Carefully and not quite so quietfully, Aurelia made her way around Wildgard, looking for the one with the description her wife, Ilea, had given her. She was a middle height girl, with short, blonde hair. She usually wore a brown cloak, and was also a healer, like Aurelia. So far she had had no luck. She had seen many people, however not spoken to many. Which was out of the ordinary for someone like her.
When she was ready to retreat to the forest for the day, the flash of a brown cloak caught her eye. When Aurelia turned to see who it was, or if it was really who she was looking for, it was gone. She raced after it, in a quite unladylike fashion. People around her looked her way, but none bothered to follow her, or stop her.
Turning the next corner, Aurelia saw the brown cloak yet again drifting away from her. It seemed as though it bore no wearer, as it floated through the air. It soon stopped, and Aurelia saw the face of the person. She had the blond hair and the friendly face her wife had described. She seemed to be pulled along by someone, but Aurelia care not. She was supposed to find this girl.
Shortly after, the girl stopped running, and was now speaking to someone else. Aurelia took 4 long strides over to the girl and tapped her 3 times on the shoulder with some great force.

The middle of an idle chat with a friend is not typically when one expects to be tapped on the shoulder, and it certainly wasn't what the blonde had been prepared for, so when a series of taps shocked her shoulder, her spine stiffened and she choked on her words. She muttered an apology, mostly out of habit, before she relaxed her shoulders and turned her head to face the newcomer, expecting a friend to stand before her.
This certainly wasn't anyone she recognized. A tall, proud-looking woman was what greeted her. Hair done up, clothing up to par with those in town who had gold to give away freely. Despite her proud air, however, Idina sensed a calmer spirit beneath, one much like her own; perhaps this stranger was gifted in peaceful magic as well?
"Hello." She offered. "Might I help you?"

"Yes, you can actually." Aurelia replied quickly. "I'm here looking for my wife, she said to find you, Idina Doc. I presume that's who you are, seeing as you have the exact description she gave. Blonde hair, cute hair, nice physique, brown cloak. Quite appealing might I say so myself, but I'm taken, as are you, and that's socially unacceptable. However, if you are not Idina Doc, then please do disregard the following words as they only pertain to Idina Doc. You've met my young, darling of a kintu deer wife, Ilea? Yes, of course you have, she said so herself, and she isn't a liar. She said to find you, and that you'd know where she was. See, we were seperated after our wedding, and haven't seen each other since. She told me to flee to Wildgard, and that she'd meet me there, since she knew the way. However, the fail safe for me, seeing as this is a foreign place to me, was to find her friend, Idina, and ask her where she had gone. So, with that, Idina Doc, have you seen my wife, Ilea?" Aurelia took a breath, while keeping her chest and chin up, just as she had been taught as a child.

There were a few seconds after the end of Aurelia's words wherein a silence filled the space between the two Healers. Idina's head needed time to process what she'd just been told. Most of what she'd said had gone much too fast for her to understand completely, but a few details had stuck out.
She shook her head quickly. "Um... I am sorry, let me get a few things straight here." With a quick breath of her own, she continued. "Firstly, yes, I do know Ilea, but I had not known she had ties outside of Wildgard when I met her! How long have you two known one another?"

Aurelia was astounded at the response. It wasn't at all she was expecting. She was told this woman was extremely smart and well versed in healing magic, such as herself. After searching the woman's eyes to see if she would continue with something more intellectual, and not, Aurelia continued.
"Sometime late last fall. I found her freezing to death in the woods one frosty eve." Aurelia kept her nose and chest high up as she spoke, continuing to attempt to give off a snobbish feel to herself.

"The poor sweetheart!" Idina exclaimed, her voice sudden as though she hadn't meant to say that, yet soft and sympathetic. She had been worried for several as the winter had settled early in the land, as many of her friends would have been unfortunately dressed for the cold. Ilea had certainly been one of them...
"Well, thank you very much for finding her, then," she said as courteously as possible. The aura the stranger gave off was one of superiority, for sure, and the blonde felt as though anything less than honesty and politesse would not be tolerated. "I am certain she was well off in your care! As for your reason for finding me," she continued, "I am afraid I must disappoint you. I do not know where Ilea is. In fact, I only recently came back to this town myself, and I have yet to see many people that I know. I apologize, Missus."

Aurelia's whole body crumpled when the words has escaped Idina's mouth. She lost her entire feel for being proud, and immediately changed into a "wild manner"
"Ilea told me she'd be here. How rotten. Now I'm stuck here, with no connections. I miss her so..." Aurelia walked a little circle around herself, tapping her head. She wasn't quite sure at all what she was going to do now.
"Perhaps I should just head back into the woods, wait for her there." Aurelia stopped, looking at the person behind Idina. "Introduce me to your friend, would you?" She puffed her chest back up and pointed her chin upwards.

