Shadow walker sat quietly, always watching always waiting for something to happen. The shrine was ever silent save for that little bell ringing in the wind. Only feet from that little bell white hair blew in the wind as well. The white hair of the one ShadowWalker nicknamed Bathly.
On this plain Shadow feared very little. To rid the land of her they would have to kill everything, and anything that cast a shadow so this made her life very secure indeed. Not even warlords frightened her here. What a feeling to be secure in ones own skin, back home her kind were seen as nothing but trash, useless weak females. Here. kekeke. She might as well be what they call a God. Sure they could kill her, but then she would return. Why then was Bathly lying there motionless? Was his body not as secure on this plain? She had already transfer lifed his disembodied head once and brought him back so then why was he laying there? She wondered as her black eyes flickered with enjoyment. He had cause a good amount of chaos which she found amusing but then he died again which she found dull.
"wakey wakey Big shot" she hissed from behind the ever ringing bell. "why are you taking such a long nap, don't tell me you're weak without your wells and channels?" The shadow demon snickered as the bard shrine darkened more. so dark that even the bell ceased to ring as her darkness consumed it. Before long she finished her little fit of laughter and the darkness receded to as it was before and the bell chimed quietly again. ShadowWalker stared at the lifeless corpse waiting for it to move even an inch. She moved closer, the shadows spreading in the shrine but then they stopped. There, around the corpse was a perfect little circle, a circle she couldn't pass through, a circle her shadows couldn't penetrate. "what is this magic?" she purred, eyes flickering as she was obviously curious.

Balthazar stepped through the portal to the mortal plane once more. 'I am strong enough now, I feel the power it's unbelievable no other Warlord has ever had this much power. I can take the fight back to the arch angles. First I must remove the elf.' He looked around as the worlds shifted and he came out to the land of Wildgard. The sounds of nature were plentiful, the air seemed calm. Something caught his attention a force dedicated to chaos and carnage was not to far from where he entered, enticed he began to walk.
As he approached the barbarian settlement of Kattan the barbarians seemed to be conducting some sort of ritual. There was a hint of demonic influence in this ritual, they sacrificed a human and walked away, the humans body stood and joined them. Balthazar was not sure, but believed they had summoned a demon to this plane. Standing there in the crowd of barbarians was the child, he was tempted to attack but was distracted. The cultists all walked off in their separate ways one felt very familiar. 'Harket?' Balthazar thought, 'He'd left this plane for good, well, so he claimed.' He began to follow Harket.
After no response from Harket or his friends Balthazar attacked. Immediately he noticed he was not at his full strength, something had delayed the complete transfer. 'Is there an arch angel here?' Quickly the rest of the barbarian cultists were running to aid this demon. Balthazar's frail form perished. Frustrated he found himself returned to the portal to which he entered the world. He encountered the child there yet again, this time she was alone. He spoke to her, asking her to return home. She had no reasons to stay here. Balthazar had her locked away to keep her safe from his enemies. She refused and was soon rejoined with the settlers of Kattan. They chose to speak on her behalf, claiming she had every rite to stay behind, it was her choice. One of the barbarians commanded her to kill her own father, so Balthazar raised his sword to strike her down, fist sundering her weapon and as he brought back his arm a great sword found its self in his back, the body became limp once more.

Balthazar awoke again to find himself at the portal that he entered the world. This time his body and weapon wreathed in flames, now he has completed the transit to this realm. With his powers fully restored Balthazar begins his search. No one seemed to know where the elf was hiding he searched for any signs. The constant nagging of his child to stop and return home was growing tedious, but noticing Destael was "alive" and fleeing from him at every turn made him laugh; this was going to be a fun day. As he wandered the lands he noticed an angelic presence she was strong, Balthazar was sure of that, but confident he could destroy her. Killing an amazon and setting her to fight as one of his minions he was approached by a child, he was an assassin requesting a target. Balthazar lowered his sword and sent him in hunt of the elf.
When the elf was finally located he knew what must be done. He called out and killed her right then and there, the powers he had acquired from his followers were impressive. He became under attack from a monk, Thistle, Starfire had mentioned this one before, he was truly a pest. Forcing him to linger between the planes he waited his time and came back to kill them all. Slowly he would kill one or two at a time, but the monk was persistent. Eventually he was surrounded buy the barbarians of Kattan and some visitors from a far. They killed him and his form was lost, another being took his shape, he awoke with little of his power remaining. He tracked down the creature and confronted it, his powers were returned and he was himself again.
Though the elf still lived, he had seen her with the arch angel and made his choice. Seeking the angel the child told him would be his death, he ignored her and pressed on. The angel fought well to protect the lands. The angel landed a single blow to his shoulder, it cleaved threw and into his chest killing him, none of his powers would stop her blade. Awaking yet again he pressed harder at the angel dodging her weapons or blocking with his own. Returning to the ground he pushed towards the visitors, the child stepped in front of him to keep the visitor back. Balthazar ran his blade through her chest. When he turned to face the stranger he noticed he carried a holy blade and at that moment his head came lose from his body as it fell limp to the ground. Balthazar was defeated.
A rush came as his eyes opened. The forest, and darkness surrounded him. "You may want to run now." Balthazar heard from the shadow. Advice he took, but only so he could locate the arch angel. If it was just him and the angle surely the angle would fall. Flying into combat he met the angel in the air weapons swinging. Dodging every swing he landed a fair number of shots to her shield arm, and it fell limp as the shield fell in pieces. She was being healed on the ground so Balthazar took his time to kill some of the amazons around him, and he noticed Destael had taken up arms against him to aid the angel. Very strange even if she was no longer a demon, nor did she smell of human. The arch angel returned to combat, Balthazar heard the mortals below refer to this one as their queen, she would be even more a prize to slay. In his thoughts he was distracted, her weapon found purchase on his arm, again he was powerless to stop the damage. Lounging at her with a fierce attack a sharp sting was in his chest and the world around him turned black once more.

