The pale and freckled face of a young lady creeps from under the hood of her ruby red cloak, she nervously brushes her fiery red hair out of her eyes as she turns to look behind her, making sure she has not been followed. The knowledge she seeks is for her alone, not to be shared with the soul whom hers belongs to. Lanora approached what she understood to be called The Dark Temple, as she drew closer she observed that this was no temple. It was only a door, with no walls or rooms or anything attached to it. Cautiously, she approached the door. She began to stretch out her arm to knock when the door swung wide open...inviting her in. She hurried in through the door, which shut firmly behind her. Looking around she saw a temple with Drow shrines and altars to worship the Lady Loath. It was rather dark, as far as dark temples are concerned at least and there stood rows of great pillars, draped with spiderweb cloths. Mesmerized, Lanora stumbled about, feeling minuscule among the grandeur of a building that didn't appear to exist only moments ago. ~Lanora Blazeguard

Raising her attention from the tome in which she was and buried herself in, she saw a girl come into her temple, red hair along with matching cape. Synaria had not had many visitors for a long time, even the presence of the girl being within the great hall with her was, strange; seeing how her servants where undead after all.
quietly she watched, completely still as the pale child began observe the décor and shrines of lady loath. 'at least this one has good taste, others look away...curious... not every day a new fly, gets stuck in my web...' As the Half Drows mind began to wonder, she closed the book she held in her one hand, disturbing the silence of the hall. the clap of dusty, bound pages echoed across the stone nearly deafening after the long drown out silence before it.
placing the book back on the shelf, Synaria turned to the direction of the freckled intruder. her Black dress swayed with her moments as did her long white hair, her corset decorated with with spider patterns along with the jewellery she wore. Hints of red could be seen, but only to be over shadowed black fabric. The low light in the room would make it for anyone with normal vision hard to see things far away, but for her eyes, her fathers gift of the drow, red, crimson eyes locked onto the new comer. "Hello, Welcome to the Dark Temple, One who has been Touched by Sin."
her voice was calm, smooth like spider's silk as she took slow steps toward the girl, coming into full light of the few candles that burned to illuminate the path. even the flame didn't dare to dance without the Mistresses permission in this place. bowing her head only slightly out of curtsy, she smiled warmly, despite the darkened features and atmosphere. "how can the Dark Mistress help you? Surly you have come here for a reason, or perhaps seeking sanctuary?"

Startled by the deafening slam of a book, Lanora whipped her head around toward the source of the noise. She squinted as a figure approached her, struggling to see by the dimly lit candle light. She took a few small steps forward as the dark figure emerged from the shadows and into the dim light. One look and she knew, the woman before her was a Drow. If not given away by her crimson eyes then by her arachnid apparel and decor. Any mere mortal would likely recoil in terror at the sight of this mysterious and dark woman. However, Lanora was no mere mortal... She studied this woman for a moment, realizing this must be the 'Dark Mistress' she had been intrigued with. "One who has been touched by sin? What exactly do you mean by that?" She asked, although almost positive she already knew the answer, and it wasn't one she liked. She locked eyes with the Dark Mistress, thinking about her answer. Why was she really here? Because she is so easily corrupt, against her will? Because she is trapped and cannot die? Because she seeks sanctuary, a place to belong? Perhaps this Dark Mistress knew those answers, but Lanora wasn't prepared to reveal anything just yet. "Who are you? And what is this place, this...temple?" She asked, pushing aside her real concerns to ask a question to which she did not care the answer. ~Lanora Blazeguard

Synaria tilt her head to the side, she recognized the fear that woman had. One who realized that even though her skin was white she was very much a drow, and she began to like this woman.
Wise enough to push past her comments, strong enough to stand before her and not run, interesting.
"I am, Synaria Obokvlos, or Highblood in your tongue."
taking a step forward, even the slight clicking of her heels echoed and danced in the darkness. Scurrying in the shadows began to move away as Synaria waved her hand, as if shooing something away. "my door doesn't just 'open' for anyone, only those who have been touched by sin or who have been consumed by it. it rejects the pure, a new addition i had added sense My daughter gave me this task. ever scene the cutlery of Wildgard and Angels began to take its toll on her." finally taking only a few more steps she close the gap between them. standing comfortably away, but close enough where she could be seen entirely; her eyes no longer giving a slight glow from the darkness. relieving her pale white skin, and red lipped smile.
raising her hand the light grew only slightly stronger to make the shadows dance and retreat, showing the new comer all she could see of her glorious home.
"as for were you are..." Synaria hand lowered slowly, willing the light to remain. "you are in the Dark Temple, a Place for the wicked, Shelter for the corrupt, Refuge for the lost and Home to the Dark."
Synaria paused for a moment, observing the womans soul, it was ...different to say the least.
"Now might i ask ;who are you? What is your tale? I hope you like tea..." Synaria Snapped her fingers and as she turned slightly to walk down the black carpeted walkway, movement could be heard a little distance away. Motioning for the woman to follow, she walked over to one of the many tables. Sitting down and crossing her legs, she leaned her body comfortably against the table, lightly resting her head on her open hand while inviting the scared little fly to sit across from her.

She followed Synaria to the table and sat down quietly. She looked down at her hands as she fiddled with them nervously. Despite all their fights she was so uncertain of herself when he wasn't around. Looking back up at the Dark Mistress, Lanora introduced herself, "My name is Lanora Blazeguard, I was supposed to be just passing through this place...But my...partner thought this place too interesting to leave right away. I'm very far from home, and i doubt at this rate I'll ever be likely to return." She sighed softly, "No wonder your door opened for me, despite all my efforts I am about as corrupt as they get. No matter how hard I try." Lanora spoke with melancholy and sadness, her body was closed off and protected, not from fear of Synaria or the Dark Temple around her, but from herself. ~Lanora Blazeguard

"My oh my, I see now why fates have Alined for you to be here...though it's not all that bad being corrupt, what most see as such is naturals ways of correcting a flaw, once you have accepted it, you can correct it to benefit yourself." Synaria gaze never left the girl in front of her, as a servant placed tea beside them along with the pot. The servant already placing cream and sugar to synaria desired tastes.
Once it was done, synaria only bowed her head slightly still keeping her full attention on the girl. She pondered for a moment. "That's quite a tale, and blaze guard...unique name ..." She smiled curiously
