They shun all outsiders, even the Elven High Court, except in times of war. They are considered evil and ruthless, disliked among the other nations of Elves. Psylar disliked the things he experienced during his time among him people before he left. His parents were distant from him, so he cared for them little, however his older brother and younger sister were endearing to him, despite their willingness to join the other Elves in their ways. After a series of major events following an accident caused my Psylar, he left his people, mostly under his own will, to find his own way.
Despite the xenophobic ways of his people, he managed to find a tomb about a different nation of Elves: the Woodland Elves. Interested, he studied what he could on his own, attempting to follow in the practices of their druids. he decided to spend his time searching for these fascinating elves, hoping to find a Druid teacher of his own. While meditating in the forest, he heard noises coming towards him. Startled and wary, he cautiously investigated the sound, until he saw what creature has caused them: none other than a Woodland Elf! He left his hiding place, and raised a hand toward the stranger in greeting. However, it was seen as a threatening movement coming from a Night Elf, and the other elf, whom Psylar could now see was a female, turned heel and ran.
Thinking that his chance of finally meeting the Woodland Elves he had been searching for, he pursued. He called out many time, before his words seemed to reach her. By this time, Psylar had fallen rather far behind in the pursuit, so when she halted and turn around to face him, he was startled and relieved. After a wary conversation at a long distance, the other Elf told Psylar her name: Jubilee. She came closer to him, and they talked for a short while. After the initial excitement of finally meeting a Woodland Elf wore off, Psylar realized how infuriating Jubilee was. Overly cheery, and high-pitched, and friendly, she seems like an overly excited puppy wanting to play. Nonetheless, after a short while they gathered Psylars's things together, and set out for Jubilee's settlement.
Despite Jubilee's fairly easily earned trust, the rest of the tribe was not so welcoming. Upon first arrival, alarm was raised by the sentries that there was a Night Elf approaching camp. If it weren't for Jubilee, Psylar could have easily been shot dead. After a long meeting between Psylar and the leaders of the village discussing his business there and whether or not he should be allowed to stay, the decision was nearly made that he should be forced to leave, for the safety of the people of the tribe. However, the tribe's most honoured Druid and teacher, without warning or giving a reason, announced that he was taking Psylar as his pupil, no matter what any of the other leaders said. This uprooted their original decision, and much to Psylar's relief, he was allowed to stay and study until his new master.
Jubilee convinced her small family to take him in, making them adopted siblings of a sort, much to Psylar's frustration. However, Psylar reluctantly began to care for her after a time, because she was nearly the same age as the birth sister he has left back home and reminded him of her. He began to trust her and she became his closest friend, and someone he swore to protect at all costs.
After a time, the tribe decided that they wanted to make connections in farther, stronger Kingdoms. Jubilee and Psylar went out together in search of one such Kingdom, coming upon Wildgard in the end.
