Anyone walking through the garden this morning wouldn't see much out of the ordinary, but if they were paying enough attention, they would notice plants perking up I'm a row, as if someone following someone walking along. If you had good enough ears, you might hear some disgruntled groaning from the same area.

Idina had been flitting, as she called it, between the Church's garden and the Scale's recently; although she had been the one to design the former, she could only take so much of the Minister's presence. It was always nice to surround oneself in plant life, and as one might expect, flowers were her favourite.
As she stepped through the garden, however, something peculiar caught her eye. Crouching low to the ground, she could swear she saw a row of violets stand up straighter, one after the other. Curious, she continued to watch the blooms, unsure of whether to react or not.

Still blended, tinkerbilly started jogging away from the tall stranger. "Go away, my head hurts! Why does it hurt?"

Idina jumped in surprise. The voice was disconnected, not coming from any source she could see, and it wasn't one she recognized. Even so, after taking a moment to consider the words spoken, she straightened and focused, eyes wide.
"I might be able to help!" she offered. "I could heal your head, I think! Just let me know where you are!"

"Really?" Tinkerbilly asks as he unblends himself. "You can make my head feel better?" He starts flying towards Idina, but about half way there, he holds his head and starts falling.

The welcoming grin she wore morphed into a look of shock when the tiny creature began falling. Acting quickly, she thrust her hands out to catch him before he reached the ground. "My goodness, what happened?" she asked, holding him in front of her at eye level.

Tinkerbilly looked up from her hands with a pained but grateful expression. "I woke up this morning and my head hurt." He replied, shielding his eyes from the morning sun.

Her eyebrows knitted together, completing her compassionate yet confused expression. She gave a pensive hum before offering: "Do you know what caused it? Maybe you hit your head while sleeping? Did you eat anything odd yesterday?" As she spoke, she wandered across the garden to an area what was more protected from the sun. Whatever caused the headache, shade would be better for the little guy.

Tinkerbilly thinks for a bit before replying with, "I was having fun playing tricks on people, I didn't hit my head, but lots of people gave me treats so that I would stop my tricks."

Ah, yes. She'd heard a bit about pixies in the town the previous day, but she had stayed behind closed doors and had thus missed their antics. "Got up to a bit of trouble yesterday, then?" she laughed, her question more like a statement. "Who gave you the treats?"

"Hmmm, there was a cookie from a short guy, some really sweet brown stuff from the people in the shop, they also gave me some yucky stuff that looked like water. Then the elf that was really a dwarf gave me some honey mead. I really like honey mead. I drank a lot of it, and the other pixies liked it too. I had some apples from around the silver scale, and ashen gave me some ale as well." He cringes as a bird flies by overhead. "Are any of those bad? Maybe it was the yucky clear stuff."

The more she listened to the pixie's list of treats, the more Idina had to fight to keep herself from laughing; a loud guffaw would be rude for a few reasons right now. Her lips were curling into a large smile, however.
"Anything from the, ah, 'people in the shop' might have done it, yes," she commented. "Although I think the mead and ale did most of it." Her expression grew more serious, but a smile was still twitching at the corners of her lips. "Drinking a lot of that sort of thing one day leads to a lot of headaches the next." She knew that short people like her were easier to get drunk on less than taller people, and she stifled a giggle at the thought of a pixie that came up to her knee trying to drink the stuff Drogo liked. "What you need is water and rest. And a lot of quiet. Do you think you could manage that?"

"Of course I can!" Tinkerbilly snarls in a voice unlike his own, his skin flashing a pale green. Then, clutching his head, he falls to the ground, wailing. Why did his head hurt so much? Maybe he should have gone to sleep for the cold weather like he usually did. "Nononononoooo!" Tinkerbilly curls up into a ball and starts crying.

Idina placed her hands on her lap so he would have more room to lie down and cradle his poor head. In an attempt to comfort him, she shielded him even more from the sunlight with her cloak. "As I said, you need water and quiet," she murmured, emphasizing the final word of the phrase. "Should I find you someplace to lie down?"
