Durrak walked forward pressing on looking for shelter from the harsh blowing winds. Muttering to him self he steadies and peers off into the distance hopping to catch glimpse of a cave or a opening into an underground structure, natural or otherwise. Through the blowing snow all he could make out were some distant brown surface stalagmites that spread like iron veins up towards the nothingness above.
"Well there's space there, must forge on."

Ashen, watched as a cold miserable soul ventured in the woods of pan'ti in the safety of the high top trees. bow ready, face emotionless. she want a killer but she has learned that most of the people here are, shoot first ask later. lucky favored the prepared...and the hidden. her bow may have been ready but it wasn't drawn back, she desired to watch him for a bit, she had found many people before passed out face first in the snow. and she would often put them in the inn if they had no injuries. lets see what he is up to.

Trudging forward into the dead brush and passing the treeline to the forest Durrak stopped and looked around.
"Hmm, a little farther in, more shelter it would seem." Pushing past the lowest branches, he found a small clearing. Setting down his pack and shoving a small amount of snow out of the way he started setting up a tent. Rubbing his hands together for warmth he remembered something, paused, and reached into his bag yet again tossing a small red stone on the ground beside him a small roaring fire burst forth.
"Much better!" He exclaimed and continued putting up the tent.

Ashen angled herself so she could see the figure make his resting point, perhaps she should lead him to town. maybe give him something to eat. she did just get some rabbit from her hunt. im sure i could spare least one she thought. but how to get his attention...she pondered as she tail swayed back and forth. her ears twitching from the wind blowing in them on occasion. maybe i should just walk over. im a fast running if things turn sour....

Durrak finished setting up the tent and grabbed the bag and stepped inside. Dropping his bag inside he crossed his legs and pulled some dry bread, old cheese, and some smoked meat. Rifling through his bag as he ate he drew his bedroll and laid it out. Closing his eyes after finishing his rations, a small glimmering aura began pulsing from the tent to about ten feet out, then it dissipated into the ground.
"That should keep things safe, I suppose I could rest now." Durrak said to himself.

Ashen sniffed the air, the winds where picking up. Maybe she should warn the figure. She could smell the storm coming, winds from far places push colder winds. She should warn him it would be his choice to say. Carefully she jumped out of her tree landing on her feet as if she had been standing there the whole time. And walked over to him. Remaining at the opening she called to him. "Oi! Traveler! You awake? Storms coming you shouldn't sleep here unless you have a death wish"

As the stranger approached in one fluid motion Durrak came sliding out of the tent with his hammer mid swing he stopped it dead just under her chin.
"You can never be to safe in the wilds." He nodded in apology as he pulled his hammer back gripping the haft right near the head. "Just a little ward. You say a storm is coming? If the cover of the forest is not enough I assume you can offer an alternative." Then pausing looking the stranger over.

She smirked as she removed her hand from her short sword. "Yes I do but I'll only guild you to it if you don't use that hammer on me, am I to assume this is how you say hello in your race?"

"Lead-on then lass." He grabbed on string hanging from his tent and put the whole thing into the bag at once. "My people don't tend to greet outsiders. So, where is this place?" Durrak slung the bag over his shoulder looking to the woman for direction.

Motioning for him to follow her, she started to walk to the direction of the town. " you are in Wildgard" she answered not even looking at him. On occasion she would check to see if he was still following her.

"Wildgard you say, what's there to guard here? I haven't found anything worth a stone here." He mused as the trudged forward. Getting lost in thought a couple times and nearly walking off into the forest deeper, just to rush back and find the strange creature.
"By the way lass, what manner of creature might you be? Can't say I've ever met anything with a tail, well, not that can talk anyway." He laughed to himself.

she smiled"not there is not Guard, but there are many a fighter hear" her next question made her stop and look at him. *why does everyone ask me that?*she thought to herself. "i am a kintu,a panther, lynx half breed, with something else mixed in im unaware of." she started to walk again motioning for him to follow again. "yourself?"

"Have ya never seen a dwarf before?! Are folk are known wide and far for our craft or at least the ale." Durrak began to walk with his hammer as a walking stick holding just below the head. He thought to himself that she mentioned there are more of them.
"You best not be walking me to an ambush. I am no wary traveller." He spoke with a cautionary tone and slowing his pace.

"and i have only ever seen one other dwarf, i ment what type pure dwarf? half? iron hammer clan? i dont know what dwarfs are like, your the first one i have had a conversation with." she looked back as she spook for a moment. then looked forward continuing her walking.
