"Allynn, Fallen, I will be fine really. I just need to rest a little more, and ill be able to go- and get- what I need" Ashen began to feel faintish again. Takeing a deep breath in, she began to dwell on Fallens words. 'Even I was smart enough to know when I needed help' the words nearly echoed in her mind, she knew he was right. a leader need to be strong for her people. if she wasn't strong, her people would fall. feeling the heat rise again, she sighed with defeat. "Allynn, the bowls are in the kitchen frist cupboard to your left, I think...ither that or right its kinda fuzzy right now. Fallen, down stairs is the Infermery, where I patched you up. there- is herbs- drying. I need the on- on the far right- hanging, from the ceiling. it needs to be brewed." as Ashen spook about brewing the herbs she pointed to a cooking pot already filled with melting snow on the cooking rack, she began to shiver again.
Ashen closed her eyes trying despritly not to focus on the pain on her shoulder. brow frowned, she tried to stay away, however the room was still spinning even the darkness of keeping her eyes closed was making her feel sick. something however struck her sensitive nose. her strong sense of smell picked up the faint smell of blood. it was very faint but enough for at least her to notice. she had picked it up when Allynn scent came closer and Fallen had moved away.
"Fallen...why- do i smell- blood on you?" Ashen only deemed her question foolish after she asked. he was an assassin, blood was a common smell on them. 'Stupid girl!' "Great that voice again" she cursed faintly not realising she had spoken aloud

Allynn blinked at her scale sister, her anger fading quickly to concern. She hadn't been here long enough to even know where the kitchen was. She was scared to ask the man, fallen she had called him, if he knew where it was. She chewed on the inside of cheek. Deciding that she would figure it out on her own she looked into ashens eyes.
"Thank you for finally allowing me to help." She smiled and stood, walking quickly to where she hoped the kitchen was.

Nodding, his expression barely changing from his concerned scowl, he had just turned to find the herbs she spoke about when her words stopped him. Back turned towards her he answered. "I was hunting. Buck."
Even though no one could see his expression he made sure that the surprise didn't show. Her nose truly was keen wasn't it. And while what he was said was true enough she didn't need to know the hit he had carried out earlier in the week, nor any hit he would carry out in the future.
With that, he briskly took the stairs down to find what she was talking about. Even at the quick pace, his steps made barely a whisper. He was like a ghost.
Red eyes easily seeing in the darkened room he quickly found the herbs before making his way back up the stairs.

Ashen looked around to make sure she was alone, once she was she covered her eyes with her forearm. she began fighting the urge to cry. She hated this, she felt useless. She could fell anger brewing inside her causing her shoulder began to hurt more. though the days Ashen discovered Fear, hatred and anger caused the never healing wound to hurt very painfully depending how much she felt. she began to fell slight gripping on her shoulder, as if someone was holding onto it for their life and her arm was on fire. she turned her head to peer at her shoulder. sure enough her fear was true, the Curse upon her was acting up again. black lines like snakes started to appear on her skin running down her right arm.
her eyes went wide, Allynn and Fallen couldn't Not see this, its was bad enough she was so weak she required help to begin with. 'They will find out, they will run. they always do, don't they? you should flee while you have the chance little pet... or you can make it so they never run away again...you could kill them...' the voice persuaded. Ashen sat up and held onto her forehead with her good arm eyes still wide. she could feel the sweat on her hand, which was pleasantly cool. Ashen felt enclosed, like the walls where closing in. she began to breath very heavily. she couldn't tell if she was shacking out of fear, or the chill any longer.she knew this was bad, of course she wasn't going to kill them but even so, the wicked curse flashed images of how it could be in her minds eyes.
"stop!" she hissed quietly 'control you breathing, its just the curse. keep it hidden, don't let them see it. you will be fine! don't think of what-ifs. calm yourself they will be back!' she scolded to herself. she paused, for a moment she stopped breathing as everything around her went silent. she heard fabric moving ever so slightly close by on the stairs. realising Fallen was coming up the stairs, she reached over and grabbed the furs, wrapped up the curse lines. she prayed she covered them all as she faced her back to the stairs. she would have to endure the uncomfortable heat for now. she closed her eyes, pretending she had fallen asleep she chanted to herself quietly "go away, please go away. they cant see you now."

Allynn had surprisingly managed to find the kitchen. she tore cupboards apart looking for the things Ashen needed. she was making a racket. she found the bowl finally and brought it back, placing the bowl beside her scale sister she placed a hand on Ashen's forehead hoping it would help to cool her fever for a moment. her ears picked up a slight sound coming form ashen but she couldnt tell what it was.

Moving quickly and with his normal silence, the drow set to work following the kinto's instructions on brewing the herbs. Keeping his head low and turned away from the other woman...Allyn...he finished his task and stood once more. Silhouetted by the fire, the assassin frowned as watched the two. His friend wasn't well. Even less so than she let on. He knew the life of deception, and he also knew what it was like to hide an injury. There was something wrong with her that she wasn't telling anyone.
Damn she was stubborn.....just as stubborn as he was useless in a situation that called for giving medical treatment to another person. He could not help her, a fact which he accepted. "I should go." His voice was even despite the situation. "I will only get in the way of someone who actually knows what they're doing." Turning slightly, he let the shadows of the room hide his face.

