Krayto wanders the bridge, watching the chunks of ice flow down the murky river. He has never seen such a sight, as he comes from far south, where the water is always smooth, the winter is wet and tropical, and snow is but a thing of fables. However, he has now suffered through the great winters of the North, and although the lizard can count this as an experience, it is not one he looks forward to should he stay in Wildgard any longer.
Spring is fast approaching, however, and with it, surely there are to be more people around. Winter in itself is its own villain, freezing the weak and reptilian and forcing even the strongest of snowmen to hide in their huts as they wait for biting winds and frozen water to die down to lush, swampy grass and a blue sky with light dots of clouds.
It is a sign that something new is to happen. It is a sign that nature is rebelling against itself, and in this sign, the Saurial searches for a sign of his own. One to call the people of this land to arms. One to welcome gladly with courage and cheer.
A sign that the night is to end at last.

Ryo saw Krayto by the bridge looking upon the running river, he remembered how he had fought the kintu with blithering rage and madness. His eyes gleamed the light red it always did, his hood upon his head he made his way towards him and placed a hand upon his shoulder:
"Quite a scenery isn't it my friend? The humming stars upon our heads, the soft chant of the river and how can we not forget the pale sky of an ending night yet early morning? It is yes indeed a beautiful art of nature itself."

Her feels a hand reach up and grab his shoulder, and he immediately reacts. At first, he is quick and violent, but then he realises who he is about to strike with the back of his hand, and he leans back before bowing.
"Mein kumpel," he greets, extending his claw. "I see the bier didn't do you any harm."
He turns around and looks back at the view, but motions for the demon to join him. To him, he feels a strange sense, as though he shouldn't be friendly with this type of person. After all, he is here to right wrongs and stop evils from spreading. But at this moment, Ryo seems just as civil as any other non-human, and on top of that, he cannot let himself be seen as a villain.
Not yet, at least. Not until there is a proper perspective between good and evil.
Remembering how Ryo was a few nights prior, Krayto tries his best to smirk, resulting in only stretching his mouth larger. "Sometimes I tend to forget just how mad a place this can be. Some of it is just too serene for all that befalls it. Es ist schade, nicht wahr?"

Ryo stood by Krayto looking in the opposite direction, the soft cold nibbling sensation of the wind brushed his cheeks as if a paint brush creating it's master piece. Ryo sighed:
"Not quite. I just thought I'd come for a walk around..night tends to sooth my mind...well assuming I don't lose it like last time..."

Krayto chuckles; a hearty roar that fills friends with joy and enemies with fear. "Yah, night tends to be a strange time. But it is nothing to feel shamed about."
He picks up a small rock from the ground and chucks it into the flowing river, watching it collapse through the thin, snowy ice. His eyes focus in as the piece of the earth falls through the water, drifting like the chunks of ice that follow after it before bobbing back up to the surface. As if angered, Krayto leans back, his hands still grasping the railing, and he yawns.
"I find myself enjoying these sights until I get bored," he groans.

Ryo chuckled softly as he levitated a rock from the ground and threw it into the water as well. He really enjoyed the use of his telekinetic abilities as a demon and wasn't too afraid to use them:
"Well with every endless night comes a dawning day my friend"
He looked as the sun slowly rose giving the sky a crimson skin of beauty

"And if that is not truth, then I care not about what is!" Krayto roars heartily as he pushes himself forwards, the railing creaking under his weight.
Yet all seems awfully still, quiet...perhaps even remote on this day. It is on these days that Krayto can hear himself think, and when he thinks, he realises that things aren't always as they seem. Ryo stands beside him, tranquil at best, but with darkness in his eyes. This demon that attacked him nights ago now looks so peaceful, and it makes Krayto wonder about him.
The Saurial spins around and leans his weight onto his right arm, which is covered by his red cloak. "So, demon Ryo, where are you from? And what exactly has brought you here?"

Ryo chuckled softly, naturally people were curious about where he was from, and how come he wasn't completely evil:
"I was born and partially raised in the Demon Plane. I was exiled due to the Elders having a closed mind...regarding my preferences in bed."

Krayto grumbles; a sign of aggravation towards a greater force at work. He often feels angry whenever people are shown to be or have been oppressed, but he never thought that he'd be sympathizing with a demon. To him, demons were always the harbingers of evil in all of its forms, not just singular ones like humans are. But if even demons face oppression, Krayto knows better than to let his preconceived ideas of them take over, and he leans in to listen more closely.
"Your people oppressed your sexual choice, and therefore oppressed you," he mutters, his words trailing. "So you were banished?"

"Stripped from my demon channel and exiled from the plane. The Demon Plane aren't too pleased regarding female demon Warlords let alone homosexuality."
He remembered the Grand Libra and it's horrifying scream of judgment, the Elders and the jury. He couldn't shake the feeling and chills upon his back, it was all but the past now but the wound still hurt deep down:
"My judgment has been of the most unfair one...back in the Demon Plane I had a lover..a young lad that I can never forget for I am filled with guilt..for I had lost control of my abilities and murdered him. The Elders refused to see the truth and exiled me for being in love..."
Ryo's eyes glew a soft purple and his lips were sewed shut. The purple softly glowing as he himself sobbed in anger but mostly in grief. His voice softly resonating around them as he spoke with his mind:
"Why would I ever kill the one person who knew how to calm me down...and then there was Wise...his human counter- part who doesn't like me the way I love him..."
Ryo suffered terribly from injustice and from a lack of love and attention. The years he spent in the human plane had been so long given the fact that he was lonely and grieving. Wise had been the only thing that brought peace to Ryo's suffering up to now and yet he couldn't get the same love he was hoping he'd get from Wise.

"I will admit," the Saurial grumbles, "I have not found myself the victim of circumstance. I was a hero among the people I freed. Prisoners, all of us, but never did I have to turn my back on those who would otherwise keep me safe for a betrayal or a breach of trust."
He let his hang over the bridge, looking at his reflection rush by in the running water. A face obscured by a dark bronze leather helm, only his weary yellow eyes and decaying canines jutting from its crevices. His armour is strewn across his large body, held together only by thin straps of leather and stitches of old thread. His shoulder hides beneath a red cloak, stained from the blood of slain enemies. He sees only the image of a hero who rose to the occasion to defend his people, and who now has only the rest of the world to save from its own impending doom.
"I, too, have my grievances. People who could not be saved when I wanted only for them to make it out alive. The oppressed living under a rule that even I couldn't stagger. To say that I understand your pain would be insensitive," he snarls as he turns, holding out his hand. "But to say that I will stop yours is a promise."

Ryo's eyes softly glew and finally went back to blood red as he took Krayto's hand. The kintu offered kindness and promise, something Ryo dearly needed after all his pain:
"Thank you Krayto...I'm glad to know I can count on you."

Krayto shakes Ryo's hand, unaware of how tightly he is gripping it; this part of social interaction always escapes him.
"I used to hate demons," he growls. "They are the bane of all that is good. I am glad that you show me that they can be just as normal as the oppressed people."