Hunter stood across the forest, remembering the fight between the demon that hunted the elf and the archangel that guarded her and those around. The battle was quite one-sided. A vampire firing a bow and a Valkyrie with he shield and pole arm against a flying demon with one sword. Hunter's curse drove him. The pride of the demon fell. His remained. He had a plan and so far it's going as planned.
As Hunter was pondering on his plans and the past, he felt his "casket" being disturbed. Hunter started to vanish and fade, reappearing near the area of the "Casket". The area was cover in foliage and trees. The "casket" laid near the bard's shrine.
The palm of Hunter's hand started to crackle and explode with lightning and it formed into a ball. He threw it towards the "casket" and walked towards it, casting another into is palm.

ShadowWalker's dark eyes flickered to the quiet creature who appeared near. Were they the one making this little force field around the once powerful Bathly? She wondered with a sickly sweet smile. "magic user, why do you protect this being?" she asked as she melted into the darkness around her. Her voice was quiet but more than audible in the small space they stood.
Were they one of his minions? she wondered as she looked them over. Were they an ally or were they trapping his corpse there to prevent her from reviving him? Her eyes roamed over them from head to toe, he looked human at first glance but was it normal for regular humans to be capable of such powerful magics? she wondered as she glanced back at the circle around the corpse.
The distinct ring of the bard shrine bell rung out again and her snickers melted into the sounds. Humans were such interesting beings she thought, that slick smile playing across her black lips again.

Hunter's Brown eyes meet the creatures. The creature looked much like a living shadow. The lightning bolt in his hand moved around. Hunter stared at the creature studying it and it studied him.
"From your question, it seems as though you know the being on the ground. Answer mine and I'll answer yours. What is your name?"

ShadowWalker smirked, 'always with the names these creatures' she thought moving forward slightly but certainly not to close as they held lighting in their hand. "They call me ShadowWalker in these parts, if my memory serves me well" she purred. "I've answered your's first now acknowledge mine, Why do you protect this being?"
ShadowWalker seemed to freeze in place and then a new image of her appeared closer to the circle protecting Balthy, the old image of her faded into the shadows as the new one appeared. "or are you protecting the people from him by holding him like that?" she asked her smile wasn't visible from within the shadows but could be seen in the gleam her eyes gave off. She was amused.

As the creature said it's name, ShadowWalker, Hunter couldn't help but smile. Plans are moving forward. He thought to himself. "Why the sudden addition of the question? Are you protecting him now? or are you protecting others from him? I know what you are. ShadowWalker. You are a demon." Hunter spoke as he paced back and forth. "I'll give you the choice, Protect him and save him or Protect others and kill him?"
The ball in his hand grew stronger and in size. It started to split into two and the two balls orbited Hunter. They spun around him faster and faster, widening and grow in height, creating a wall of force around Hunter. The circle that protected the corpse slowly fades.
"It's now your choice."

The dark being's aura flickered a moment as the other created a force around them self and removed it from Balthy. "My choice hmm?" she purred looking at the corpse before her. "You haven't answered my question though Human, that is quite rude since I so kindly answered yours" her form moved and seemed to crouch near Bathlazar's lifeless body like a stalking cat. A shadow even flickered behind her like a dark tail before wisping into multiple tails.
"If you know what I am, then you should know better than to ask me such a foolish question. I don't seek to protect him, not protect others. A demon only cares for one thing, themselves." she smirked as she looked down at the white haired demon. Would he try and kill her, or would he reward her for reviving him a second time. Was he here to harm the forest she now called home and could she make demands of another demon? Especially this one. Shadow leaned forward her shadowy lips near bathlazar's ear.
"I want this forest left untouched, what you do to them is nothing more than entertainment to me so long as the fight is not in this place... I gave you the advice to run when last I revived you, seems you didn't run quite fast enough hmm Balthy?" The shadow demon smirked "I give thee life from my own" she purred before slinking back into the shadows. "All I want is this forest. You can do what you will with the populace" she repeated "so long as it doesn't harm this forest."
