Cyndra watched as Jump disappeared into her PDA. The brunette was always fascinated by her friend's 'jumping' and was hopeful that she had figured out what was needed for the Temp Jumper to do the same. It appeared to have gone with the blonde, a promising sign. And as long it was physically connected to Jump in some way, it should stay with her in cyberspace. Her clothing and goggles did. Which Cyndra wondered about on occasion, considering she doubted that every article of the blonde's clothing was equipped with any device like the Temp Jumper... Perhaps they had just been Jump's for long enough that she had rubbed off on them in some way.....
Cyndra shook her head lightly, dismissing the train of thought. She didn't really need another situation to feel like she should figure out. Glancing down to her PDA, she saw that the little red light was on yet. Jump was still in her device. The brunette frowned. That… was not quite the way things were supposed to go. By now Jump should have had plenty of time to jump to Clanless' PDA.

It was after her third attempt to leave the PDA's niche of cyberspace, and the third time he goggles had flashed a similar error message, that Jump decided she had done all she could as far as testing. With a bit of a heavy heart, she turned back to the opposite wall of the niche and proceeded back into the physical world.
She couldn't be as showy as she would have liked, given the cargo she was carrying, but the tails of her coat allowed for a noticeable entrance nonetheless. As she remarerialized, she turned her head between Clanless and Maker, keeping a calm expression to display the lack of danger she was ever in. "The good news is that the Temp Jumper works to translate objects to code that can enter and exit cyberspace," she confirmed once her body had ceased pixelating. "The bad news is, it looks like the PDA is as far as it can take anything. The box was 'unauthorized information', apparently." Eyebrows mismatchingly cocked, she focused on the brunette. "Any idea on how to remedy that?"

The brunette nodded thoughtfully as her friend spoke. "Unauthorized...." she repeated quietly to herself, then spoke for the blondes to hear. "Perhaps all it need is a uh, a wireless connection to cyberspace itself. Uhm..." Cyndra looked around at the nearby counters, then her eyes lit up as she found what she wanted. She walked a few paces and dragged a box over to her side of the counter, then rummaged inside. "Ha!" she exclaimed, pulling out a small chip with a couple tiny wires attached, no bigger than the pad of her little finger. Whirling round to grin at the others, she held it up and said, "This ought to do it." She beckoned to Jump to give her the Temp Jumper. With a deft twist of her screwdriver, the craftswoman loosened then lifted the top piece to expose circuitry beneath. She poked at a couple razor thin wires, shifting them carefully to clear a small space for the chip. Placing it slowly, Cyndra started humming softly, letting herself tune out everything but what she was doing. In a moment, she had the chip connected in and put the top back.
She looked to Jump. "I think it will work properly now... Ready for another try?"

Idina could never in good conscience say that she was nearly as competent with the wires and parts that made up the technology as she was with the network connecting them. Though she did know a little, it wouldn't have been anywhere near enough to have entrusted this project to anyone but Maker. She watched, fascinated, as she added a small chip to the Temp Jumper: the speed and confidencd with which the brunette went about her work fully assured the smaller woman that she had bee the right person for the job.
"Absolutely!" she chirped when her friend addressed her. Taking the box again, she faced her and extended her free hand towards the PDA. By clenching the fist that was curled around the box, she and her cargo dissolved into the device once more.
After briefly checking to make sure she and the box had both arrived safely in the niche, Jump proceeded towards the exit, hand still extended. Everything in her hoped it would work this time, although she braced herself in anticipation of an impact...
She met none, however, and floated with ease from the relative quiet of the PDA into the cacophony of greater cyberspace. A huge grin on her face, the blonde allowed herself and the box to be swept along in the ever-flowing information travelling the network, giving a spin of joy. Once her initial celebration was over, however, she turned and pushed against the current to reach her destination. The barcode wall came into view ahead of her, and she all but leapt for it.

She nimbly jumped back into the physical world from Clanless' PDA, her package still secure under her arm. Beaming at Maker, she proudly announced, "It works! You genius, it works!"

Cyndra pumped her fist in the air and cheered. "Yesss!" Making an effort to appear more professional, she laced her fingers together and rested them just above her ponytail, still nearly bouncing with excitement. "That's, wow, that's awesome! Think of what you can do with this thing!! Well, you already have, I assume, thinking up the idea to ask me to try and create in the first place, but it actually works!" The brunette grinned widely. "It works."
