Story Plot: Fyf's birth caused a rift between their parents; the child had been born with gray ears and a tail. Their mother hadn't known their father had been Kinto, as he'd hidden it from the woman he loved out of fear of rejection. When Fyf was four and a second child with cat features came into the world, however, the mother decided she'd had enough, and she left her ex-husband to raise the children himself. Consumed by grief and regret, he neglected his eldest child often, and his youngest followed suit when she grew old enough to be able to hunt and fend for herself. Tired of living such a life, Fyf left the tiny house at the age of eleven and tried to make a life for themself elsewhere.
Fyf refused to hide their cat ears and tail, having seen what good lying about such a thing did for their father, and as a result, they faced several years of living as a vagrant and facing scorn from humans. At the age of 16, they met a raccoon Kinto by the name of Duncan who took them under his wing and introduced him to an underground Kintu gang known as The Pack. Though the group originally had peaceful and fairly quiet intentions, different leadership and ideals caused the group to evolve into something different over time; when Fyf reached their twenties, even the name had changed to The Horde. By the time Duncan and other Kintu Fyf cared about had been killed, they realized they were too deep into the mess to back out peacefully. As such, they did the only thing they could think of: they ran from the town the gang called home.
After a week of running, fuelled primarily by adrenaline and a fear of turning back, their running brought them to the city of Wildgard. They were taken in by the Dragon's Reach Fort, where they reside and recover. Fyf is thrilled to see that Kintu are respected in these lands, although many other things about the place put them on edge. They're beginning to feel, even, that Wildgard attracts danger much like what they've already experienced...
