Liliana the emissary from the south enters the Inn. She looks around for an empty table anywhere in the room. As cold as she is the room itself is much warmer than anywhere outside. She finds a nice table near a drafty window but it is well lit and she can start to feel her toes. She lays her cloak across the back of one of the sturdy chairs and places her bag on the seat of the chair. The Inn is not over crowded but seems busy enough. It reminds her of some of the taverns at home before many were destroyed. Last Summer was not good in the Duchy. And things are only just now getting back to normal. Oh it is so nice to not be in the saddle.
She scans the room looking for a barkeeper or any server she might spot. She for sure stands out in her dressings. Much fancier than most here in the Shire. But such is the life of the servants of the Duke and Duchess. She thinks back to home, remembering her daily duties and all that she has to do. This is a much needed vacation. Lost in thought, she is startled as she is asked what she would have?
"Oh um, A... I am not sure.... What do you recommend? Perhaps your finest meal, as long as it is not fish. I can not stand fish. Is it beef or pork, because that sounds lovely. And a nice glass of wine? And some water? I am rather parched from the road."
The server seems annoyed but nods and disappears to gather the items. Liliana goes back to her thought and waits for the meal or someone to introduce themselves. Some of the patrons seem to notice her, other are outright staring. But she pays them no heed and waits patiently.

Jean sighed, finishing up the last of a hard days work. There was still a few hours of daylight in the sky, plenty enough time to find a place to lock herself up for the night. Locking up the Armory behind her, she scanned the Horizon with a heavy heart. Worry stricken and paranoid, she head to the Tavern to meet with the Emissary. Jean dusted off the palms of her filthy hands on her Gambeson, hoping that she looked at least somewhat presentable.
She lightly placed the toe of her boot on the tavern door and applied a little heft, it swung open and the yellow light swam out into the Town Square for a moment, lighting the dead grass and mounds of half-melted snow. Jean walked in and let the door thump closed behind her. She Immediately noticed the emissary and squared her jaw, mustering up any courage she could to make her presence known. She cleared her throat and stepped up to the table.
"May I join you?" She asked, hesitantly. Gesturing to one of the empty chairs. Jean Crow carried nothing with her, and no Weapons, so she took up less room. She wore several layers of Beige, leathers and padded cloth, she would have looked rather neutral if it wasn't for the Bright orange and yellow tabbard peeking out from her open tailcoat. She had half a mind to add '...If you don't mind dining with a Werewolf' to her Sentence but bit her tongue, If she wanted to make it work in Wildgard, she'd have to tame the Wolf inside her. In doing that, she also kept her kid sister safe. Jean smiled at the emissary and waited patiently for her response.

"Jean, of course please have a seat. May I get you anything? I am not sure the food I ordered, but I know its not fish. Perhaps a drink? You look as though you have been working a good while." Liliana looked Jean up and down and smiled. She knew all to often the look of the over worked and under paid. She had been there herself, not too long ago.
AS not to offend or embarrass Jean, she said "I can understand hard work. I know labor. From sun up to sun down, for little enough to live on. Please let me get you a warm meal and whatever you prefer to drink." She knew Jean may still refuse, and said "My lieges would insist," and she whispers," And Besides they gave me enough coin to travel on that I could buy this inn."

Jean smiled, gently easing herself into the chair. Before she was completely settled she found herself facing yet another task... Accepting offers she knew she could hardly repay. The expression on her face was somewhere eternally stuck between kind, calm, worried and tortured. She hesitated visibly as Liliana spoke, weighing her options. It wasn't until she Insisted she had more than enough, that jean Considered what she could possibly want.
"Hard work, yes, Labor wherever I can find it... I was fortunate that there was need of an Apprentice Leather worker in the Armory... Um...." Jean scanned the room for something food-like that she could Order, something she knew the name of. "... I'll have whatever you're having." As the words passed her lips she became aware of how Pathetic she sounded. but tried to brush it off as indecision rather than lack of knowledge. Her Sister, Julia always ordered the food, She was far more Sociable and Street smart. She knew Everyone, and how to talk her way out of any situation... or so it seemed.

"Of course. As I said not sure what it is but I am hungry so I imagine it will be delicious." Liliana looked around for the server who had taken her order. They had been gone a fair while. Perhaps it was really fresh? "Jean do you know the servers here? Do they usually take time to get meals out? Perhaps I should go see if I can get them to hurry so we can eat? You look hungry as well."

Ryo stepped into the tavern his hood lowered and weapons upon his back. Since spring was upon them he started making good use of a bow he gotten until he could bestow his hands at the one Felicise left upon his death bed. The tavern felt calmer than usual, he could sense something different. Slowly his eyes scanned the room to his surprise a new face had shown itself on Wildgard lands, one that seemed to be of very high importance. A noble? Royalty?? Impossible, what would royalty be doing here? He was lost in his train of thoughts not even realizing he'd be staring at the stranger the whole time.

