as Harkat stood on the brink of both the mortal and the demonic plane he reflected on his journey in his home world, he had taken over Xavian's land and became a warlord, alas the warlord life wasn't for him infact he hated sitting in his fortress with nothing to do all day.
the portal connected a south gate ridge of the demonic plane and the center of a small town just north of Wildgard the towns name is the "NorthWinds camp"
'i promised that "Demon slayer" that I would never return... did he think i was serious?' harkat laughed to himself as he jumped through the portal. the wind rushed past Harkats ears and the sun beat down on his face as soon as he fully crossed the threshold of the mortal plane.
a sick and twisted smile formed across the demons face, he had plans for this world.
and with a thunderous roar he screamed "IM BAAAAAACK"

Halizar once again was lurking in the backgrounds of the lands of Wildgard, keeping eyes on everything he could to make sure his plans were keeping on track but he was growing ever so impatient. He was normally quite patient but what would be the end result of his actions on both planes of late was making him rather antsy. It was coming time to take some real action, at least to kill some time until things fell into place; the downfall of the warlord Balthezar.
Halizar had hoped that the messengers he sent around the demon plane to leak this information had reached the ears of other demons who had wished for the same goal and that they would show up. It was coming closer to the appointed time Halizar had leaked and he was waiting around for signs of a rift which would signify the opening of a portal between the planes.
Surely enough such a rift appeared and a portal opened and moments later he had heard.... Harkat.
"No. Surely this is just a co-incidence. Or maybe...." Halizar thought to himself as he kept curious eyes on Harkat from the shadows below.
Harkat never really seemed the type who would take to Halizar but with the end goal of defeating Balthezar, perhaps he WAS here to work together on this final goal.
Halizar kept watch to see what he would do next, trying to get a read on Harkat's intentions on returning to Wildgard.

Harkat searched for any familiar faces and found none, as saddening as it was to not be recognized right away that also meant that enough time had passed that people were not expecting him back which made him grin with satisfaction.
"good to know that people remember me" he mutter to himself as he pulled the hood of his cloak over his face and sat down on a near by bench, the sun had just reached it peak of mid day, the wind had picked up slightly since his arrival but something still seemed off.
Just then Harkat remember he had heard a rumor on the Demon plane, a very devious and most delightful rumor that he could only hope to be true, that Balthazar would dare show his face on the mortal plane again. if there was anywhere the Warlord could be captured it would be here on the mortal plane, Harkat had spend most of his time back on the demon realm learning the way of the Warlords... this also meant that when the time came he wasn't above making someone tell him what he wanted to know, whether or not they lived after he was done with them seemed a lot like their problem in his mind.
'If i find Balthazar here...' his face turned into a crooked smile as he licked his upper lip.

"And in fact, you will find him here. He will be arriving in the near future. I have made sure of that" Halizar answered as he sat down on the bench where Harkat was, also cloaked and hooded.
"I have come very close to overcoming the final obstacles that tie Balthezar's life to this world. Soon he will be vulnerable. Little will he know that he will be walking into what will be his final resting place"
Halizar informed Harkat a bit of what was happening. But it was still not yet time to begin putting the pieces in motion. For now, Halizar needed to kill time.
Looking out onto the Northwinds camp of Wildgard; Halizar continued: "Many of the folks who dwell here do not even know of us or what we have done in the past. Those who do remember have long since stopped caring. One of our kind, someone dear to me, has even been reduced to a very sad and pitiful state by these mortals and it angers me. They do not remember just how terrifying demons can be."
Halizar suggested to Harkat with a grin. "Maybe we should be so kind as to remind them?"
Though for now Halizar would wait a little longer for a sign of any other demons who might show up.

"I might not be good at waiting but killing on the other hand..." Harkat smirked at the thought of reminding the people of this land just WHO was in charge.
"alright, let remind this town of just how bad it can be to be mortal" he said as the wind picked up, Harkats tattered leather cloak whipped around in the now very strong wind, tornadoes were his area of expertise after all.
"hear me townsfolk of the NorthWinds camp, run to the city guard, the white temple, or the church, none shall help you against the coming tides of change, for I AM the demon of the wind, bow before me and you MAY be spared" Harkat's voice boomed as if it had been amplified by the coming storm. he turned and caught the slightest glimpse of Halizars eyes. "how about that for a start?, now my friend... won't you join me on this spree of madness?" he chuckled to himself and extended his hand.

"Perhaps you are right. Even I can only be patient for so long but, maybe just this once...." Halizar replied to Harkat with a cool demeanor. Although the look on his face suggested that letting loose was what he actually wanted to begin with. Halizar extended his hand towards Harkat but then took it back and placed it over his eyes.
"I can do it myself you know" he said and lowered his hand to reveal his eyes had turned demon. Then Halizar exploded with energy as he let out his demon form. The shockwave of dark flame was strengthened and fanned by the storm Harkat had mustered and it tore up the nearby area in a torrent of gale, flames, and shadow. The two demons were opposites of each other in many ways but there was no denying that their capable affinities were boosted by the other when in unison.
Halizar laughed aloud at the rush he got when expending demonic energy. There was a certain pleasure that was felt when using it, even if the transformation he could perform on this plane was limited there was just no contest in how much more enjoyable it was, unlike the energies of human world magic which felt stale and flavourless in comparison.
-Just this once- was surely a lie. This was not going to be the only time he would make a transformation on the human plane.
"Alright, lets fly friend. Lead the way"

"Well. Finally found a way to Him." Kæax pulls down his mask and brings his black hood up. His wings fold down, vanishing.
He peers at the portal ahead of him and murmurs "Finally something to do." Kæax's first step is into the portal and his second is on grass. He found himself on the human plane, in the middle of Lomash Plains.
He looked to the north and saw a camp named "Northwinds" "Where the hell am I?" He whispered.

