Also note the real letter is handed to her, unopened. What she does with the letter is up to her. If anyone chooses to loot it, it would be after she has read the letter, ask her if that is acceptable.
Greetings Aera,
As I am currently unsure of you, I cannot bring myself to give you a proper greeting, for this I am sorry. Do not take my departure from Wildgard as me fleeing, many in Wildgard come to know I come and go. When I was in your shoes if I was not seen, I was in the forest. It makes a great place to sit and listen to what is going on among Wildgard. See from this I have learned of my good friend Wulfrics triumphs. I know you do not wish to hear of his name, however much like a wound it is better to have it cleaned out than for it to become infected and scab over. As I was saying, his first triumph was due to a horrible overlord, his brother happened to join, unfortunately on the opposing side. I am unsure what happened to his brother, however the mad lord Ulric did parish, this was from Wulfric joining factions that hated each other. This being a feat unheard of, let alone the Monk known as Idea the long winded, actually bit her tongue and allowed him to finish his speech, another thing unheard of in Wildgard. Not only that, but he defied his leader, Lady Katrina in my honor. See I was not so unlike you, as I mentioned I was once a vampire, well I didn’t know I was actually a human with vampiric abilities. However from this I was very much hated, untrusted, it did not matter if I did evil or if I did good deeds. Wulfric and his group the GreyHawks were tasked with my death. I admit, I was rather crazy however randomly coming to existence, with no help, no memories just nothing to go off of, it would drive anyone made. I was never killed, Wulfric could not comply and you know how he was about loyalty. You also were aware of his greatest enemy being an Elder vampire, and because of this and other reasons, him being a lycan for one, I will never forget that and will always be greatly thankful. So the second triumph was gathering those same factions and more and lead a revolution against Lady Katrina.
I do not know how to take his death, Wulfric and I didn’t always see eye to eye, however at the same time understood each other incredibly well. Perhaps we were siblings in another life, more than 3 centuries ago. However I have become incredibly insulted by you, I am in fact your elder. I may not be a vampire elder however being 300 years old I have seen things, I know things and I have been through things that nobody should ever have gone through. However you dismissed my counsel, whether or not you are able to admit this but from dismissing my counsel you have blood on your hands. I tried hard for you to understand the ramifications of you not feeding consistently. I even thought of a way that would be fitting with your previous alignment. Child right now you are far from an alignment of a monk, you only have slight monk abilities at this point. Your alignment, whether you want it to be true or not is Purgatory, the realm of the dead and undead. You are under the same alignment as Wulfrics long time enemy. I am greatly sorry for coming off harsh however I didn’t think I would have to be so incredibly blunt. Over the years Wulfric softened, after I received my memories, so have I however I have not turned my back on good advice.
You are a vampire, you monk training is worthless. Your focus and concentration mean nothing now. Your instinct is primal, your instinct is what drives you. Even with just vampiric abilities I knew this. Again I am greatly sorry for being so blunt however I do not know what to say to get it through to you. Especially now you are hanging out with that Denver creature. If I could be back to a vampire for one day I would teach you a lesson. However I would not become a vampire again, I never want to be a vampire again. Even if I was mainly a human with the abilities. Because you lose yourself, you lose who you are. I have seen vampire sirelings come and go and you are in fact only a grunt on the totem pole. That is all you will ever be to Denver and the one you are sired to. No monk I have ever met would want that, unless it is true what Ashen said that you want power. I hope for Wulfrics sake you are only being controlled.
So between grieving my good friends death and being deeply insulted by you, I am going back to my village. I will take counsel with my fellow healers as well as the monks in the villages monastery to seek out advice. Because I do feel badly for you, before I was turned I was under someone’s control, however I obeyed due to my heart being too kind and I feared for my well-being. You on the other hand, the last I heard you were given the cure. I hope to all that is holy, and the monastery you studied at, that you drank the cure and are free from the vampirism. If you are cured, I will grant you access to the monastery in my village. I know they would welcome you with open arms, they will understand any transgressions you have made were not of your control, and they will help you get back to who you lost, who you once were. However if you threw away the vial, you have no place among my village and you will be destroyed before you step foot near the gates. I hope you made the right choice. Keep in mind I will be visiting again, when I have gotten over my grief. I will await your response, be warned depending on your response I may be very upset the next time we meet.
