Thea took the elf she had once despised and held him. She held him close and cried into his shoulder. He was here, he was back at last. "You are the Faljere I knew," She looked at his face. "I see it in your eyes, its in your heart!" Thea's face was torn between joy for Faljere's and grief for Idina. She had no idea what horrors he had faced when he was away. If his state of mind was being questioned, that was bad indeed. She could tell he needed help, help she knew she couldn't give. Support was all she had.
"Do you have a place to stay?" She inquired, wiping her tear stained face will her sleeve.

That name that she spoke.
Rather, the way she spoke it. It brought him discomfort; clearly, he wasn't used to that title as he once was, and although he was completely ready for it to continue being his identity, it would take some getting used to. Her voice was full of energy and excitement, which he assumed was because she hadn't seen him for too long. But still, it caused him unease.
When Thea spoke about a place to stay, the elf monk shook his head. "I can't show my face in the city. If not for the reasons of me being a technical fugitive, both because of my recent curse and the Raven still searching for me, then the reason is because I cannot let anyone else know who the Clanless is, or that he has returned."
He hung his head, and when he raised it again, the first sign of his new self appeared: massive, green puppy-dog eyes. "I was hoping that I could reside here until such a time where I can face my foe properly. For that, I'll need all the information I can get. But until then...I must remain in secret, here. Please."

"If you wish to kill the Raven, then I would be more then happy to help you in any way I can." Thea started, more solemn then before. "Though I have never seen this Raven, I have heard so many rumours." Thea was certain that the Raven had a part in killing Idina, the Raven and that minister. The minister she had almost slain. The one live she had almost taken, since she was 11 years old.
"I can put you on the third floor, very few people go there. I hardly do." Thea stood, gesturing for Faljere to follow her. She started towards the stairs.

Faljere shook his head. Thoughts were going through his mind that contradicted each-other, every different Faljere of days past thinking a different thing. If this were to be his new thought process, with at least six opinions to take into consideration, then his future was going to be very hard indeed. Part of him wanted the Raven dead, his head on a pike for all to see. A pike that he held in his own trembling, bloodied hands. And yet another part of him thought it best to keep him alive; after all, vengeance only bred more hatred, and for the circle of hate to continue rather than finally be broken would make the monk absolutely miserable.
But perhaps there was more to killing him than just vengance. He'd wrong more than just the elf in his time, and by God, he knew that he was surely not the first, and that there were others before him. The pain still remained, however, in his heart. The torment of having had the opportunity to bring this man down years ago and not being able to. Added to that the Raven's personal grudge against him, and death would seem to be the only logical outcome.
Faljere still disagreed. "The Raven will not die yet," he told Thea as he climbed the stairs. "We must be patient. Figure out how he's operating, and who with, and most importantly why he's even here. But...that is why we need information."
He stopped in his step and looked at her. "Might you be able to bring me some tea?"

Thea listened to the elf monk intently. "I agree to what you say about the Raven. As much of me hates him and would slit his throat where he stands, he must die at the right time. We need to know who his allies are so they to can be eliminated." Thea said this with a venom in her voice that only hatred brings out in young women. "In regards to tea, I guess if you want some we should do that first. Sorry," she said apologetically. Switching directions she walked past Faljere down the stairs, at least they weren't all the way at the top yet, she thought. "What kind do you want?" The druid turned towards the kitchen.

"Any tea shall suffice," he told his friend as he continued up the steps. "So long as it isn't cold by the time it arrives to me, I shall drink it."
It was strange to him, asking for tea. Such a luxury he found it, to drink tea once more. His mouth was dry ever since his quest with Idina, and his life void of any luxuries like home, comfort, food...
His life had also been void of most necessities to the point where he found himself wielding only a dagger shorter than his own arm and an ungainly claymore that he hadn't quite found the opportunity to wash in some time.
This was not his weapon of choice. Far too cumbersome for his likes, and yet part of him felt it was just right. The confusion of being too many Faljeres at once made his mind itself tremble, and he sat upon the wooden stairs, just hoping that tea would soothe his misaligned thoughts.
"Claymore, or no claymore," he repeated as he cradled his crown.
