Under the Cover of the Pan'ti trees, Ursarius and her small army camped. Herself and Five other Bears settled in for the Night, staring at eachother wordlessly. Billy Sat with his three Sons and 8-Ball the Gargoyle roamed somewhere nearby. Ursa had caused enough of a disturbance in town that she had scared herself off into the woods. She was beginning to lose control of her actions. 'What am I even doing?' She Questioned. Staring into nothingness, chest rising and falling, clouds of breath dispersing into the night. Her Brother Grizzly sat not too far off with the one and only torch they had, twirling smoke into the leaves above them. 'I have to get away from them, I have to find Starfire.' Her Mind leading her back to the arrows in the Darkness, 'Starfire understands.'
She pushed herself away from the Tree and stood on her haunches, "Markkus, Marzaeus, You two Guard the entrance to Enthome- One at the watering hole, and the other at Home Tree. Billy, and My young Princes stay here and hold Down the Location. NO one is going to mess with a group of Bears." Billy Stood, his eyebrows drawn together in a wicked glare. "What about you? My Wife. I'm not letting you leave." He said, constantly suspicious of Ursa. "You almost got all of us Killed. Queen." He cooed mockingly. Ursa gave him one of her 'Don't Start' looks and sighed. "I'm going to find that Strange Bear. Says he's an Elder." Billy scrunched up his face. "The Small one?" And his Wife nodded. "What about that Other Bear? The Warrior." "You ask too many Questions" She replied, waving off her Brothers, who ducked under some low hanging branches and disappeared into the darkness. "If I can find them, I'll know what to say when the time comes... I hope." She began to walk off, hoping he'd let it be, but He never seemed to want to let her out of his sight, something about being locked up in a Dungeon and beaten by her brothers and father. made him seem somewhat fragile. She felt a pang of Guilt, glancing past him to her Boys. "They need their Father to keep them safe." "They Need their Mother Ursa." He called back to her as she wandered out into the forest again, "How would I know how to Raise Bears?" The Queen held her breathe, for fear of breathing regret. Hanging her head low, she left the radius of the Torch flame, relying only on her senses from then on out.
'Where to first? Let my instincts Guide me...'

Starfire sat on the ground letting out a loud sigh the thoughts and memories of today rushed into her head. 'It was a dream... I didn't really see Ursa..... I didn't try to kill her and Billy wasn't there... It was all a dream..' She continued to try and deny everything but she knew it was true. Everything she didn't want to happen.... Happened. One thing she notice though was the look that Ursa gave her, it almost look like she was asking to die..
Star felt a sharp pain in her chest, she reeached for Syn's channel that hung around her neck. "I'm here alright..." The pain parshly went away but the feeling lingered. Just above the channel was her own, the bear claw. The only item she dare carry with her anymore, everything had just become to much.

Finding the trail rather difficult to navigate, the Night was pitch dark and the only torch she had was left behind with the other Bears. 'it's a good thing I spent a Year wandering around in these woods... I might not be able to get lost, but that doesn't help in the dark.' She thought about all the times she had to make it through the woods while she was blind. 'I did it once, I can do it a thousand times. Only then I had three sets of Eyes to help me see...' She looked over her shoulder and through the almost bare trees, she could see the light from the Torch burning. Knowing that the Bears would come looking for her if she didn't return soon, she hurried her foot steps until she found the Road splitting the forest in two. The leaves Lightly crunched under her large paws as she crept along deep in thought.

Hearing the foot steps Starfire got a little startled but ignored it. The darkness didn't affect her honestly she didn't care for it. The zombie thing did though. Letting out a deep sigh she stood up and looked around seeing Ursa she stayed quiet but couldn't help but say something. "Hi.." She whispered.

Ursa stopped, dead in her tracks, 'There she is, somehow I knew I would find her... I didn't think it would be this easy...' she didn't say anything, just stood there staring at her for a moment. Though Starfire had spent the better part of the night trying to kill Ursa, she felt oddly comfortable standing there. So the Bear smiled and shifted into Human Form. Her hair was long and wavy framing her face and She was wearing a beautiful green tunic made of some expensive silky material, Her armors and a royal-looking scarf and a Crown made of leather. Nothing like what Ursa's Human shift normally looked like. Everything was different, but right at that moment she seemed like the same old Bear. She took a few steps toward Starfire sitting at the tree and calmly sat beside her. Looking over at Star, she wanted to comfort her, but couldn't think of anything to say. She wasn't even sure if she should, she was a Half-demon now. Obviously Evil. But Ursa still didn't believe that it was too late. She thought back to what Billy said. 'Why is it that you are STILL willing to defend Starfire and give her so many chances but your Only Daughter messes up once and you disown her?!' Ursa felt her heart sink. Billy had asked an amazingly important question. Why is She the only one who can go and do all these horrible things and become half Demon, and Ursa still couldn't hate her. Why is Urstrid so terrible for selling her Soul? at Least she was still Bear... for now. Ursa stayed quiet but glanced to Star every few seconds. Wishing she would say something.