When Aurelia's mood shifted, the flower girl grounded herself further, trying to keep her conposure for the newcomer. "Now, Missus, it will be alright! Like you said, Ilea is not one to lie. I am certain she will be here in a matter of days."
But her conversational partner turned toward the forest. The blonde reached a hand out, hoping to stop her, but just as quickly as she had the first time, Aurelia turned again.
Her request had been meant to divert attention from her mood - Idina sensed this. Just as easily, she had sensed her friend had been wanting to leave the area for a little while, ever since the new young woman had arrived. She glanced over her shoulder, giving a subtle nod to the third party once they could see each other. Once they had begun leaving, she looked at the brunette again. "That was not truthfully a friend yet," she answered. "As I said, I have only been in town a few days, and I seem to have appeared here before the rest of my friends. Including my own lover, funnily enough." Idina shrugged, looking up at Aurelia. "So I am waiting out in town as well."

"Right!" Aurelia exclaimed. "Ilea had mentioned her friend Idina had a lover of her own. Similar in our own interests, hm?" Aurelia giggled.
Aurelia remembered that Idina's lady friend was also a kintu, with similar species to Ilea, however not the same.
Aurelia continued to try and give off her same, outgoing, snobbish feel, when really on the inside she felt lost, and was alone. She barely knew the woman she was speaking to, however thought she would make a lovely friend. They seemed similar in a manner, perhaps? Aurelia couldn't quite put her finger on it, but whatever it was between the two of them, it just seemed to click into place.

"'Similar' is certainly one way of putting it!" Idina agreed, laughing a little at the connection. Her cheeks, however, were tinged a light pink; had the young woman just mentioned Ilea counted her as a friend? What an honour!
Once those words had left her mouth, Aurelia returned to a proud, almost pompous attitude. To be completely honest, the blonde couldn't quite see how Ilea could be compatible with her - she seemed much too bubbly and humble to connect with the snobbish type - but the shoe certainly seemed to fit regardless! In any case, Idina could sense that this attitude was hardly more than an act, albeit one the newcomer knew well. She could sense a different aura underneath this air of Aurelia's; a difference in personality, and a similarity to herself in craft. She curled her right hand into a loose fist for a moment, exposing the ring on her finger that shone irredescently as though it had magic of its own.
"If you do not mind," she began, "I would like to know why this area interested you. I am certain there could be other places for you and your wife to go together; did anything in particular draw your attention here? Are you a fighter, perhaps?"

"Drew me here? Well as I said before, Ilea had told me to flee here, after our wedding was boycotted by some city folks. Kintu marrying a human, crazy, right?" Aurelia laughed. While some disliked kintu, Aurelia had adored them ever since she was a child. This was despite her family's nay-say about the species. Aurelia didn't care, she thought they were absolutely majestic and beautiful in regard.
"As for fighting, no. I'm not one for the front lines. I much prefer healing the wounded. Of course, if the time comes, there would be no hesitation to kill, right?" Aurelia had a glimmer in her eyes like no other. "Do you have a weapon of your own?"

Idina chuckled along with Aurelia's remark. "Crazy, perhaps, but certainly not bad! It is only prejudice that goes against it, sadly." She considered herself lucky to have been raised alongside young Kintu, so that she never grew wary of the species.
As the young woman went on, the blonde found herself watching her face. She was another Healer, just as she'd sensed. Fantastic! But the lady quickly shifted focus, and spoke of potentially killing... Idina was taken aback!
"Um!" Hesitation was thick in her voice. "Yes, I do. I have my uh, my dagger here." She shifted her arms under her cloak, revealing the weapon that rested in a sheath on her hip. "I named it, actually. Winter Rose. Although, I uh, I do not know how to properly use it, however. It is more for a feeling of security, honestly. I could not bear to shed blood!"

"Ah! My apologies. I did not want to make you uncomfortable. I had a childhood friend similar to you. Was learning to be a healer, both of us, I suppose, but was sick at the thought of shedding bled. I understand." Aurelia paused. She didn't quite like people who didn't believe in killing. It was a natural part of the human cycle, right?
Nonetheless, Aurelia couldn't get away from a weird aura that was pulling her to Idina. Was it attraction? Dear, of course not! Ilea was the only one in her eyes. Quickly, she tried to change the topic.
"So, your lover, does she climb trees like Ilea does?" Aurelia thought this topic brilliant, seeing as the first time she met Ilea, she was stuck in a tree freezing to death.

Her question prompted a deep inhale, followed by a laughter-tinged exhale from Idina. "No, she does not," she replied, shaking her head amusedly, "for which I am rather grateful. I trust Ilea has displayed that uncanny fondness of hers for trees. Have you been able to figure that out?"

"Figure it out? Not quite." Aurelia smiled. "We first met she was up in a tree. Freezing, as I had mentioned previously. She wasn't making much noise, but I did notice that a branch was shaking too for a simple bird to be shaking it. I investigated it, and there she was. She needed help down, the poor thing. After a few days of rest, she left my home and ran back into the woods. I went looking for her, having already fallen madly in love with a girl that I not only barely knew, but I had no idea if she liked me back. I invited her to stay longer, and after 3 months, I asked her to marry me. It was quite abrupt, she'll even say so herself, but it was because of my dreaded father. You see, about a year and a half ago, I was engaged to be married to a man I detested. He wasn't even my choice, it was a forced marriage, as what usually happens in my family. But I ran off, mainly because I have no desire to be with a man. My father told me to come back, promising that I could have a year to find a nice young gentleman to marry. In the past final months, he was starting to get more on my nerves about it, so I married the dear Ilea." Aurelia paused a second. "Hehe, dear... Get it? It's a... nevermind."
