Class: assassin (level 2)
Credits: 15
Weapons: two short swords, throwing weapons
Current Abilities: trap, poison weapon
Story Plot:
Rose Griswold wasn’t always a thief and a murderer. She grew up as a peasant farmer from a nice family. She had three other siblings, of which she was the second youngest, who also helped out on the farm. One wouldn’t say that life was ‘good’ for Rose and her family, as they were living under a feudal system, but it wasn’t as bad for them as it was for some of the other families in the area. However, farm life was monotonous and repetitive.
As soon as she turned fifteen, Rose packed what little belongings she herself owned and left. She didn’t know quite where she was headed but she did not much care either. All Rose wanted was a change from the boring life of a farmer, an adventure of sorts. However, as she got farther and farther from the farmland she grew up on, Rose got increasingly unfamiliar with the landscape around her and thus more and more lost. She was forced by hunger and necessity to sell her belongings, which were now gradually disappearing by this point. By the time she reached the next large city, she had run out of things to sell. Rose turned to thievery, which she had no qualms about. She quickly got the hang of separating people from their valuables and blending into the background.
It was going well until Rose ended up in a violent confrontation. The confrontation ended with Rose severely injured and the other party dead. She looted the body and checked in at the town inn to rest and tend to her wounds. Unbeknownst to Rose, there was someone who had seen the fight and followed Rose to the inn. She encountered the stranger, who explained what they witnessed and that they would pay her to kill again. Rose saw this as a challenge and accepted the offer.
She did this multiple times before meeting Thea, a druid, whom she ended up travelling with. Rose’s primary occupation was making things disappear, mostly people but also various valuables. One of the things that Rose picked up was a red amulet with yellow flecks. She was strangely unable to sell off the amulet and, as more time passed, Rose found herself increasingly attached to the amulet and had taken to wearing it. The amulet happened to be cursed and is slowly affecting Rose the longer she wears it.
Rose and Thea travelled for six months before coming across the city of Wildgard. Rose doesn’t know how long she is planning on staying in Wildgard, but she is very interested in the going-ons there.
Physical Description: Rose has shoulder length plain brown hair that she keeps tied up and out of her face. She is of average height and weight and in generally not memorable in appearance. Rose takes pride in being able to make herself appear unassuming. She also has a myriad of scars from various altercations.
Garb: Rose wears a long white dress, short enough as to not inhibit her movements, with a dark green tunic that she acquired on her travels. She also wears black leggings and a red amulet. When she is working, she has a heavy black cloak with a fur-trimmed hood and a black scarf to cover her face.
Motives: Rose’s primary motive is to find adventure, as she is very easily bored. She also likes the idea of power, but does not want to be in the spotlight.
Personal Motto: “Those who are nice never get anywhere in life, so what’s the point of doing good?”
History of Family: Rose’s family were farmers for as far back as they can remember. Her immediate family still lives, although quite far from Wildgard, as Rose has been travelling in roughly the opposite direction for about five years now.
Role in Wildgard: Rose mostly likes to observe and not get into visible conflicts, so that is what she is doing in Wildgard for now. She is very interested in the various events that she has seen in Wildgard as of yet.
