The snow falls slowly and lightly. Everything is lit by the brilliance of the moon. All is quiet.
Sitting on the highest, moonlit branch.
Hunter sits there with snow slowly piling on him, thinking of what next to do.
He takes a good look around, nothing is moving other than falling snow and moving branches.
Whispering to himself: "It's odd, a land this ravaged and torn up by fighting and war is so peaceful during the night."
He continues to think to himself.
Then the wind blares in to his face forcing him to cover his face.

The Sky was Clear and the Moonlight shining down on the trees made everything snow-covered sparkle. The Cold wind carrying snow in waves, just like the water. Everything was a sea of Snow, So it was only fitting that He chose to take the form of a Snowy Owl. Not entirely rare in these areas, but still a marvelous sight to behold. As he slowly swept across the land, he paid little attention to the world below the treetops. Not knowing anyone in Wildgard was a blessing, He didn't want to deal with their wars and popularity contests.
But he Couldn't help but notice someone else perched way up high, nearly at the top of one of the taller trees. 'I wonder what they're doing up there, a Kinto maybe? You'll never get off that tree with your size...' He thought, circling around one more time to see if the mysterious figure would take flight from the tree like he did. He let out a long slow a gentle screech, encouraging the perched one to Join him in the skies...

He could not figure what to do next but train and hone his skills.
Closing his eyes, he focused on the sounds around him.
The wind whaled.
The trees slepted.
The sound of clatter from the tavern.
Then suddenly, he heard a call of a bird.
The call came from above him.
Opening his eyes, he saw the brilliant wings of a snowy owl.
Hunter waves at the birdy flying above, wishing he could fly to see more of the world and escape from this land and his past but for him, it was just another dream that kept him on the ground.

The Owl watched the Perched one with wide yellow eyes, Realizing of course, that the man wasn't a Kinto. And may very well be a man stuck in a tree. So Gil turned his wings and curved back to the tree, Quieter than the wind, he Sailed back to a nearby tree and closed his wings upon his back. 'Not A Flyer...' He thought. 'That's sad.'
He kept his eyes on the strange man, waiting for it to do or say something, but in the end the man was as quiet and Gil was. So He transformed into something a little less Intimidating. A Ferret, A Cinnamon Ferret, with rich browns for coat color, though he still had yellow eyes and a black patch over his left eye. Gil traveled along the thicker Branches and found his way over to the man in the tree to see what the matter was.

He watches the owl fly away, not knowing where it went.
"Even someone as free as a bird has somewhere to be" he whispered.
"Well time to get down" he thought.
"Wait. How am i going to get down?"
He thinks of his options to get down and the only real option was to jump down on to a lower branch.
He would have ziplined down if he had rope on him.
He puts his bow to his back.
Trusting the branches integrity and strength, he attempts to stand on top of the branch.

The Cinnamon Ferret jumped easily from branch to branch, Stopping at the tree beside the man. "Excuse me? Having troubles Sir?" He called out to him, but then stopped to wonder what he could possibly do for help. It's not like he could do anything to help him no matter what shape he was in. Gil tilted his head, looking toward the ground and the long fall beneath them.
"Can you Shift? It might be alot easier to get down in a different Form. Like something with Feathers!" He Suggested. Hoping.

Standing on the branch, he notices a cinnamon ferret on a tree near him.
It spoke to him.
He stood there surprised.
"A talking ferret? Hmmmmmm, wait. Shift?" He said to the ferret.
"Shift as in, shapeshift?"

The creature tilted his head, staring at the strange man. "Yes Shapeshift, what else would I mean?" He skittered across the branch and launched himself like a squirrel over to a branch hanging in front of the man's face. "Can you shift or not? It's it's 'Not' Then... yo gotta find yourself another way down. I can't carry ya."
The Ferret had a little bit of attitude in his Voice, but he didn't mean to be rude, he wanted to help, and the more time he Spent watching people in Wildgard, the more he realized, not all Kintu were Shapeshifters. But he was, And he seemed to be alone.

Hunter replied back: "Well, do I not look human in your eyes? I'm human and I can not shapeshift."
He studies the ferret, noticing the eyes.
The eyes glow a yellow colour. A black patch lays around one of the eyes.
"I've had a encounter with a shapeshifter in the past. You don't seem like the one from before. A wizard in wildgard said to look at the eyes of a shapeshift and remember them. I hope you are a friendly one." He says while studying the ferret more.

Gil Stared back at the Hunter and wondered why he was looking at him so strangely. "No one is Pure Human, you know. Once, a Long long time ago, Everyone had the Ability to shapeshift. Everyone. Even you! But seeing as you don't know how to shift now, I guess you're stuck up here." He shook off a little bit of fresh snow and looked back to the Stranger, now he was staring at his eyes... Making Gil a little Nervous. "I'm no Bad guy, but i'm still not helping you out of this tree. I'll meet you at the bottom though. Try not to Land on me."
Gil Nodded, Shifting back into the Snowy White Owl and hopping off the branch, gliding in circles to the bottom.

"No-one is Pure Human" lingered in his head as he watched the shifter glide down near the base. He notices a lower branch adjacent to him. Hunter launches himself towards the branch, just barely landing on it. Right as he lands on the branch, it creaks. There was another lower branch, but it seems farther away than the last. He lunged towards it, in hope of making it and he lands on it but slips and just manages to hold on, he tries to pull himself up.
He looks down towards the ground and regrets it. "Thats a good fifty foot drop." Whispering to himself.
Thinking to himself, "What should I do? I can't hold on to the branch for very long and the only other way to get down is to jump. There are branches along the way to jump onto but they will most likely break and there is a pile of snow right below me."
"Screw it." He says out loud. He jump down, landing on small and weak branches. The sound of broken branches is all he can hear as he falls. He lands in the snow back first. A large crack sound was made as he landed.

The Owl swooped down and landed in a swirl of snow powdered puff, when it settles, he was in the form of a snow ferret. Staring at the Hunter curiously.
"Are you alright?" He asked. Carelessly. Climbing up to the Hunters chest, pawing him in the face with cold snow. "Do you need help?"

"Ugh. Yeah I'm alright but I think something broke." He says as he rises up from the snow. As he gets up he notices that something is missing on him. He looks above him looking for anything that possibly gotten stuck up in the trees, nothing, then he looks on the ground.
First in front of him, then around him, then behind him. When he looks behind him, he sees his bow. Broken. It had snapped in the centre of the bow, the string had snapped as well.
"Crap.... Crap. Crap. Crap. Crap." He whispers, looking down at the bow.

The Ferrets pearly teeth appeared in his mouth, eyes narrowed. It must have been a somewhat strange expression for a ferret to appear Worried. The Creature scurried over to the bow and sighed. "Ohhh... Rotten Luck...." He said. "It takes alot to mend a bow, you know." The ferret picked up both ends of the bowstring and shook his head "Tsk tsk tsk... That's a nasty Snap. Can you fix it?"
Gil knew if worst came to worse, he could probably fix it, but he wasn't ready to reveal his human form to the hunter yet. If by chance he couldn't be trusted. Gil was only looking for something or someone to pass the time. A Very lonely creature he was. And fun-loving at heart. 'Poor Guy' He thought to himself, looking up at the Hunter's hurt expression. 'I hope he can fix it, or knows someone who can. I'd hate to mend it myself.'

Hunter holds the bow. "No, it's unrepairable even by using magic means." He said. "This bow was handed down to me by others before me, they were all famous hunters." He mumble with sadness lingering in his voice. "Well, atleast I don't know if there is a way. I...... I don't know what i should do."
He turns to the ferret, he says "Do you know of a way?"
