Name: Thoror, Kin of Thrain
Species: Half-Dwarf
Company: Independent
Class: Barbarian Lvl 1
Credits: 4, as of September 2nd
Weapons: Bone club, occasionally accompanied by a shield.
Current Abilities: Berserk
Trivia: Thoror isn’t named after Thor. Thoror takes their name from the dwarf Thror, from Snorri Sturlison’s Edda. And also Thor. Yeah.
Story Plot: After accidentally starting a second war with the plains elves, Thoror was sent by their father to ‘Do some good elsewhere’ with a caravan of exiles. This caravan was not expected to return. Through a traitor, word got out to a guild of assassins that a nobleman was on there. These assassins were enemies of Thoror’s mines, so they sent one in a merchant disguise to kill the nobleman on board. Thoror had the noble blood, but the assassin didn’t know that, and couldn’t leech the information off on any of the others before she killed them. Eventually there was just her and Thoror. The assassin, Rosaline, had her own reasons to stop killing at that point, (She does not yet have an account here, to my knowledge.) and Thoror, being the oblivious idiot that they are, still did not realise that she was the murderer. The two ended up in Wildgard, each with their own reasons to stay.
Physical Description: Extraordinarily tall for a dwarf, thanks to human blood. Shaven beard, the greatest dishonour for a dwarf. Since the beard is shaven, no one can identify the gender. (Females do not style their beards, anything more than three braids is forbidden.)
Garb: Typical bar wench outfit, covered in furs.
Motives: The mines have nothing for Thoror. They’ve found everything in Wildgard and their only desire is to continue living there.
Personal Motto: “Aye, you can call me an idiot. But at least I’m a happy idiot.”
History of Family: Thoror is the child of the king Thrain and a human who was executed shortly after Thoror’s birth. Having human blood, Thoror was not fit for a first born noble, and thus excluded from any teachings above reading and etiquette. Their size made them ill-fit for mining work, and Thoror was too…slow to work as a scholar, so Thrain thought he would put Thoror’s size to democratic use. Without any training. This started two wars, and after the second one they were finally exiled.
When they found Wildgard, they opened a tavern and married the Elf Jubilee. Although they are faithful to each other, there is no stopping the massive amount of flirting they both do with anyone who won’t hit them if they do so.
Role in Wildgard: Barkeeper/innkeeper
