The thunder jolted her awake, causing the small girl to startle and quickly open to eyes to the dance of lightening above her through the trees. She blinked a few times, getting used to the constant flashes of light in the darkness. The grass prickled wet against her bare skin, the rain dampening her hair and causing her to shiver violently. She sat up slowly, instinctively cautious of any injuries. The child sat up easily; there were none. As the thunder crashed again, she flinched and looked around her, wondering if there were anyone else around. Again, there were none. She turned her keen nose to the wind, but smelt only the grass and the trees and the small things that hid in the bushes.
She was completely alone.
The girl sat there for a while, crossing her legs and hunching over in an attempt to keep herself warm, racking her brain to figure out where she was and why she was there. Nothing came to her but a single word. Renovamen.
Alright then, she thought, that's my name.
Renovamen. She liked it, a smile splitting the otherwise gaunt and sharp face.
Next was to find clothing. She stood up gracefully, grey tail swishing slowly behind her. One grey ear pricked forwards as she caught the sound of something scuffling in the undergrowth. The child let instincts take over, and crouched down, stalking silently forwards. She leapt on the small thing, efficiently strangling it. It was a rabbit. She used her sharp claws and teeth to skin it, putting the meat aside for a meal later, and sewing the dark fur into something resembling a tabbard. Then, she ate.

Having difficulty sleeping, Melora decided to go for a walk. The fresh air would probably do her some good. Maybe she could do a bit of late night hunting. she rose from her bed and left her room as quietly as possible, avoiding the few squeaky spots on the floor. She stopped at the front door to listen for movement. Silence.
She left the scale quickly so as not to risk waking anybody and headed north, in the direction of the Whelplings. She didn't usually walk that way when she went for late night walks ike this, but for some reason she felt like changing it up tonight; something was drawing her in that direction.
Melora walked for a while, but she was too distracted with her own thoughts to know exactly how long. She eventually came to a wooded area, and it was then that something caught her attention. Not a sound, but smell. Though she did not travel this way often, Melora still knew the smells of the different forests in this town. This new scent was different, and it stood out among the trees and grass. A human would not have been able to to sense anything different, but her heightened wolf senses allowed Melora to smell something, or someone, new.
Whatever this strange scent was, it was coming from deep in the trees, so as silently as she could, Melora ventured into the forest to investigate. all of her senses were on high alert now; she wouldn't be able to sleep until this mystery was solved.

Humid today..even misty on this night yet peaceful. Ryo had secretly returned to the Dark Temple to grab some books that he needed from its library. No one would be expected near this area or at least he thought so when he caught a whiff of two Wildgardians. And one of them he remembered being the blond wolf from the Scale when he first arrived in Wildgard. Close to him the Anarchist followed him through the misty woods, scouting and ranging through the unknown land to familiarize with his playground to be.
Cloaked with his hood he made his way towards her with a smile across his face, both were silent on their feet and quickly Ryo's eyes glew purple n his smile sewed by purple strings. The glow gave Ryo a death like skeletal image as he walked by trees. Eventually he stood before the two, the Anarchist of 11 years old beside him giggling like a child, Ryo's voice echoing in the heads of the two kintus:
"Well, what a delightful surprise!"

The child stopped eating, her ears pricking as she heard movement in the woods. Bigger movement, larger movement. She put the rabbit carcass down and wiped the blood of her nose and mouth with her arm. As the occasional crack of twig and crunch of leaf underfoot grew closer, she stood, hunching her shoulders defensively and curling her tail close around her legs. There were two sets of noises, she realized, as a yellow wolf moved into view. On reflex, she gasped, startled.
The scent flooded her nose. Wolf. Different. Strange.
Not her pack.
The girl started growling, low under her breath.
Shortly after she spotted the wolf, another showed itself too. Not a wolf though, this one was standing upright with a hood over his (yes, this one was male) face and a small child by his feet. Renovamen was already feeling cornered, never mind when the new one spoke. The words resonated in her head, yet she heard nothing with her ears. She crouched lower to the ground, unsure if attacking was the best option; her hands and feet grew to paws, her head becoming more wolf shaped, as did her body. The wolf pup backed up on unsteady legs, the change startling her.
She kept her body low to the ground in a crouch, prepared to either spring up at the newcomers and the strange wolf or to run away. Whichever option was best, that the child didn't yet know. Her tail remained still in the grass, her ears flattened against her grey fur, showing a small hint of bared teeth, and growling. They didn't seem on the offensive yet, so for now she would wait.
The girl would admit that this form felt easier. Her instincts came more naturally, and her balance was better.