Starfire looked down feeling waves of guilt hit her by the second. She wanted to say so much but she couldn't. She didn't know what exactly was important to say at a time like this. "I-I'm sorry. I screwed up. Again." She sighed as she fiddeled with her hands in her lap. "I went to Destael amd that was wrong but honestly, I don't care for the power or the Demon plane, I don't even really use any of the magic not that i'm strong enough to use it. But I haven't done anything really terrible. Thistle has stopped me from doing a lot of stupid things lately and now that i'm "working" under the church I'm helping by taking him back there with me so that he can see what its like." Star said. Her mind continued to race, there was so much more that could be said. "But in the end, I'm Sorry..." She turned to Ursa looking at her. She missed just being able to sit down and have a conversation without being hunted. "Honestly, If I didn't care anymore.... Wouldn't you think I would have taken this off." She said quietly before pulling out the bear claw.

Ursa sighed, catching a glimpse of guilt in Starfire, Sorrow. It had always been there. Ever since the first day She met the Blind Bear in these very woods. That Look in Starfire's eyes, a Dull sparkle... mischievious but full of worry... Ursa tried to smile but she could feel the need to choke back tears, so she nodded, looking down at the ground for a moment. She couldn't even say 'Star, you didn't screw up, it's alright.' but... that wasn't the truth. As a Scout, A Friend, and a Queen, she couldn't lie to someone she cared about. She thought about Star not using any of the Demon Powers, and that was good, but it was the same say she had never seen Star in Lythari form, she never used any of those powers either. It was like she kept trying to find new ways to piss Ursa off, new ways to be bad, or evil, new ways to hurt people. The Bear thought back to 8-Ball's Gargoyle reptilian curse. How Ursa had tried to save Starfire with the Cure, but Star would only take the cure if Thoror and Thistle got it too. The Bear Smiled.
"All the times I told you, you were too stubborn. I always said you were more and more like a Bear. You still fight like me, and you still wear the Claw." She said, holding up her scarred finger. There was a fingernail there now, and a claw in bear form, but the scar would always stay there. Somethings the White light or even resurrection can't erase. "I miss you Star. I really do. And If It wasn't for Billy, I'd be around to talk to more often. But... you know how he is. He's Mad at me because I disowned Urstrid..."

She scoffed slightly looking away. "Urstrid... I understand why you did. She got on my nerves so fast...." She glanced back at Ursa. "I'm sorry. I really am." Starfire turned back slightly and wrapped her arms around her neck giving her a hug. "You've guided me so far. I've fallen. The only reason why I went to Mulds and Desteal was because I was looking for guidence. The guidence that you gave me. Desteal... She was actually really nice I got to know her and now she's back but Human, i'm protecting her now. Just like I did for you." She whispered pulling back. A tear threatened to stream down her cheek.
"I'm sorry."

Ursa's pearly white teeth appeared as her jaw dropped open, Slowly bringing her Arms up to return Starfire's Hug. "I Just wanted you to be okay. I never gave up on you... I hope you know that." her chest was tight and she could hardly breathe, or maybe it was just the strength of Star's Bear hug. "I'm calling off my war, on the Demons. At least for now. I came here in hopes of ending it all...Ending my Life..." She took a deep breath to steady her nerves. "Destael took you from me. And I don't know if I can ever forgive her for that... But I know she's not a Demon anymore. She's not my Enemy..." Starfire released from her hug and Ursa took a moment to look deep into her eyes. "I'm Glad you've found some sort of calling... Destael will probably need the protection at least for now. I Think i'm going back to Sylver. If I can find him. He still needs that Warrior Bear he used to be so fond of. Maybe I can continue to fight for what I believe in, Instead of throwing it all away." Ursa's heart was breaking again, seeing the tears forming in star's eyes. "..But don't be sorry, you're still the most important person in my life."

