Rook smiled and nodded, happy that Starfire was seriously considering her offer. She figured it would do both of them good to get away from this place for a while. The only thing about leaving, was the fact that the church would be down a good two members.
"We could plan on leaving in the spring or summer, whatever you choose. Would you rather deal with rain and muddy, wet roads - or the blazing heat?" She laughed, but a part of her dreaded the negative parts of either choice. Summer would possibly be dryer, and easier to camp out along the way... but the heat was sometimes unbearable. Rook knew a way to go in which they would make it to an inn by every night for sure, but that would require saving up some coin, or resorting to shadier ways of pay. She pursed her lips to hide her disgust from her own foul memories. "It's up to you. I see the benefits of either, and they're weighted rather equally. I mean, unless the church really needs us for something... we can take a break, right?" She asked her friend across the table. "I assume Thistle cares about the well-being of his underlings."
