Ursa was also very cold, her face was red and wind-scarred, her human body wasn't built for the Mountains but she kept trudging through the snow closer and closer to the Mountain Pass that led up to the Human Village at the Base of the Ursanid Mountain. Beyond the Village was where the Bears took over the mountain and there was an uneasy treaty between the two races. Being Human passing through should be to their advantage, because the villagers were unfamiliar with Ursa's new shape.
"Star, there's a Village up ahead, we can get you something warm and maybe something to eat. Beyond that it's going to get tough..." Ursa hoped that Starfire could handle it. The last thing she wanted was for her companion to Die in her homeland and return to Wildgard in a box or Urn.

Star went through her bag and grabbed another pair of gloves. She put those pair on top of the other. "The only thing that's bothering me is my hands other than that i'm warm." Star had questions she wanted to ask but didn't know what would be okay to ask. As she wanted to cry every minute she held it in and sighed. "Do you have any family here?" She looked at Ursa. "And do you mind if I still call you Bear.... I don't feel right calling you Ursa." She kept walking and following the foot prints Ursa made in front of her.

Ursa looked sad when Star confessed her hands being cold. She took star's double-gloved hands and tried to warm them with her hands, realizing that they were small and fleshy instead of big and fluffy. Ursa frowned and shrugged. "I'm sorry Star I can't..." She looked at her human form again and almost started choking on her tears. Instead she swallowed the pain and shook her head, "The Village Fen, they will have something useful i'm sure..." She held the Scout's hand and wandered closer to town and looked over her shoulder to answer Starfire's questions.
"I don't have Family here, At least, not that I know of. I was born on the Mountain by the Mother of Bears, She's old now, An Ursanid. My Father was a Kintu shapeshifter. I..." She stopped and Looked at her feet. 'I've never told anyone about my past... Why Starfire? Why now?' She thought, pondering whether or not she should continue. "I was born a Bear cub, didn't learn how to shift until I was about ten Human Years old. I ony took a full human shift a total of five times in my entire life" She grinned, as if it was something to be proud of. "Each time I took a form like this, was to deceive Strangers. To keep them away from the Bears I live to protect. And Now i'm Shifting for you to show you the side of me no one believed existed. To show you how I feel on the inside whenever you're around..."
Ursa stopped at the wooden signpost that Read: "Fen Village"
She looked at Starfire and sighed "This is a rough town, people here can be both very nice and very mean. It depends on whether or not they have lived on the mountain thier entire lives. People that have been off the mountain tend to realize there's more to life than fighting and survival.... Like me."

Star smiled but listened to what she had to say. "Thanks for sharing, you didn't have to but it shows how much you care and trust me to share. People like Vija don't like to share about their past." Star looked down at the snow. "I don't either."She sighed and kept walking feeling the warth come bach to her hands when Ursa held them. "Thank you."

Ursa shook her head and smiled at her "I don't need to know your past, It's right now that I care about. and your future."
Entering the Village gates, There were a few people here and there, It was tiny and much smaller than Wildgard, but there were a good number of men and women wearing Furs and Leathers. Ursa walked through the Crowds leading Starfire by the hand, keeping an eye on everyone as she passed them. She looked everyone directly in the eyes so she knew if she should be scared of them or not. "Starfire." She whispered. "Don't be afraid to Stare people in the eyes. On the Mountain, it shows you have no fear of the person you're staring at, It means you're willing to go face to face with anything that may happen." Ursa passed a few huts here and there, but there was one rather big hut steaming in the cold air in the distance, she was heading there. Her one hand was on Starfire, and the other was gripping her staff. She thought to herself, in her mind she was much less confident. 'Stare, but remember, don't let staring distract you... you need to be aware of everything... remember what you learned...'

Drogax rushed out from his hut noticing some people coming towards the village. It's strange to have visitors this late in the season and the hunting party wasn't due back for some time. He grabbed his maul and a few other people and headed to the entrance.
"There could be trouble with the hunters." He told them as they approached the two people walking into the village.
"Starfire!?" Drogax said in surprise. "What are you doing this far north, and who's that you have with you?" He asked sending the others back to their business.

Star looked up when she heard someone call her name. "Huh?" she let go of Ursa's hand. "Who. Wait.... What. Drogax??" Star looked at him confused why he's in the mountain. "Um... you know her." She looked at Ursa and forgot she was in human form. "Oh, It's bear.... I mean Ursa." Star looked at the know not knowing what to say.

Ursa frowned and walked toward Drogax, nodding to him in a form of greeting. Never breaking Eye contact. She meant no harm to anyone and she had never caused problems on the mountain before.
"Drogax, I need something warm to Keep Starfire's blood flowing." She dug into her pockets and handed Him a bunch of precious stones and metals. "It's all I have but you know i'm good to repay you when I can. I just need something warm, we're climbing the mountain."

Drogax looked to Starfire and then to Ursa. Pushing Ursa's hand back he spoke.
"Don't worry about payment we always help the Bears in this village." Drogax looked at them both and motioned for them to follow.
"Come you both may need some coats. My family will gladly provide for you both." He began walking towards a large hut near the center of the village. Pushing aside the animal hide curtain he welcomed them to his families hut.

She didn't know to follow so she waited for Ursa to go first. She sighed and started to move, she hid her face not wanting to show anyone who she was. "Do we have to go. I'm fine we can keep walking." She whispered to Ursa.

Ursa whispered back, leaning closer to her "Star, it's rude not pass through this village and not visit the Master Hut. Not only is it rude, but you won't survive the cold up here without help from Drogax's family." Ursa put the precious stones back in her bag. "I could always keep you warm, but i'd have to shift back into a Bear... and I'll only do that if we absolutely need it."
She took Starfire's hand and kept her head up, Following Drogax to the large steaming hut. From her experiences. It was always better to visit with the Humans out of respect. That way the Karma didn't take you out on the Mountain. The Village Fen was the place at the base of the Crags where the Forest met the Mountains. There was no getting to the Bear's Keep without Passing through.

Drogax talked with one of the other men in the hut then looked back at his friends.
"Please, take what you need. We have plenty here." he began pulling cloaks of fur and hide from a large wooden chest. Drogax tossed one over to starfire and draped one over his back. Then grabing a leather satchel he started to fill it with dried and smoked meats.
"How many days are you planing up on the mountain?" he asked having stuffed five days worth of food in the bag already.

Star kept quiet unsure of everything. "I'm sorry i'm being quiet I just feel like this is all going to fast." Star said a bit louder than a whisper. She caught the jacket Drogax threw at her. "I just need something for my hands." Star was shivering a bit and looked at Bear.... Ursa and then at Drogax then at the floor.

Ursarius gratefully took what Drogax had to offer. She smiled and nodded the best that she could, but deep down inside she was afraid, very afraid. Her body wanted to shake and shiver with fear. She smiled at Starfire, not wanting to show her weakness. Ursa was now going against everything she ever believed in, going against who she was, and who she wanted to be. But... She needed to Have Starfire keep believing in her 100%. She nodded at Drogax and stocked up.
"Drogax, I apologize but we can't stay long, We'll only be up the mountains a few days at best, but i'll need provisions for there and back, I didn't bring anything with me when I left Wildgard."

"Oh, sorry I didn't think anything of it Starfire. Would you like to sit down?" Drogax said pulling out a stool for Starfire. He moved over to another crate and stuffed some bread in the bag.
"Ursa, aren't you normally in bear form all the time, or do you need a coat too?"