High up above in the trees, there was a crackling of breaking twigs, and the branches creaked as they shifted. A few of the very last leaves were shaken from were they clung, and drifted down to the scouts sitting below. Slowly, the lumpy shadow above them descended into sight, the blond flare on his chest and face first, and then black shining eyes peering out of the darkness. At the lowest hanging branch, Ukuko wrapped his front paws around it and settled down, almost cat-like in the way he perched. "Greetings Queen Ursarius. Sorry if I'm interrupting something... I guess I chose the wrong tree to spend a night." His voice was low and much more serious than it usually was, though mood was not negative. Then, he let his rear legs slide sideways, and used his front paws to let him self hang from underneath the branch for a moment, before landing on the ground. His sloping shoulders took the impact of the short fall, and he shook any remaining leaves and twigs out of his coat. The bear turned back towards the pair, staring for a moment, before slowly bowing his head.
"Truly, my respects."

Ursa was startled by the sound and falling leaves from above her. Shielding her eyes from twig shrapnel she peered into the night, Getting up and gently pulling Starfire away from the base of the tree. "Who's - there?" It started more threatening, and faded into a question. Slowly the strange bear came into view, clumsily. Or so it would seem. Ursa crossed her arms over her chest in the way she often did as a Bear. "It's that strange Bear again." She mumbled, so only Star could Hear. When the Bear stood, he was still smaller than Ursa and Starfire in Human form, Ursa opened her Mouth to speak and he cut her off with his respects.
Exchanging Glances with the Other Scout, Ursa was not only caught off guard, but slightly embarrassed. "Ukuko, right?" She blushed. "I wasn't aware you were up there, sleeping. I... A-apologize." She nodded briskly, trying to regain her composure, glancing at Starfire, and then at her Horns. 'Great, this is just great, How Am I supposed to explain to an Elder that I'd rather be sitting in the Dark Dangerous forests Alone with a Half-Demon?'

Starfire stayed quiet as she watched the tiny bear fall from thw tree, It made her giggle. Starfire gripped the edges of her cloak and pulled it over her chest trying to keep warm. Watching as the two talked she took a couple steps back. "I should get going... Church things." She whispered.

A kindly smile spread awkwardly across the bear's muzzle; The white teeth would look daunting if the emotion didn't also reach his eyes. "No, it's perfectly alright. I'm not quite used to the cold here, so I was already awake." Intently, he studied the scout standing behind the bear as she began to retreat. What he'd gathered so far, was that she was a half-demon, though only recently. And that she has been affiliated with the church. And yet, that wasn't nearly enough information to understand the girl. Which, of course, was important if he wanted to understand the Queen of Ursus Dauntamontis. Ukuko knew that he should be keeping more in contact with the bear's own Elders, and yet he felt as though being here beside her, very much in person, was the better position.
His eyes glittered, the conversation he'd just heard snippets of still alive in his mind, and he spoke to the one named Starfire. "...Only one bear you like to keep company, then? I assure you, I'm becoming quite good pals with the Queenie here! No need to leave in a rush." he said, a laughing tone colouring his voice. He came across very differently now, the 'serious Elder' seemingly entirely gone from his character.

Ursa cleared her throat as Ukuko fixed his eyes on Starfire. "I-" She raised a hand to stop him, but for some reason the circumstances of the current situation left her dumbfounded. She turned to face Star as she whispered in her ear. "No Wait-" She whispered, turning in a complete circle not entirely sure who she wanted to be addressing. She HAD been looking for Ukuko or Starfire, whichever she happened across first, but she didn't imagine she'd find them both in the same place. It was a strange situation to be caught in. No Matter how much time she got to spend comfortably with Starfire it never seemed to be enough time to simply talk. About anything that happened. She got that feeling that they would never get down to the Bottom of things. Her with the Church, And Ursa with her Family. She frowned. Catching Starfire's eyes. She knew that she of all people could Understand her no matter how complicated things got, Even if they never said a word.
'Alright Fine.' Ursa huffed. '..but I wish you wouldn't leave. I guess it's better this way, who knows when Billy or the other Bears will find us.'
She finally faced Ukuko. "She has Business... elsewhere, I'm sure there are significant enough reasons to draw her away." She nodded, not taking another Glance behind her she spoke in a hushed voice. "...Be Careful Star."