Melora followed her nose through the trees, eventually coming to a small clearing in which she found the source of the new smell. No wonder she had picked up the scent. It was a wolf. By the small size and the uncertainty in it's eyes, she guessed that the wolf was only a child. Melora saw the child step back into a defensive stance, and looking around, she saw why. Two others were watching the wolf child from the other side of the trees. She recognized one as Ryo, but did not know the smaller one at his feet. why was Ryo here; hadn't he left? Melora got a very bad feeling and suddenly felt very protective of the small wolf child, who was in a crouched position and clearly either scared or unsure; probably both. Without taking time to think about it, Melora (still in her own wolf form) walked slowly toward the wolf child. Something about this child reminded her of herself as a child, lost in a strange place and terrified. She stopped a short distance away facing the other two, blocking the child from their view.

It was then that Ryo noted the youthful looks of the wolf behind Melora, a child. He couldn't be that cruel to a child when he had been alone for half his. No, not this kind of assassin. But the Scale that was another story, this time it was all about intimidation, from his sown lips he spoke in a glacial voice:
"The child won't die, but you Scale member will not return home in the same conditions I fear."
At his feet the Anarchist's smile was wide with pleasure, the word Scale and Member were all he needed to start some fun. He wiggled on the spot laughing softly his sweet voice was excited:
"Daddy can we please play now? Please??"
Ryo's smile was fatherly and happy, he just had to make sure that the child wolf wasn't injured:
"Of course, just only hurt the blond wolf. Remember what daddy told you."
The Anarchist summoned in his hand one lightning bolt giggling as if the shocks were tickling, a grim empty look of bloodlust and amusment crept upon the 11 year old's face. No regrets or sign of future ones. Just empty bloodlust and child innocence.

Reno backed up and crouched lower as the strange wolf came closer. She side stepped when the stranger stepped between her and the other two, wanting to keep all possible threats in her view. She flinched back as the male spoke again, expecting that odd resonance in her head. It never came; he spoke from his mouth.
The child bared her teeth further, growling louder. The other small one spoke too, and electric light appeared in his hand. Reno stopped, tilting her head curiously. That was definitely new; she could feel electricity sparking through her fur.
She backed up farther into the trees, soft paws crunching the leaves underfoot. Her belly fur was scraping through the grass, the wolf trying to make herself as small as possible in hopes that the strangers would leave her alone. Or that the one with lightening wouldn't turn it on her.

Melora could hear the soft crunching of the leaves behind her as the wolf child backed farther away, but her eyes stayed on the two in front of her. She was going to ask Ryo why he was doing this, but something he said stuck in her mind. "The child won't die, but you Scale member..." She knew that Ryo had been working with Synaria, and she was the only one Melora knew that had a vengeance that strong against the Scale. Regardless of who he was working with however, Melora knew she didn't have time to investigate. If she didn't get out of here quickly, the little ball of lightning would fry her to a crisp; and she didn't trust that Ryo wouldnt hurt the child behind her. She had to think of an escape plan, and fast.

Motherly instincts is what Ryo saw before him, a miracle of the human mind, the wolf child visibly scared to death when Ryo promised to not harm him, seemed close to running away. Ryo hesitated much to the Anarchist's displeasure, he put a hand upon the child's shoulder:
"Swift; travel through the aether."
The Anarchist vanished away leaving Ryo facing Melora and the other kintu before him. Ryo took off his hood revealing his silver horns gleaming. His eyes now back to fuscia were cold yet calm and in pain, Ryo spoke at last from his normal self:
"You seem very surprised by my recent actions Scale member. Can you blame a man that is in love to vow revenge upon those who tortured the women for him? I have been stripped of my channel, home and loved ones Scale member. I will not lose it all again so unfairly."
Ryo's eyes were filled with anger and sadness that he didn't care to show

