It had been a rough few days, and ashen wasn’t ready to return home. Allynn didn’t return the quiver to the tree to show that it was safe at home. But the cold nights, where to much for Fallen. He shivered and Ashen did her best to keep him warm at night, having a fire demon inside you would figure it would be an easy feat; she was wrong.
She stood there, fist clenched as she stared at the door. Her old self, her assassin self wished for nothing more then to walk away, to keep up what she was doing. However the other self that called to her in the faintest voice, was her normal self. The scout side, the real Ashen;the one that everyone knew and the one who wanted Fallen to have a safe place to sleep, to rest and heal from all his wounds that only healed slightly.
She heard a slight shift behind her, standing behind her was crystal, and Fallen.
“Go on, if they are your family they will welcome you back.” Crystal encouraged after watching Ashen stand there for a moment. With a sigh she felt someone touch her shoulder. Looking back, Fallen looked at her with an encouraging look, knowing why she was hesitating. Turning her gaze back, she looked at the burned markings of the dragon imprinted on the door. “that’s not what im afraid of…” slowly she brought her clenched hand up, and knocked on the door; loud and firm. She wondered if anyone was home to actually answer her call, if anyone was still the Silver scale in her absence.
She knew she changed, she changed almost completely with no certainty of coming back; but did her ‘home’ change also? Grimacing behind her mask, her hood drawn to hide her face completely she waited for someone to answer ; they would see her first, and this is what she wanted. the only thing so far that gave Ashen away, would have been Fallen standing behind her.

Standing on his own, but ready to steady himself on either Ashen or Crystal's shoulder, the drow lowered his gaze to the ground. He was exhausted and in pain; but what hurt the most was the look he knew was on Ashen's face. She wasn't the same person she was before the winter. He was different, cold and hurt and it was all because of him. The world was on her shoulders and it showed. He worried about her on the travel home more than he worried about the fact that he couldn't use his hands, or the fact that for the first while he could barely speak.
He only hoped that the person she was would return, even if it would be slowly now that they were back...home. This was his home now wasn't it. For the longest time he had considered that place his home; that god forsaken town that hated him so much. But it was only the placed he had grown up. This was his home. And he was glad to be back.
"She's right. They're your family. They'll understand." He whispered the words, his voice raspy even a month later. He knew that his words wouldn't help. But he felt like he should say something.

Hearing a knock at the door, Melora gets up from her seat, placing a hand on her dagger as a safety precaution. It was late, and a member of the scale would not have knocked; for all she knew, this could be a trap. After reaching the door, Melora grabbed the handle and pulled it open. She had to take a step back when she saw who was there. It had felt like an eternity since they had been back here, and Melora had been starting to wonder if they would have returned at all. Of all the people she had thought of, Melora never expected that it would be Ashen standing there.
After her surprise wore off, Melora practically jumped forward and wrapped Ashen in a hug. She would probably get beat for it later, but it was worth it

He thought to himself. I wonder where Ashen and the Drow are.
Luxley stares out the window, holding a vial of a special acid, as he stood in his room right infront of his personal lab. He was working on another potion. A potion for regenerating a lost limb or something of the sorts. He hears a knock on the door then hears the door swing open. Curious, Luxley violent turns his body towards the door, forgetting that he is holding the acid in his paw. The acid flies on the the lab, melting various part and....... *KABOOM*
The explosion tears a hold out of his window wall and Luxley flies out through the hole.
"CCCCCCCCCCCCCCCRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA--" He screams as he flies into Ashen's tree, bounces off, and lands right beside the front door, face first with his feet in the air.
He gets up, back facing the door, brushes himself off just like every other time. "Well. That sucked"

When Melora Answered the door, and embraced her Ashen froze instantly. her arms firmly planted at her sides, letting her hood fall as Melora jumped to her and hugged her; revealing her one scared eye, and her left eye covered in a black strip of fabric. Slowly she turned her head back to crystal and Fallen. Crystal looked back with a smile. even with her mask on, Ashen was clearly concerned, not knowing why Melora was even so excited she was home.
slowly ashen hands went to Melora's sides, not knowing if she should return the embrace or push her away.
"uh... Greetings, Melora...im ba-' *KABOOM!* Ashen froze agian, eyes widening. within a second she pushed Melora slightly so she could draw her blade, now pointing her blade to the clump of smouldering flesh beside her. after a moment, she sighed and sheathed her blade. however keeping herself between the rabbit and the Drow. Watching the rabbit closely she crossed her arms.
"greetings, Luxley." Ashen turned and looked at fallen again, she was concerned, and already mentally at her limit with returning 'home'

