the other only nodded, a slight look of disdain on his face. "We didn't realize you had returned. Perhaps you should be more careful walking the halls alone." His words matched his demeanor. This was the kind of attitude she had been dealing with ever since they had realized she was female. Glancing past her, his ice blue eyes fell on the scout, narrowing. "Or.....not quite alone." A deep growl rumbled in her chest, and nearly faster then the eye could comprehend her sword was drawn and at his throat. "First. You will speak to me with more respect. Second, If you do not bow I am going to paint this hall with your blood. Third, that girl is of no concern of yours, you will not look at her, you will not speak to her, you will not think about her. Do you understand." Her golden eyes flared as they flicked over to the other demon, still kneeling and staring at her with wide eyes. "That goes for you too." With a frown, the blue eyed demon dropped to his knees, bowing. "Yes, my lord. Apologies, my lord." "Good. Don't stand until I have disappeared from your sight." Sheathing her blade, she turned, grabbing the scout by the wrist and pulled her around the two demons, continuing down the hall.

Followin behind Des she continued to walk until they rounded the corner. Star stood still, frozen in place. Her eyes went wide as Des took out her sword. She stayed quiet and looked down at the ground, not making eye contact with anybody. She jolted forward as Des grabbed her wrist and began to move again, picking up her pace. "Ow, ow, nails." She said as Des' nails began digging into her skin again.

Without a word in reply, the demon let the scouts go, continuing walking at a brisk pace down the massive hall. With the sheer size of the palace, getting anywhere took a while. Now cautiously rounding another corner, she finally spoke. "Even if they work for you demons are never trustworthy. If they think they have anything to gain, they'll stab you in the back the first chance they get, remember that." She glanced back at the girl.
As they traveled deeper into the castle, the air got cooler which was refreshing next to the incredibly hot and humid air outside. Rounding another bend, they came to a massive room with an impossibly large set of intricately carved double doors. The two demons guarding the door both dropped to one knee as their piercing eyes fell on her. "My lord." They both spoke, nodding their heads before one piped in. "If you're looking for the lord Halizar he's not in the throne room at this moment. He's otherwise occupied with an undertaking of his own."
The red warlord rolled her eyes. "That's unfortunate but that's not the reason I'm here. Open the doors."
As the two guards moved to magically unlock the set of doors and pull them open they set their gazes suspiciously on the girl behind the warlord.
"Do tell Halizar I said hello if he hasn't returned before I've left." With those words she pulled the girl through the set of doors as they were again pulled shut behind them.
Of all of the grand and embellished rooms in the palace, this one blew them all away. It was massive, the ceiling so high it was near out of sight. Every arch and curve of the walls and balconies over hanging the room were carved with intricate designed and embezzled with glittering stones and gold metals. The floor itself was similar, with intricate designs inlayed into the stone. At one end of the room a large and grand throne sat upon a raised platform, carved to look like bone, it was draped with red velvet. As far as she knew, nothing so grand existed on the human plane which was still so far behind in architecture and masonry. Although, she supposed it was easier to build if one one could fly after all.
"The throne room." her words to the scout echoed across the massive expanse. "There are only a few secret entrances to the power well, the easiest one being through this room if you know where it is."

As soon as Des let go of her wrist she held her wrist and rubbed it. Entering the room her arms fell to her side as she stared up at ceiling that she could barely see, it was beautiful. "This is... Amazing, i've never seen anything like this before..." She spun around and stopped for a moment. "Wait, Halizar's here?" She questioned pointing down at the ground. "Never thought he'd keep the throne warm." Star said as she smirked.