Reno paused, head tilting in curiosity as the other male vanished from sight. Her attention, however, was quickly brought back to the present before she could mull it over too much. The man took off his hood. Underneath was a set of horns, far from what Reno was expecting; although she was quickly learning that the place she had ended up in was stranger even than she had thought. Even taking into account her arrival here.
The man was speaking again, words that Reno only barely understood. Some she knew better than others, an intrinsic knowledge of what they meant. Others, though, the child had no context in order to compare them with. Words of 'scales' and 'channels' only confused her further.
Both figures still here still appeared hostile, and Reno tensed her legs in preparation to spring away and start running if fighting broke out. Her instincts dictated her actions here, and Reno was much inclined to agree with them.

She could see the emotion, mostly anger, behind Ryo's eyes. If she stayed silent, Ryo would only get angrier. So she quickly changed to human form so as to speak to the demon. Melora also wanted to help the child that was still hidden behind her. Knowing she didnt have a lot of time, she knelt down and turned enough t see the child, but still kept an eye on Ryo. In a quiet voice, she spoke to the other wolf.
"I know you are probably scared, but I want to help you; and you dont know these woods like I do. We wont have much time, but it will have to be enough. When I shift back, I am going to run south. You can follow me if you want, or you can jump on my back and I will take you with me. Either way, I can only guarantee your safety if you come with me. I wont make you follow me, and if you choose to run the other way, thats okay. But if he picks up your scent, I dont know if you will be able to outrun him; and I dont trust that he wont hurt you. If you choose to follow me, I will protect you; I promise. The spell I am going to use will only hold him for a minute, so decide quick."
With that said, Melora stood up; she hoped the young wolf was able to understand at least some of what she said. She then turned back to face Ryo. "I don't particularly care why you are here, or who sent you. And I dont trust you in the slightest. But I will tell you this: if you come anywhere near the Scale, near my family, or anyone else I care about, I will personally see to it that it is the last threat you ever make."
Pointing at Ryo Melora quickly uttered the spell: I command thee to stop, I command thee to stop, I command thee to stop.
The second she finished speaking, she shifted. Sparing one last glance at the child, and pointing her nose south to show the other wolf which direction to go, Melora started running. She hoped the child would follow her; she didn't want to know what Ryo would do if the girl stayed behind.

Ryo stayed in place unphased by Melora's threats, too much had happened and he was already too deep in shit to start playing feelings again at this rate:
"I don't care for the child, I'm after the Scale not some random kintu stuck in what seems to be their wolf form. My rage is targeting you and the Scale Melora."
Ryo's eyes glew purple again as his voice spoke within the child's mind:
"Fear me not young wolf, you bear the scent of my loved one Synaria. I am Ryo Lie Ren Gamkara, in case you were wondering I am a greater demon. Come with me, come with me and my son and fight by our side against the Scale, against 'them' she isn't trustworthy please believe me yet the choice will remain yours."
Ryo felt the spell finally release yet he didn't budge, there was no reason for him to get physical unless Melora would strike first. He saw Melora run away, a smirk on his face, he already had picked up both scents yet he let her be, after all there are much more to be done.
'To think I wanted to ally with them, and now they are my worst enemies..how I wish Wise and the others would be by my side right now. In the mean time, to ready up my son for our next plan.'

Reno stopped still, watching the blond wolf transform into a human. Huh, so there was more like her here. That, at the very least, was good news. The now blond haired human turned to speak to her. Reno flinched backwards and growled at the strange wolf. Human or no, the wolf was still a strange one and these forests still seemed to be already claimed. Her instincts screamed that she was in hostile territory.
Then, the horned man spoke at her too. Both spoke unfamiliar words, or words Reno did not trust.
The woman ran as a wolf, and, making her decision, Reno ran too.
Away from the strange wolf, and away from the strange man. Hopefully, away from all this strangeness Reno had found herself woken up into.
(Ryo and Melora, if you guys still wanna rp here that's fine or if you wanna track Reno that's fine to, but otherwise she's out)
