"And I am Jean Crow, Humble Blacksmith and Member of the Eternal Flame." She said, holding out her hand to Ryo. "Pleasure." Jean disliked pleasantries. More often than not, it meant she had to make herself known to someone she had no information on, Because it was customary to introduce oneself first. Many troubles could come from this... Though she felt Wildgard was quite different from Healing Isles, and there were many Anthro races wandering around in mid day without a lick of caution. Maybe Cannith would be safer here after all... in a place where half-animals were as common as the commoners they shared the land with. Jean smiled at the thought. Her young Wolf sister would still stand out, even in a crowd of Wolf-kintu. She is Lime green after all....

Liliana spoke up. "I am also here to speak with some of the leaders to make sure the realm is ready to receive the honored guests. As well as pre buisness for Duke Argile. He is looking to sell some wares here in the north."

"My thanks and good will. I shall be back to do business again, of course."
Koningar smiled slightly as he bowed, his armour crackling slightly with his movements. Politely, he withdrew from the back rooms of the tavern, and carefully turned around. He moved slowly, carefully plotting where each hoof should land. The tavern was much too small for him of course, so navigating was very difficult. He'd already graciously paid for a few things he had knocked over and broken. He wanted to make sure that he stayed in good graces with the owner of the tavern, since they was no other decent places to trade. The other tavern in town wasn't exactly the most honourable place. Besides that, there was only a small smithy, and a few individuals that privately bought and sold with others they knew. Koningar did his best to stay out of social politics, but in a land like Wildgard, it was nearly impossible.
It was especially difficult for him since he didn't have much in the ways of variety in his hunts, unlike most others who made their living in this way. He had never hunted any creatures with hooves, and refused to no matter what. He used to specialize in poultry, given his talent with arching, but ever since reuniting with Valourie... He just couldn't release the arrow. So, he was down to hunting and trapping only small game.
Adjusting the bundle of empty snares on his shoulder, he started to head towards the exit, but paused when the colour combination of yellow and orange caught his attention. He recognized one of two people at the table. Though he had not spoken with Jean before, he knew her name and face, as he tried to memorize everyone in that way. One never knew when it would come in handy, since his primary occupation was still a messenger. What he knew was that he had been accepted into the Eternal Flame at nearly the same time, at this past Summer Trials. Something seemed different about her now. Something that made him somewhat nervous. But he just couldn't pin what it was.
The one standing at the table, Koningar was positive he'd seen before. 'Another demon, if I remember correctly...' However, the third individual he did not recognize. She had a faint glow to her, it was warm and welcoming. He forced himself to tear his eyes away. Staring would get him nowhere closer to figuring out who she was. However, when he looked away from the stranger, he accidentally made eye contact with Jean instead. Koningar casually lifted two fingers on his left hand in a polite wave, and bowed his head. Turning away, he placed his belongings on the floor, and stood at the bar. He hoped to figure out who the stranger was, but didn't want to crowd the table any more than it currently was. He kept an ear toward the table, wondering what a demon would want with a visitor from the south.

there was more going on in the room than Jean would like. she was surrounded by Strangers and left with no direct path to Solitude. She nodded and smiled as often as the conversation called for, but her attention was stolen away when she saw Koningar. A Centaur was a rare sight, but to run into the same Centaur in two different towns in the same year was a great coincidence. She's seen him once at summer Trials, the sight of the half-man half horse spun her head around... She saw him again delivering Letters up North in Healing Isles. And again here in Wildgard. His Business must take him far and wide. She was getting used to seeing him now. But she'd never spoken with him. Jean turned her attention back to her own table and shoveled down some more food.
The waitress cut some of the awkward silence when she returned with Liliana's food, Steaming and fresh, with a bottle of Wine. "Anything else for you m'dears?" She asked, And Jean smiled with a mouth full of food.

