Story Plot: As a child, Idina was raised by her father in a Healer's village, where the nearby forest was teeming with woodland Kintu of all sorts and the villagers and Kintu interacted daily and with good intentions. The atmosphere was positive and passive, and no one bore any ill-will to their neighbour. This village, however, fell into the path of two warring parties, and when she was around seven the village and surrounding forest were both destroyed - burned to the ground. Idina had been in the forest at the time, and she and three other Kintu managed to escape; it is not known if anyone else, human or Kintu, survived. Together, the small party kept to the trees and traveled together. The eldest Kintu, a robin known as Eglantine, taught the two youngest (being Idina and a deer who went by Rowan) how to use flowers to express one's feelings. This is a skill that Idina has kept close to her since. Once the four of them reached another magic village, a decision had to be made. Idina wanted to go into the town and interact with humans again: Eglantine knew that humans outside of their birth village tended not to be kind to Kintu. Eventually Eglantine decided that Idina should go into the town to continue her learning in magic - she would be better off there. They separated with heavy hearts. Instead of being immediately accepted as a traveler and magician, a few ladies in town put Idina into an orphanage once they learned that she was very far from home. She spent a few years there before her wanderlust got to her, and at the age of nine, she escaped in the dead of night. She didn't stop running away from the orphanage until she found a plain village; there she found a wood carver and used the money she had won for herself by selling flowers to people in the previous town to ask him to make her a device that would allow her to use a spell her father taught her: transferring real-life images into a form that could be held. (Essentially, she made a medieval camera). With that around her neck, she set off again. Since then, she has been traveling from village to village, offering her flower business to young lovers and gentlewomen, sometimes capturing injustices on her capture device and bringing them to those stronger than her so the wrongs may be righted, often seeking shelter in taverns or with her best clients. Her longest stay in one place lasted almost a year, with Kintu couple Hawk Man (a hawk Kinto) and Night Song (a snake) whom she helped realize their love. Soon after leaving them at the age of nineteen, she learned of the land of Wildgard, and she has come in search of a place to call a home for herself.
