Star groaned as she went over the papers that littered her bed, the floor, and the one sheet that actually stayed on the dresser. Her room was nice and easy to maneuver around but she needed out, she needed food, water and maybe some more sleep. She hadn't left her room since Ashen, Jay and herself had gotten back from their trip... her mind was still racing about it. She had physically seen and talked to Vija again, it had been hard the past couple months without her and seeing her again took it's toll as expected.
Star hid in her room letting everything pile up, her mind still racing as Alex took over slowly. He was slowly taking over and it was starting to show, her eyes would change to blue more often and stay that color, her writing was getting messy and everything unorganized, Alex would be able to come out more and she wouldn't be able to control it, she was losing herself to a spirit that wasn't even there.
Her eye color changed to blue in a moments time and in a swift movement she pulled the blanket off the bed, removing the papers with it. She pulled books that she had written in off the shelves and ripped pages out. Next was the desk, she looked it over, throwing the lantern onto the floor and listening to it shatter along with the papers and her prized possessions that now lay on the floor.
Her room was even more of a mess.
As she looked around, tears slowly fell from her eyes as they changed back. Alex had been taking over more and more, getting stronger each time and the only way to keep everyone safe was to lock herself away in her room. She hated the feeling of being trapped but she could handle it, Alex on the other hand couldn't. It wasn't the first time that he had thrown a fit but it was never this bad.
She let herself slide down the wall as she sat in the corner of her room, still looking at everything around her, the mess that she had created inside the room.

As ashen continued to prepare and assess a shipment of furs someone had order from her house, she heard a noise coming from star's room. Raising and eyebrow while pondering she set the fur she was inspecting and walked over to the room.
The door was locked, this she knew and didn't bother wasting time with the handle. Instead she placed her ear on the door listening in. It seemed star was moving papers and books around rather quickly. This was abnormal, she rarely made a peep unless she needed food which ashen would bring and set outside the door only to have it vanish when she turned her back.
When the noise stopped, she pressed her ear harder on the door trying her best to keep listen to the now again silent room.

A small brownie peeped around the corner at Ashen. Out of habit, Chimaera attempted to stay hidden, even though they knew Ashen wouldn't be able to see them. She might be able to detect them though, if they weren't careful to stay quiet. Even the 'invisible' could be seen if one was trained in what to look for. Ashen wasn't holding a food tray though, and Chimaera wondered if they would still have an opportunity to get into Starfire's room. They had only been in there once before, as a brownie of course. They were curiuos about the girl, and wanted to help her. She was obviously distressed, and her room was really, really messy. Though it probably wouldn't do much, the plan was to sneak in unnoticed, tidy up things a little, mainly stuff that was hazardous. Nothing too much because it would be too obvious. Really, just anything broken, or dangerous, that was lying around. Chimaera eyed up the crack in the door, waiting for an opportunity...

She sat in the corner quietly, Alex in her head screaming. He had already stabbed her so if it were to happen again it wouldn't be anything new. She looked over at the door, hearing the someone outside the door. Either it was Ashen with food or someone just walking by. In hopes of it being food she got up and went over to her door, reaching to open it but stopped.
'Where do you think you're going?'
"Am I not allowed to eat? Am I not allowed outside my room? Are you going to take over just to stop me from the simplicity of living?!" Her voice got louder as she took a few steps back not realizing where she was stepping she ended up stepping on the glass from the lantern. She gasped as she moved over to her bed, sitting down and looking at her foot. The glass had gone pretty deep as she watched it bleed. "Fuck.. Fuck.. Fuck.."
"Ash-!"
'What the hell do you think you're doing you stupid child!? They don't care. Nobody's going to come and save you! You're on your own! You're pathetic! Alone! Not a single soul would try to save you if you were at risk of dying! The lies these people tell you just to keep you happy! It's kinda funny! And pathetic but what're you gunna do about it.'
She looked down, covering her mouth with his hand, tears spilling from her eyes slowly. Star knew that he was right, nobody really cared. Nobody would try to save her or help her. She was alone.. Always alone..