"No thank you so kindly." Liliana pulled a coin purse from her bag. She drew out out a half dozen coins and handed them to the waitress. "That should cover it aplenty and anything else the table may order this evening." Liliana noticed the centaur but looked away quickly as she was starving. She refilled her glass with wine and bowed her head in silence, placing her hands on her lap. She began to sing a quite song of her goddess. After several notes she looked up at her counterparts smiled and began to eat. "Oh my! Oh this is wonderful! Oh wow yes wonderful. I say it is always the strangest thing to find food of this delicacy in a place such as this." She stopped talking to take several more bites and said. "The Duchess would approve. She is a baker herself. Deserts mainly, but she is good in the kitchen." Liliana continued to eat and drink. She realized she was not talking much. "I am sorry, So um what are your plans Jean. What do you wish to achieve here in Wildgard?"

"Well.. I uh.. I'm looking for Work, mainly, I do Leather and Labor. I'm a Nomad so I don't suppose i'll be staying long..." She smiled over the rim of a large mug. "I don't tend to keep many goals. Goals keep you anchored in one place for too long. So my mother would say." She looked down at her Scroll and placed the mug down to pick it up. Turning it over and over, wishing to open it, but unsure if the contents should be read in such a public audience. She decided that she could wait. And that the Company she kept was of a greater importance at the moment.

"Well Argile will want to know if he can persuade you to settle down possibly. He likes to know he can count on others." Liliana realized the man was still standing at the table. "Perhaps we can walk and talk once we are finished here?"

Ryo was pulled out of his thoughts once more and blushed purple again:
"Yes! Of course, forgive me. If you would kindly meet me at the edge of the Forest we could take a nice walk and enjoy the sight?"
Ryo smiled shyly to show no signs of harm or danger despite his intimidating looks. A chance to meet the monarchs was golden, even diamond to offer his services to the monarchs of Rivermoor.

"Well perhaps not this evening. I am sleepy from my travels." She glanced at Jean. "Jean perhaps you should get some rest as well and we can talk tomorrow? Would that work for you? " She looked to Ryo. "Perhaps we can meet tomorrow afternoon? To talk of what you have to the Monarchy?"

Ryo bowed slightly:
"As you wish, tomorrow afternoon it shall be. Good night to the both of you and enjoy your stay at Wildgard."
Ryo turned heels and left further into the tavern to enjoy the rest of his night with a good drink n meal even perhaps some fresh company.

Jean finished off the last of her food and smiled, nodding to Liliana. "Yes, rest calls to me." She smiled, lightly pushing out her chair, though hesitant to get up. She glanced over to see if the Centaur had left... but he was still standing at the counter. "I'll be sure to find my little sister Julia. She'd love to hear some of your tales if you have any to tell. She collects them." Jean lifted her head once more to get another look at Ryo. She had spent too long in the Company of Ursarius, The Bears Distrust to anything impure had rubbed off on her. But she tried not to let any disrespect show. Her parents would be cross with her if she ever showed strangers Ill will. She bowed her head to him as he took his leave. Then Turned back to Liliana. "Forgive me Milady... I have a grave Issue to discuss. If you have a moment."

"Of course Jean. Do we need to speak in a more private setting?" Liliana could tell she needed to speak on the matter straight away. "Please allow me to help any way I can."

Jean was visibly distraught now, glad no one else had been paying attention. "I need to know when the Royal Party will be traveling here. Will they be here by the time the moon is next Full? Any accuracy would be appreciated." She kept her eyes on Liliana's and her hands gripping the side of the table tensely. She knew that if she were to disappear for a few days, too near to the Visit, that it would raise suspicion, and there was no way she could avoid the Full Moon... but she didn't want to say outright, what the problem was. When the time comes, she would shackle herself in the Smithy or the Catacombs underground and have her Sister and her Druid guard her whereabouts. but if she were to be expected anywhere on those 3 nights... Hiding her condition was sure to fail.

"Well the intent is for them to arrive mid month next month. Actually almost exactly to the day. If I am not mistaken I think they will be here on the new moon." Liliana thought it an odd question but thought it to be a local superstition or something. But knowing what she knows of the beasts in men she had other thoughts... perhaps the entire shire were were-cretures. She knew Genghis of the Eternal Flame was a werepuma so maybe it was more common here. "Is there something I should be concerned about? Is their safety an issue?" Liliana was slightly concerned now. What could actually happen? What kind of people live here that the core does not know of?