Before Jean can reply a server appears with her food. Liliana takes the plate and bowl and slides it across the table to Jean. Does the same with the water. She says to the server "Please bring us a second for me. And another water, and just bring the bottle of wine." She turns to jean as the server turns to gather more. "Please eat up before it gets cold. Mine will be here soon enough. And besides the wine will fill my belly for the moment." She smiled an innocent smile somewhat like a child. You begin to notice she is not just a human. Maybe its the lighting? Or perhaps the alcohol brings it out in her? But you notice she has a slight glow. Almost fey like? Oh that's it. That's it, that is what makes her seem so friendly and calming to others. You see it now as well her slightly pointed ears. Liliana takes another sip of her wine and leans back in her chair and pulls another scroll case from her bag. She opens it and pulls a rolled parchment from it. She does not unravel it. She slides it across the table to Jean. "You said you were expecting a letter from the south." Smurking at Jean knowing how much the letter from the Duke and Duchess means to her. "Please eat, and if you wish to keep the note private you may take it with you, it is yours. I know not what it says but I have spoke with your commander on its intent. I hope you will have an answer before I depart for home so that they may make preparations for their visit."

Jean hated the idea of calling attention to herself, She was a wallflower in every sense of the word. She got by in life living in the background... It was a lot easier to disappear when no one knew you were there.
"I'm not familiar with the wench here... er forgive me, I meant Waitress." Her lips curled a little as she hid an embarrassed smile. "I don't eat here Often. I take what is given to me, Or I hunt and prepare my own food..." Jean realized that the Full Moon was only a few weeks ago, and she relaxed when she realized she didn't have to rush. She could enjoy her meal and the Company of her comrade. She accepted the food from Liliana and stared for a long moment at it, clinging to decency. "Thank You." She said gratefully. Catching a glimpse of the otherworldy presence of the woman. Blinking away the allure.
Just then the doors swung open and yet another unfamiliar face walked in. Jean looked over and looked the man over from head to toe. finally determining she'd no reason to fear him, He was not here for her hide... at least not this time.... But he was staring. Jean's thoughts were now crowded with worry and fear. Who was he and what does he want...? 'Is he staring at me... or Liliana?'
Quickly, Jean swiped the Scroll and looked around the room before even considering to open it. She smiled excitedly, still giving her full attention to Liliana. and her words 'preparations for their visit', Jean wondered what the letter would be, she was never told. Would It be some sort of order? Perhaps a voucher, so she could collect some sort of funds. The possibilities were vast.

"Do you know him?" She glanced at the door. In a whisper. " Should we go?" Liliana was not sure what to think. Was he a threat? Was he a hunter? A soldier? "It is up to you my young dear. We can talk where ever you are comfortable." Liliana could see she had moved past the visitor and was focused on her. Much like a child would be infatuated with a new toy. "Please eat and we will talk. Unless you need to go?"

Ryo blushed a deep purple in shame do to his rude staring, he shyly walked towards the table then sighed:
"Forgive my rude stare, I was lost in thoughts to the fact that we have a new face among us."
Ryo's eyes gleamed blood red as he looked at the stranger:
"So who have we here?"

Setting down her utensils, she turned to acknowledge the man approaching. Slowly the smell of food left her nose and was left with a faint smell of sulfur. Her eyes fell upon the stranger and she met eyes with him. 'Who asks for a name without first leaving his own...' She thought. Again Jean wondered if he was talking to Liliana, or herself. She opened her mouth to speak, closing it again when she figured it would be wiser to let the emissary introduce herself. Instead Jean gripped the end of the table, trying not to visibly wrinkle her nose against the man's scent. Jean was Completely Human. And on nights like tonight when there was no full moon, she had to remind herself that the wolf could not control her.

Liliana rose from her chair and bowed. Rising she began to speak. "I am Liliana Nell. I am an emissary from the Core of Rivermoor. I come on behalf of Squire Duke Argile and Squire Duchess Jocelyn to announce the arrival of the monarchy in a months time." She glanced at Jean and back to the man. "And I do not believe I have met you here today?" Liliana looked him up and down and sat back in her chair. She knew one thing he was not a noble himself. First he was not offering his name like nobles do. And second she knew there were few in these parts.

Ryo placed a hand upon his chest n bowed lightly towards the noble:
"Ryo Lie Ren Gamkara sir. I am fairly new to these lands as well."
Ryo adjusted his second belt and his cloak. He was no noble but knew how to act in the presence of one.
"So the monarchy is to come here?"

Liliana looked around to see if her food was coming yet. She looked up at him and said. "Are you familiar with the Prince? The future Princes will be here as well. And several others. Rivermoors Prime Minister as well as a few others will be here with them. We can make sure you have time to speak with them if you like?"