Barely being able to see past Ashen as the door open, it didn't really come as a surprise when two arms were suddenly wrapped around her back in an embrace. Ashen was loved by all in the scale, she just had a hard time seeing that most of the time. As of now he still couldn't tell who it was hugging her though.
Staying quiet as he let their moment continue on, the sudden thunderous explosion caused him to flinch horribly. Nearly losing his already unsteady balance, he threw a bandage wrapped hand onto Ashen shoulder to catch himself. Taking a breath to calm his racing heart, his eyes fell on the singed rabbit at their feet. Typical...he though but didn't voice his opinion. This was Ashen's moment; the return to her family. Both of them knew he wasn't well but he didn't want to ruin this for her by drawing attention to the fact.

At the sudden explosion, Ashen pushed Melora back a little. Turning her head to see the cause, Melora saw a toasty rabbit laying on the ground, as well as a massive hole in the scale wall. Sighing, she turned back to face Ashen, but as she did, she noticed for the first time that Ashen was not alone. With Ashen blocking her view she could only see the top of the person's head, but there was only one person she knew with short white hair like that; only one that would be with Ashen that is. It looks like Ashen had been successful, but Melora wasn't yet sure if that was a good or bad thing. "Hello Fallen. It's good to see you." With that said, Melora stepped aside to allow the pair to come inside and get settled.

Luxley turns around when he hears a familar voice. He sees Ashen, Fallen and a unknown face. He stare a moment to investigate the unknown being then turns back to Ashen and Fallen. Ashen, battered and brused and missing an eye. Fallen, battered, brused, and really banged up to say the least.
Luxley opens his mouth to speak. *KABOOM* Once again another violent explosion occurs. He looks up at the hole in his room. "Ah...Crap..." He slowly turns his head back to Ashen "Heh... I'm gonna go take care of the hole and the potential fire that may or may not start or have started in my room." Luxley teleports away. Then reappears. "Oh and, welcome home." He fades away once more.
From his room, he yells "NOT MY POTION NOTES"

Ashen nearly jumped out of her skin, with the second explosion, it was then she noticed Fallens hand on her shoulder. for someone so paranoid, it was hard to feel the touch of someone to light. She turned to him instantly the fear from the second explosion vanishing as she saw to him. moving beside him to supporting him against her body, while crystal supported his other side.
"My apologizes for rushing introductions, he needs to get inside..." Before ashen got any reply she guided Fallen into the scale, into there 'home' if she could call it that still. slowly, and at his pace. Before setting him on one of the benches near the bonfire to rest. once he was down, Ashens eyes scanned for anything around the room that shouldn't be there.
she paused
straighten slightly. she had noticed the room wasnt quite the same, and by not quite, it was almost completely different. the house was...bigger, things where moved and more things made. the old wooden stairs where replaced with metal spirals, the railing decorated with dragons. even on the supports where slightly decorated where the metal touch the ceiling. turning slightly ashen was taken back, and off guard.
the place was well kept, the wood pile for the bonfire was stacked high and the flame behind her brilliant and strong. dishs clean, food in the cupboards, she could smell something brewing near the fire. it was if, nothing changed besides the house its self; causing Ashen's heart to ach.
'did jay really do this? did jay keep the house protected and alive? is this still my home?' Ashens mind buzzed with questions As crystal looked around in amazement. after aiding with fallen she was taken in by every detail of the house. she had never seen a guild house this grand besides the elder hall. "are they always this magnificent?! Ashen! Is this really your home?!" Crystal continued to looked around with a smile, Ashen still, trying to regain herself. "i...think so." Ashen nearly whimpered and spoke so softly only those close by would hear, as she continued to look around. a slight twinge of fear nudged at the back of her head.
crystal continued to inspect the house. "thick cobble walls with perfectly mixed mortar! heavy wooden supports along the wall and supporting the roof! i bet the basement is pure stone! this house was built to last wasn't it!" the little Human Healer looked at Ashen who eye finally looked at hers. "that was the plan..." Crystal clapped excitedly as she continued to look around.
she turned her gaze back to Fallen, at least he was safe now, from what she could tell. Safe, and warm endless supplies to aid him in getting better, it didn't matter her comfort any more, until he was back on his feet completely it would never matter.