Ashen opened her eyes, sweat on her brow as she looked at fallen. He wanted to leave, and for some reason this struck her heart. It felt like her heart was slinking to her spine and stopped beating for a moment.
"Wait fallen!" She went to get up, she wanted to comfort him and talk,However when she relied on her strength it failed her. All of the force she used on her arms to lift her body gave way and she fell with a loud thud, hiting her chin on the cold stone. She hated this, she felt utterly pathetic. she fought tears that had begun to dangerous cradle her eyes. Rising back up she coughed. After her coughing fit she kept looking down toward the stone floor where she struck her chin.
"Fallen...please stay, I'm weakened right now. If my sister gets killed because of me I'll never forgive myself. I know it's not really your thing, and I'm asking a lot of you but please" ashen managed to lift herself up somewhat and looked toward fallen. Still keeping her head lower to avoid fallen seeing tears Beginning to form. Coughing once again, her throat felt like it was on fire, the tears she fought back finally escaped with her forceful, painful coughing. She truly hated feeling this way. She hated how pathetic she must look to them both. Damn her stubborn pride.
"Please stay, if I could ask...please I really want you here...I feel safe with you around..." She confessed, keeping her voice low. She tried not to sound as if she was trembling or pleading, but even a fool would know she was. As much as she loved her sisters company she wanted them both around.
Both made her feel safe, and happy. Ashen began to cough again, hard. To the point when she finished and looked at her hand, she saw dots of red. Closing her hand so no one would see, she looked down again fearing his answer."Please stay..."
The fur blanket still managing to cover her arm, however her neck was exposed. Two black lines of the curse was visible but slightly covered by her sweat ridden hair.

Allynn watched as Ashen tried to get up. she hesitated to help her, Ashen seemed to only have eyes for Fallen. perhaps she should not interfere. she didnt know, things were so confusing today. she watched as Ashen coughed, and saw her hide her hand. she was worried, every moment she sat here and watched her sister she became more and more worried. she looked at the shadow where fallen had dissapeared hoping and praying to herself that he would stay. she worried what would happen to Ashen if he left.

"Very well." Going against his instinct to stay in the shadows, hidden from eyes he didn't know, the drow moved forward to where his friend lay. He angled his head away from the small woman out of habit despite the fact that she'd already seen his features. He had thrown caution to the wind in the initial panic, something he very rarely did. He focused his red eyes on Ashen. The lines of the curse that flashed from under the blanket did not escape him, but he decided not to pry. "I will stay here if it will ease your mind."
"Do you know how to help her?" He spoke to Allyn then, yet still did not turn his face to her. "I am not a healer."

Ashen's worry and panic melted instantly, she looked up at him. his red eyes locking with her jade ones. she shouldn't help but smile at him, knowing full well this was beyond his comfort zone but was still willing to help her above all.
"it will... thank you Fallen." her words where weak but still she remained her smile. she would definitely have to make it up to him later. she had been working on a gift for him, perhaps it will have to be two gifts now.
Ashen let herself lay down one more on her back, making sure the furs covered her right arm and neck as she shifted, when she was finally comfortable she turned her attention to her scale sister. keeping her gaze on her "she cant really heal others, but she can help me. aside from Mama, she is one of the best Monks I know." as Ashen spook she raised her left hand, brushing some stray hair that was within Allynn's gaze. as she lowered her hand once more it had just occurred to her that both people she cared for deeply, where both very socially awkward.
"Allynn, thank you for steeling your nerves so Fallen can stay....I know you only like chosen company..." Ashen took in a few weak breaths as she spoke, it was getting harder to stay awake. "both of you are the same that way...as im sure you have discovered." She smiled at her sister, her gaze only interrupted when Ashen had a horrible coughing fit. desperately her covered her mouth with her arm as she coughed, she could feel something wet splashing on her arm as she coughed. as she finished, and wiped the foreign moister from her lips she looked at her arm. sure enough more blood, there was no way in the nine hells Allynn didn't see it. "great" Ashen muttered.
However something caught her eye about her blood that struck some fear in her. it was dark, very dark. if it wasn't for the crackling bonfire close by she would think it was black. moving her away as if almost afraid of the blood, she turned her head to look straight at Allynn, Even though Ashen was breathing heavily, Ashen remained calm but stern. she needed to handle the blood before she went into a frenzy. "sister... I need a cloth to rid me of the smell of my blood... I need one for my forehead... and I need the herbal tea that was brewed by Fallen, please." after telling Allynn what she needed, with her blood spotted arm she pointed to a cabinet behind Fallen. "there are medical... supplies in...here, rags, health potions, bandages, everything like that"
she couldn't help but begin to focus on the smell of the fresh blood now. turning away from her arm again she closed her eyes " if you could hurry sister, I would be grateful." Ashen tried to focus on other smells, aside from blood. trying to find Allynn's scent and Fallen's though Fallen's didn't help currently. instead she move the furs that covered her right arm and neck up more to smell them. perhaps that would do the trick. 'I truly hate my nose sometimes. now is definitely not a time to be getting bloodlust...please don't ask, please don't ask why im afraid of blood Fallen. I don't want to lie to you...' She chanted to herself in her mind, the only two who knew of her 'scent condition' was Mama Synaria, and Allynn.

Allynn Quickly bolted to where she knew there were cloths and carefully brought over the tea as well. "i am unsure where to find cold water though sister." she looked at fallen, "do you know by chance?"
this was frustrating, she did not know where things were and Ashen's friend did not know much either. she needed to get that blood away from ashen before things got out of hand. this was turning out to be a very lovely first day back to being alive.
