Jay turned to Xander speaking with him quickly "Please get us some mugs, ale and tea Xander then return. I'd like your opinion on this matter as it seems like Broton is in a joking mood" he said to the tall wizard before heading to the fire. At least there seemed to be one other sane person now. He was starting to get annoyed quickly. With everything that had happened these past few weeks, Idina dying, Wulfric dying, Lila going crazy and killing people whenever she could, and dealing with vampire angst, he hadn't slept a lot. "Enough, both of you, enough. Broton, as a member of the scale you will treat all members and guests with respect. Tivares as a guest in my mother's home you will treat the people living here with respect or you can leave. I will not have this chaos right now." He snapped.

Ashen remained high in the rafters, making sure she continued to be unseen and unheard. watching and waiting to see how her son and other acted when she wasn't around. letting her gaze move from each person as they spoke she remained quite as she listened and watched.

Lanora glared at Tivares as she walked over to the fire and sat down, warming her fingers and toes. "What is it this time? What did he ask you to do?" she grumbled, growing tired lately of dealing with his various antics. After Wulfric's death, though she barely knew him she had grown rather frustrated. She hated this land and had found no one worth sticking around for, but was forced to stay because of him. She resented him for this, resented his jokes and remarks about how she had no one but him. It reminded her of how useless she really was, and Wulfric had been the only one she had met in a long time who hadn't reminded her that it was her fault, her fault that she had ended up here. Stuck with him...

After coming back with the mugs and drinks, Xander asks "So, what exactly is going on here?"

"Going on? I walked into this place all dramatic and mopey and stuff, then this thing" Tivares replied, gesturing at Lanora, "This thing ruined it for me. Typical." Glaring at his companion, Tivares continued. " I want your group of wonderfully diverse people to kill me. Sounds simple, right dwarf?" The man smirked. " I dare you to show us all how simple it is for a big strong creature like you."

Broton lets out a big hearty laugh, "Oh lad, I'd show you how simple it is, but strength has nothing to do with death.... its more of a job of skill and flare..." he grins at Tivares as the passed memories of old "jobs" wash over him. He then looked over at Lanora and the previous thoughts leave his head, "Lass are you alright? You look a little cold.... is there anything we can do for you?" he gives her a smile as warm as the fire.

Jay sighed at the two men and rubbed his forehead. "As Tivares said he came and asked for death then Lanora came saying that she was looking for him. Tivares has still yet to tell us why he wants death though" Jay said to Xander before turning to the man mentioned. "Once again Tivares I'm going to ask you to watch your tongue. That is no way to talk to a lady and I once again suggest you watch your tone while speaking to one of the Scale members. If you don't you could just find yourself back out there in the storm" Jay warned. No matter how annoying he may find the dwarf sometimes, especially times like this, he refused to let anyone disrespect a Scale member.

Grumbling about terrible service, Tivares rose swiftly from his seat and marched over to the fireplace. Grabbing a thick cast iron frying pan, he turned to the dwarf and began to swing with all strength at his head.

Within a second of the newcomer grabbing the pan, Ashen drew her bow and readied an arrow within a blink of an eye. As he turned to Broton ashen drew the arrow back resting her thumb on her cheekbone. she could hear the string sing the song it always did as she readied her aim. up in the rafters if gave her a perfect vantage point.
As he brought his arm back, Ashen saw his intent to harm one of her whelps...and released her arrow. it whistled shortly threw the air only to collide with Tivares' head with a dull, wet thud. she remained still as she watched tivares remain still. the arrow jetting from his skull. her eyes shifted to Broton for a moment then to the others in the room as she remained still. her hand itching to grab another arrow.
"no one...attacks my people..." ashen growled.

Tivares felt a sharp pain in his head, which he recognised as being very similar to the feeling you experience when you get shot with an arrow. "Finally" he gurgled before falling down to the floor, dead.

Xander winces as the man hits the floor. "I'm still sort of confused, but it probably doesn't matter now he's dead. Since I assume we don't want to leave him here, and he wanted to die permanently, I'm guessing we should get him or of here and burn the body.

"Just wait a moment, you'll see" Lanora objected as she glared at her lifeless companion who laid in a heap on the floor, arrow protruding from his skull. She scowled at Tiveres, irritated by his constant desire to unhinge everyone and everything around him, including herself.

Ashen remained still on the rafters only moving the sling her bow over her shoulders. Leaning back against the wall she remained silent as she watched. She hoped jay would know what to do. This was his last test...

Tivares felt the oh so familiar sensation of his body's atomic makeup restoring itself, a unsurprisingly painful experience. The arrow embedded in his head slipped out as he became, once again a perfectly healthy living being. He stood up slowly, looking at the archer with a glint in his crimson eyes. "Oh, it's you." He said. "The smelling one." Stretching his body, which always got a bit stiff after regenerating, he turned around and looked at Jay. "I'm sure you understand my predicament now, young one." His voice changed, losing its cruel edge and gaining a hint of desperation. "I'm tired of this world. I'm tired of the same goddamn events, century after century." He slammed his fist down on a table." I've been denied that what is rightfully mine for longer than you can imagine. Please, I just want to... to die." He pleaded, his voice breaking with emotion.

Leaning against the wall Broton, puts away his knife and just strokes his beard as he watches Tivares come back to life, "Hmmmmm it's been a long time since I saw that trick....."
Watching Tivares become all emotional, just goes over his head.... "Well lad that is a nifty trick you got there, but if you want help your going to have to pay for your death "right". So what do you got to pay with?", as he talk he makes his way to the table snatching up his mug. "Also lad, this is a place of respect, don't be losing it all over this place, you almost spilled my drink!" He takes a long pull as he eyes Tivares and the raises his mug to him with a smile.