Ashen's ear twitched hearing the noises from the room, feeling a slight rush of adrenaline as the smell of blood hit her nose, she turned the knob and walked in.
"Star, what's going on in here? Are you alright?" Ashen looked around seeing the room in total chaos. "What the fu---" ashen's curious and confused gaze turned to star who was crying.
"Where are you hurt?" Ashen walked over ready to healer her if she needed, however she wiped the tears from her cheeks, and hugged her. Looking around she noticed the glass on the floor. Blood trailing to stars foot.
Slowly ashen moved toward starfires foot, checking and removing the glass then placeing her hand very carefully on wound, she began to concentrate on a heal spell, she sealed the wound. Returning her arms around star.

While Starfire and Ashen were distracted, Chimaera saw their opportunity. Quickly, the glass was pusshed out of the room and under the hallway carpet. Doing their best to stay silent, the little brownie hid away the dangerous shards so that they could come back to clean it all up in a few minutes. Back into the room he scampered, and ran under the bed. There, Chimaera transformed into a fairy. From under the bed, she focused on Starfire. She found that certain magical creatures helped her be more adept with magic than others. She reached toward Starfire's leg, taking the slightest bit of fabric into her tiny hand, being careful to not pull. Closing her eyes, Chimaera then focused on the bardic spell of 'Sleep'. However, she didn't say the incant, and didn't fully cast the spell. Hopefully, teh magic would just just enough power to help calm Starfire, and put her into a drowsiness...

Star watched Ashen carefully, seeing how quickly she set to work on helping Star but what Alex had said, was he right?
'She's only doing it cause she feels bad. She's crazy just like you, just like everyone in this house, nobody's going to help you, they're just going to make it worse. They're going to make me louder, me stronger. One day i'll take over you and they'll all be-'
"Alex, Stop." She said out loud, her hand going up to her head as she closed her eyes. Ashen knew that Alex was powerful and could cause Star pain but the amount of pain he was causing her was something unreal, something she'd never felt before. She opened her eyes and he quieted down but she looked at Ashen as her own breathing seemed to calm. The tears stopping and everything changing.
The room felt cold but with the heal spell finished and her foot healed she could no longer hear him scream.. maybe it wasn't the room going cold but it was her. She felt calm and everything was peaceful, her mind not rushing or causing her any pain.

"Alex bothering you again?" Ashen asked looking up at star, place ing her hand on starfires shoulder, she felt cold. Taking the shawl around her waist and warping it around the little scouts shoulders.
"I swear I'll figure out how to silence him for good..." She muttered lineing up the shawl properly.
"What triggered it do you know? Come on let's get to the bonfire your freezing, watch out for the glas-...where did the glass go?!" Ashen claimed looked around slightly confused as she stood, Continueing to help starfire rise to her feet.

The teeny little fairy daintily stepped back, and watched proudly as the two figures rose to their feet and started to move away from the bed. Her pretty little face was framed with silvery curls, that fluttered in the breeze created by her gently flapping wings. Then, at Ashen's comment about the glass, the fairy's mouth split into a smile. Rows of needle sharp teeth lined her jaw, and made the grin a grotesque, terrifying sight... though not for lack being heartfelt.
Flitting out from under the bed, Chimaera darted as fast as she could to the bookshelf, hiding behind a few books that were still there. The angle was much better for watching the scene unfold. She wanted to be ready in case her magic was needed again.

Felicise had heard commotion from the fireplace where he was writing within his Book of Shadows, Payton had fallen asleep on his lap as he usually did after a long day of patrolling around the city and forest. Felicise had thought that for a moment it was simply a brotherly fight between the two brothers, but the sudden silence and the faint voices of Ashen and Starfire had given a sort of alert to Felicise's ears. Slowly and gently, Felicise placed Payton's head on a pillow while he headed to Starfire's room. A moment and he was Starfire in tears and Ashen with a worried energy and aura:
"Is everything alright Lady Ashen?"
It wasn't within his habit of calling Ashen "Lady Ashen" but since he was a member of the Scale and no longer a prince, he felt the need to be respectful and call Ashen so as a mark of respect towards her. An instant of silence, awaiting Ashen's response.