Fallen nodded to Melora in greeting. It was strange, he thought bitterly, that only a few months ago he couldn't even remember what most people in the scale looked like. He hadn't at that point thought he'd see any of them again. It was almost surreal when Ashen helped him into the familiar building. He was home...finally...safe...
The emotions were almost overwhelming as Ashen helped him to the bench by the fireplace. Collapsing onto it, he let out a long and shaky breath before hunching over. Letting his head hang, and his now long hair cover his pained expression as he waited for the feeling of wanting to cry to pass. Ever since Rosynwood, he had a hard time keeping the calm and unchanging mask that he used to wear on his face. Most of his pride was gone anyway so he didn't care, but that wasn't the reason he tried to hide it. He didn't want to cause a scene for Ashen.
The Fallen that everyone knew was gone. As much as Ashen had changed, he had as well. The Fallen he was now didn't really care if everyone in the room saw his weakness. He didn't care if they saw the scars that could be glimpsed on his neck to trail down beneath his heavy scarf and cloths. He didn't even care if they saw him cry. He wasn't sure if it was a lingering thought from the winter or just his changed attitude. Down in the dark he 'couldn't' care. Because if he did they only had another way to hurt him.
"Sorry." He spoke, his voice a quiet rasp as he finally pulled himself together. "I'm ok."

Melora followed in after the three, and seeing Fallen settled on the bench, she turned to the third person she didn't know. She assumed it was a friend of Ashen's, or at least an acquaintance. Either way, she was obviously there for a good reason. "I don't believe I caught your name. I am Melora Shadowfang."

*CLANG**CLONK* Sounds come from the attic "SHIT MY GOD DAM BED IS ON FIRE" Luxley yells. *THUMP THUMP THUMP* He runs down the hall to the stairs down to the living room. As he lands on the first step down, he trips down the spiral stairs. "SHIT. FUCK. SHITS. FUCK. GOD SHIT." Luxley stops on the last step. "God dammit that hurt...." He gets up and, as usual, brushes himself off. "Alright. Everything is not on fire anymore.. Or frozen...... I hold no promises."
He turns towards the kitchen. "Oh, hi."

The healer turned and looked at melora, "oh! I'm sorry I'm Crystal! Im a healer from rosynwood, ashen hoped I could stay with her, and aid in healing fallen." She bowed "if I'm so bold, are you shadowfang?" Stopping she looked towards to noisy stairs. "Hi!" She responded. "Need healing?"
Ashen knelt in front of Fallen, placing her hand gently in his cheeks. Her thumbs rubbing his cheeks gently. Slowly letting her hand slow down to his shoulders down his arms and resting on his hands.
"Are you okay? You seem off...can I get you something-"
Suddenly Luxley fell down the stairs, causing ashen to look past fallen shoulder with a glare almost with blood lust, closing her eye as she sighed she looked back at fallen. "Need anything?" She asked calmly.
She hoped the herbs for good supplies, turning her head she saw a kettle, she wondered if fallen could stomach herbal tea.

As Ashen tried to console him, the drow shook his head slightly. His voice still just a whisper he spoke. "Being back feels surreal. I still wasn't sure if this was a dream until I stepped through the door." The honesty was unusual for him, particularly in front of so many people. But after the winter his new world view was to say what he meant in the moment in case he wouldn't get the chance to. "I'm glad...and exhausted."
He was able to ignore the thumping of the rabbit falling down the stairs but at the clatter of the twin axes hitting the floor he flinched. He turned slightly to look over his shoulder at the voice. Hadn't Wulfric died? Or was he alive? He couldn't remember, as the weeks previous to his capture were mostly just a foggy ancient memory. Never the less, he nodded to the man, his eyes tired. "Wulfic." He greeted, his voice a rasp.
