I whip around when I hear a voice. A growl escapes me as I tuck myself into Ashens legs, pushing back as I do. In my head I am screaming "protect me" but am frustrated when no human language comes out of my muzzle. I swear and turn my read back to Ashen and whimper persistly, my body quivering. I don't know if this new being means me harm.
I push back sharply, causing my body to become underfoot for Ashen as I push myself underneath her, crouch ro make myself smaller, and growl from between her ankles. I have a bad feeling about this being. But I feel the same about everthing.