Harkat had not seen the figure slip out of the crack between the planes and with all the power Halizar and himself were leaking out it was near impossible to detect any other magical presence.
"Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war" Harkat voice once again boomed as if the wind itself was talking rather than him. A rather large funnel cloud began to form above the small camp, even this was beyond Harkats normal powers he figured his powers must be amplified by Halizars. Harkat turned to face Halizar's full demon form.
"It has been too long my friend, let us give them something to truly fear" Harkat said as his face twisted into a grin. and with that he beckoned the funnel cloud closer and closer till it made contact just a short distance outside the camp.
"Its... beautiful..." he said with a slight smile.

The magic that spilled out of the portal blocked Kæax's sense of detection of magic beings. The winds boomed of another's voice. A voice of the demon plane, which eased him. Kæax raised his mask to uncover his mouth. His voice boomed back into the sky "And the dogs of war come to the call of havoc!" Lowering his mask, he hoped the voice in the wind would respond back.
His body ached for blood. It ached for power.

On hearing an unfamiliar voice respond in the wind Halizar stopped throwing his auras around so the pair could detect where this new voice came from. A regular mortal surely could not have been able to perform a feat like that and immediately he could tell that it was likely not a human. They also had an unfamiliar aura.
Halizar exclaimed to Harkat. "So, another has arrived to possibly answer the call or maybe it is just a stray. Let us go greet this one, shall we?" and after sending a gesture towards the source of the voice he teleported towards the source. After re-materializing in the general area of this new presence Halizar raised his arms towards the figure and spoke.
"And havoc shall be had this day. Show us what energy it is you wield that we may judge your power and intent"
If this figure couldn't measure up then the two would likely slay him

as Halizar disappeared Harkat dropped the funnel cloud and it too disappeared into thin air. Harkats eyes lit with a light blue haze and his wings unfolded from behind him, rather than put strain on his wings he made the air flow under him so he could float mid-air without much effort.
"then kneel before havoc you dog, for I AM the coming storm" Harkat grinned as turned around and faced the pair of demons. "what do you think Halizar? is he worthy?" he questioned.

Kæax stares at the two demons. "If you are the storm then how is a mere fool able to overcome it. Clearly, Harkat, you are not strong enough to beat him." He says calmly.
Kæax extend his hand forward and for a small pause the clouds darkened and moved above him. Lightning struck down from the black clouds right into his hand and the raw power formed into a sphere in the palm of his hand. "If you plan to take his place, you need more help."

Halizar laughed at Kaeax' remark
"Overcame by a mere fool. You hear that Harkat?..." He teased. Though Halizar understood that the only reason this demon was able to match his voice to Harkat's wind was because he appeared to have some control over two seperate elements: Wind and Lightning. That alone was more than enough to show his worth and capabilities as a demon.
Halizar now spoke to Kaeax "...Though a mere fool nonetheless. Control over two elements doesn't mean you can out-power a master of one in his own element"
It was clear that the ego of this new demon who competed with a similar element to Harkat would only serve to fire him up and make him stronger. A noteworthy addition to their campaign.
Halizar continued: "Storm, is it? Very interesting. It is not every day one finds a demon who can mold two elements to make a new one. You are most welcome to join us"
He then turned to Harkat "What do YOU think?"

"A jack of all traits is a master of none... fine but hes your charge" Harkat said with a flick of his wrist, it was true that Demons that could use two elements were rare they are not quite as strong as a single element user but they were more versatile.
with a snap of his fingers he dropped to the ground and landed on his feet, beside the other demon. "you get one warning, we have no use for weaklings. If you wish to prove yourself worth our time then were going to need to see something.... more" Harkat said with a cruel smile, idea bounced around his head of what this other demon could do to prove themselves.
suddenly he had the best test ever. "i want the head of the White Lady, bring me it on a pike and then we'll talk about training" Harkat laughed his cynical cuckle and proceeded to start the funnel cloud again this time bringing it closer and closer to the camp, killing many nameless mundane people in the process.

The smell of death can be felt as Zu suddenly Appers as hestands behind the three of them watching and seeing all the mundane people scream to his delight as he gathers the souls. His eyes glow red as it can been seen through his cloak as his cowl radiates his family symbol.
He looks on staring at this madness to his delight and satifity with the carnage Zu walks closer to the trio
"I would love to help you create this chaos now as I know how to infiltrate both the white temple and her Light castle in the sky as well.
He walks forward and grabs a wander soul and grips it by the throat then stares at it.
It wimpers
He snaps it's neck then devours it's corps as well.
