Idina snickered. "I am not going to 'never mind' that pun!" she assured. "Oh, I ought to remember that! Lila would get such a kick out of it!" Another giggle escaped her lips, then she took a deep breath and resumed a calm expression. "Well, in my opinion, you have made the right choice! Granted I do not know Ilea very well myself, but from what I do know, she would certainly be a good partner!"
A new thought crossed her mind. "Speaking of her, though... By any chance, last you saw her, was she wearing a band around her head with a couple of flowers?" She charmed every commission she made do the flowers would last several months, but she wasn't concerned for the flowers themselves; the blonde wanted to know if the deer had actually kept the headband.

"Pun? I don't think I've ever heard that word used so... gallantly." Aurelia looked up using only her eyes. Yes, she was an amazing partner, one she loved dearly. She would never let go of Ilea, ''till death do them part'
"Yes, yes of course. Quite indeed. She wore it to our wedding, even! It looked lovely with her hair down and her in a beautiful, white dress." Aurelia thought of that day. The last time she saw Ilea, she tried to shake the though away, both physically and mentally, but instead felt tears begin to well up in her eyes. She missed Ilea so much...

Surprised, the short girl brought a hand up to her mouth and held it there a few seconds. As blush coloured her cheeks, she curled the hand into a fist and grinned against it. It always made her happy when she saw her flowers being put to use!
"I made that band!" she declared, making a conscious effort to keep her shoulders down so her face wouldn't overheat. "She conmissioned it from me last summer; that was how we met! I am so happy to hear she..."
Idina paused. The aura emanating from Aurelia had changed; something akin to worry was coming off of her in waves. "Hey..." she said, her voice low. "You miss her, don do you not? I know it must be hard on you..." Her arms were up and her hands open and soft, but as she wasn't one for physical contact, she kept a little bit of distance between herself and the lady.

"I'm alright," Aurelia quickly brought her arm to her face and wiped away any tears before they fell. "Honestly, I'm fine. Thank you for the concern, however." Aurelia just couldn't shake the thought however, and continued to wipe away at her face. One hand, then other other as she alternated between the two to wipe away the forming tears. She turned away quickly. "Oh dear, don't look."

Oh, that was body language Idina knew well. She'd seen it a few times during her life - in particular when making a bouquet for someone to pay respects to a deceased relative or friend. But Ilea wasn't dead: Aurelia simply had a heartache. Despite having had many people cry in front of her, however, she had very little idea of how to help or react.
She could start by heeding the lady's words, for one. As such, the little Healer didn't try to put herself in front of Aurelia, and stayed where she'd left her. Thinking for a moment, she brought her hands up to her cloak; with a flick of her right wrist, all three clasps were freed from one another. She brought one side over behind her head so it was off of her shoulders, and held it out towards the lover. "Here. You can put on my cloak. I do not mind if you get anything on it, but if you would like, you can put it on and hide your face in it."

"Oh no, I'm fine. Thank you." Aurelia offered a weak smile as she tried to turn the offer of the kind woman's cloak. She reached a hand up to her face to continue to try and wipe any quickly forming tears now. They were coming much faster than before, and this time, they spilt over her eye lids and down her face.
She tried to keep a smile on her face all the way up until her tears overflowed. Her legs felt weak, and her knees buckled under her as she collapsed to the ground. She was in the middle of town, on her knees, crying. She knew what her father would say to this. He'd call her weak, useless, and stupid. Aurelia cringed at the thought. Her father was never the nicest man to walk on soil, but she still loved him because he was her father. Then the word love came back up and Aurelia thought of Ilea yet again, causing more tears to spill, and an ungodly noise to be emitted from her throat.

Without any time to think of her actions, the blonde Healer scurried up in front of Aurelia, crouching down to put herself at her level. She'd dealt with crying people at funerals she'd helped decorate, and she was working off of muscle memory from that, although she would have to change her speech patterns in this situation. She was glad to do so, as she never liked sugarcoating anything.
"Missus?" Idina cooed, her voice low enough to prevent eavesdropping but loud enough for the young woman to hear. "Missus, you will be alright. I know you miss your wife, and I must say, you are brave for revealing those feelings in public. Would you, however, prefer to go into the woods?" She hovered one hand, the hand with her ring, close to Aurelia's face, poised to cup it but restrained and waiting for permission. "We are both waiting for our woodland Kintu lovers, and I would be more than happy to wait with you!"

