Having spent so much time in his room in the Tavern, smelling food and drink waft up through the floorboards, the emaciated elf had finally decided to take off. Thoror had been coming up to check on him, leaving food on the table near the door. The smell had filled the room so heavily that it was making him dizzy. Yet, Psylar hadn't touched it. Still he hadn't eaten a singe bite. Instead, he took up his bag, though his limbs barely seemed strong enough to hold its weight anymore, and slung it over his shoulder. He padded quietly over to the tray, and took up a few things in his hands. He hoped that the half-dwarf would stave off a little if it appeared he had been eating. Instead, he shoved the food into his bag, planning to ditch it, or even hopefully find someone else to discreetly leave it for. Gently, he reached for the doorknob, opening it very slowly and carefully, trying to not make a sound. Then, it was a mere matter of gliding down the back steps that Thoror and his workers used when travelling from the kitchen. Psylar had to wait a while to find the right opportunity, but then he managed to slip through the kitchen and out the back door unnoticed just as Thoror was in the main room of the tavern, and his few helpers were turned away.
Of course, the elf could have waited a few more hours until nighttime, but he'd already been inside for days upon days. Having finally mustered the energy and will to leave the warmth of the establishment, he didn't want to take any time before slipping away. Quietly, he stalked off in the direction of Pan'Do, so that he was just at teh edges of the city, before he started to circle around towards the bridge and across it. With dusk falling, it was easy to skirt around the few that were still out. After a short while, he paused at an entrance to Pan'Ti forest, and looked back over the expanse he'd traveled entirely unnoticed. Then, adjusting his cowl with his left hand, he ducked under a branch and into the darkness of the woods, with only a few wisps of white hair trailing behind him to mark where he had been.
