Sticks snap under my weight as I pass through the forest, my tail tucked between my legs and my head low with fear. Every bird, squirrel, or rabbit that moves makes me jump and I begin to see threats around every corner. My white fur shines through the green of the plants making me look out of place.
I have been wandering for a few weeks now with no destination in sight. The world looks more dangerous to me now that I am on my own.
A bird flies overhead and I tuck my small body under a bush to cower. Maybe I will just stay here Dor a little bit.

Ashen was walking threw the forest, continuing her rounds as she finished her patrol. the wind felt good on her skins, in the humid heat. stopping her steady walk, she turned her gaze slightly, while keeping her head face forward. looking at a slighty moving bush, she sniffed the air, and it smelt of dog.
"interesting" she spoke out loud adjusting her bow on her shoulder still looking at the bush.

Something stops beside the bush I am using as cover, something large. I hold my breath and try to stop my quivering in hopes of not being noticed. When the being spoke, I tuck myself into an even tighter ball, my tail reaching up to the underside of my muzzle.
*Don't move, don't move* I mentally scold myself. Not being used to being a wolf yet, I do not realize that my scent can give me away as easily as my bright fur. I rely heavily on eyesight and am under the juvenile impression that if I can't see you, you can't see me.

Turning her head slowly, she looked toward the bush. A smile crept on her face as she moved her bow more comfortably again.
"I don't hurt things unless they try to hurt me first, you can come out, I don't bite hard."
Turning to the bush now completely, she knelt lower. Holding her hand out, knowing full well she could smell animal of sorts.

I try my hand at pitiful growl, but being unaccustomed to the wolf vocals, it sounds more like a choking noise. Giving up on being scary, I reluctantly move forward to inspect the threat.
It appears to be a female and, using my nose, I smell an unfamiliar scent. Guaranteed, every scent is still unfamiliar to me, but I try to memorize this one for future reference. Feline? Human? Other? Maybe I'll figure it out in time.
I look up at the threat with my puppy eyes, using my best "don't hurt me" look. Keeping my tail tucked, I move out a bit farther from the bush and keep my body low and legs tight in case I need to spring away.

Ashen simply waited for the wolf to come out fully. "Come on, I won't hurt you." She spoke gently a smile creeping on her face as she always did when meeting someone knew. Knowing it was trying before to be intimidating she wanted it to come out at its own pace. Animals where creatures of habit after all.
"I won't do anything to harm you." She reassured.

I move out of the bus fully, but remain curled tightly in case I need to spring away. I make sure that my teeth are visible, but the snarl is half-hearted. I doubt I'd be able to bite even in defence. I look the threat over; she is deficiently taller than me, even than my human form. It appears our eyes are the same color, but hers have a different shape. I stand up a bit straighter as I look into them. Everything is so much different from my time as a human.
My snarl relaxes as my curiosity takes over.

"Well hello" ashen spoke softly.
"Nice to meet you wolf, im Ashen." Continuing to speak softly, slowly she reached just above the wolf head gently and consciously began to pet it.
"There there, I won't hurt you I don't intend to." ashen looked at the wolfs eyes noting it same shade as hers. She smiled softly.

I flinch away from the contact, unsure about its purpose. When it isn't painful, I relax a bit, but careful not to let my guard down. I try my hand at a growl, trying to convince myself more then Ashen that I was fierce.
A movement behind me startles me and I push my back into Ashen for defence as I whip around. Once I realized it was a squirrel, I start to think and realize what I had done. My eyes open wide with suprise and I slowly turn back with a shy look.

Ashen retracted her hand in slightly surprise to the wolfs growl. before she could say anything, she jumped to its sudden movement as it leaned against her to get away. Ashen moved one hand back to grab her dagger, only to look towards the brush, and see a squirrel jump from it and scamper off.
"well, that was interesting." Ashen sighed with a grin as she moved her hand off of her weapon, leaving it nested in its sheath. Looking down at the wolf, Ashen smiled to the wolfs shy expression. "looks like we scared off the scary squirrel. good job." she chuckled slightly, patting him on the head slightly.

My tongue rolls out and my tail gives a quick wag at the praise. I relax further, completely believing that I am in no danger. I look around the forest. So I found someone who doesn't want to kill me, but I still need to figure out what I am. My head hangs slightly in shame. I am a monster, and I don't even now what kind.
I stand up slowly and take a few steps away from Ashen, although not too many. Maybe if I stay close to her I'll learn a few things as well as not get lost among the trees. And having an armed guard helps too.

Ashen watched as the wolf stood "do you wish to take me somewhere? You smell of humans, do you live with some?"
Ashen stood and followed the canine, waiting for it to guide her.

Noticing she is following me, I look around to get some sort of barrings before walking off in a random direction, trying to look purposeful. Where would be the best place to learn what I am? I don't even know how I shifted into a wolf, nevermind how to shift back. How would I convey that to someone to learn what I am? I bet everyone sees me as a wolf and not the teenage girl that's hidden inside.
I sniff around a few trees, trying to look purposeful. If Ashen discovered I didn't know what I was doing she may not follow anymore and there goes my armed guard.
Every noise I hear makes my tail tuck subconsciously, but I keep moving forward to try and keep up the fierce attitude. Maybe if I walk for long enough I'll think of something or find a clue.

"not a very talkative one are you?" Ashen smiled as she continued to follow the pup. keeping her bow and bag slung on her shoulder as she kept close behind.
She wondered where the dog was taking her, and wondered if it actually knew where it was going.

'Time to play finally, I had begged daddy to play one game while he was doing grown up stuff. A game of hunter hehe I am the hunter and daddy the hunted.'
The Anarchist skipped carelessly through the forest trying to find his new found adoptive father, they were playing as simple game of hunter/hunted to appease his boredom. He hummed as he made his way clutching the rag decomposed dragon plush Ryo had bought earlier in the shops within his tiny hand. The forest wasn't scary for him, he faced platoons of guards and killed them all for pure entertainment. He kept skipping through the forest following whatever path suited him without any worried.
He kept following The path until he ran into people; a tall lavender haired women and a white wolf that seemed to be on some sort of convo. The Anarchist looked up at the both of them in sweet innocence, his happy 11 year old smile wide and his voice soft and adorable:
"Oh hello! Have you seen my daddy? We are playing a game!!!!"