Aurelia sniffled and looked up. She'd very much like that, but she knew Ilea wouldn't be here for some time. Or at least that was her gut thought. She ended up knodding and getting up, before following the young blonde into the woods, hidden by the trees.
Aurelia looked around, and felt as though there were another presence there, but she always felt that way when she was in any forest. She grimaced, wiping her face dry and looked around.
"I love the woods, and I love most creatures that live inside it. However there are such vial creatures, ones who've attempted to kill and eat my dearest, that sometimes live in here." Aurelia paused, before gasping. She looked at Idina with sad eyes, and her mouth cupped. "What if... when we were separated..."

Once in the woods, Idina felt an outward tug on the corners of her lips and a downward tug on her eyelids. "This is my favourite place," she sighed, mostly to herself. They came to a clearing, and she rearranged her posture, putting focus back on her companion.
As Aurelia spoke, however... She could feel pinpricks of worry in her words, and something a little less poignant than fear was coming off of her in waves. "No..." the blonde muttered, but the lady gasped in the same moment, and it was likely she had gone unheard.
"Now you stop that!" she shouted, the smile she had borne earlier straightened. After a few moments of silence, the girl tried again. "...Pardon for that outburst, but I had to stop you from thinking that way. You were only getting yourself worked up with thoughts like that, and that is the last thing you need. Now," - here she began walking in a slow circle around the lady - "you probably know Ilea better than I, but from what I do know, she can handle herself alright. After all, she still has that weapon of hers, does she not? And besides, forest Kintu run faster than you or I, and they are very well used to finding their own ways. It is nice of you to be concerned for her, but I would save my fretting, if I were you."

"Save my fretting?" Aurelia felt a slight tinge of anger. "How dare you say such a thing! That is my wife, and I will not tolerate such things said as that! I love her dearly, ergo, I have the right to worry about her!" Aurelia took a few deep breaths. "Sorry," She muttered quickly, she hadn't meant to shout at the other woman, ever since she had given her such hospitality since she had arrived. That, and Ilea had given her a very good word.
"Although she can run fast, although she has that weapon of hers, I still worry. I will always worry. For if I don't worry, and then no good news is to arrive, then what?" Aurelia spun back around, her red puffy eyes staring into those of the short Idina's. Her height was close to Ilea's, and at the moment, Aurelia longed for one of her dear wife's kissed, or even a giggle. Perhaps even a hug. Anything.

She listened patiently, nodding where it was appropriate. Although she felt a twinge of anger for a moment - how did Aurelia think she was feeling, not knowing where her girlfriend was? - she wouldn't show it.
"I misspoke," she said when she found the leeway to do so. "I am not saying worrying for your wife is bad, or at least, that was not what I meant. Worrying for your wife is to be expected, healthy even! What I meant was that your worries should not get out of hand or consume you. Believe me, I have been working hard at making sure I do not fret too much over my Lila. It does get hard sometimes, I agree, but I do have a way of, ah, grounding myself, if you will." The blonde smiled up at her companion. "Would you like to try something? Consider it an act at humouring me if you must."

Lila. Aurelia liked that name, and she hoped to meet the lovely lady one day too. Ilea hadn't said much about her, seeing as she hadn't known her for very long before she had to disappear.
"What is it you'd like me to try?" Aurelia asked.

Idina's smile widened into an excited grin. After a respectful nod, she cast a glance at their surroundings. The biggest tree she could find was directly behind her. "I will ask you to come with me," she said. With that, she turned on her heels and strode over to the large tree - thankfully it wasn't a pine.
"I am already barefoot," she pointed out, "and that is what works the absolute best for this, I find, but so long as you have nothing on your hands, you might be able to keep your shoes. Which would you prefer to do?"

Aurelia looked at the tree, then at Idina, then at Idina's feet, then back to the tree. She had absolutely no idea what was going on, or why Idina brought her to this tree, let alone why she was barefoot in the forest. "I'll keep my shoes on," Aurelia replied, glancing up the large tree.
"You're not going to make me climb this, correct?" Aurelia asked.

Idina had to laugh at her question. "No, no, that is not what I want you to do at all! The idea of this exercise," she elaborated, "is to drain yourself of negative energy and tune yourself more with nature. Would you like me to demonstrate first, or should I guide you?"
