Jay looked at where Fallen's voice was coming from and tried to smile. "Mama's right papa. You can join us, we were just wrapping up." He said before turning to his mama to continue speaking. "Also you aren't easily replaced mama. You were the the first one other then my sister to love me." He said to her, frowning as he did.

Fallen stayed silent, not moving and wishing he would just fade into the shadows. He couldn't bring himself to join them by the fire... to join them as if he were part of their family. Up until just a little while ago Ashen had be dead and gone because she'd entrusted her soul to someone who couldn't protect her. To someone who had failed her. It was just an accident that she had been brought back. A fluke accident.
That was the weight that he had to bare now. Knowing that he couldn't ever live that down. While at the same time knowing that he couldn't live without her. This was the clarity that a new day brought to him. After the initial joy of the moment had left and he had fallen asleep by her side, reality and guilt seemed to sink in. He felt like it was tearing him apart and in that moment he wished that he hadn't woken up at all.
If he hadn't spent all of the tears he had in him during the seemingly endless hours that Ashen had been dead, they may have started falling now. Instead, he just lowered his head to bury his face in his knees, drawing his legs closer to him. Shutting his eyes he hoped the both of them would just leave him be until the guilt and horror of what he'd done passed.

"And I will always so you love, so long as you show it to me." Ashen smiled while listening, she didn't hear fallen shift. Meaning he remained where he was. She turned her gaze to jay once more, with a slight nod she stood slowly. Her balance was still trying to return to her as she rose. Slowly she turned and began to walk to the stairs, where she heard him.
She stood before him, she saw him curled like jay once was when she first found him. Curled up and afraid of the world around him, punishing him for deeds he didn't do. Ashen went to speak but stopped herself, only to kneel down, lowering herself and her gaze to see him.
She kept herself lower then him, so she was in his view. Slowly she moved her hands up to his knees and touching them. His skin felt like fire agianst gets. However she kept herself low, trying to show him that she would lower herself if he shunned his gaze to the world, trying to show him there was something still to look up to. She still tried to understand why Fallen held her so dear , she still believed she was easily replaced.

Jay nodded back at Ashen before looking back at the flames of the fire. As much as he wanted to go with her he thought it would be best if only Ashen approached Fallen. His papa most likely needed her more then he himself did anyways. Pulling the fur Ashen gave him more tightly around himself, even with the fire it was chilly. "Go to bed and warm up mama. I'll be fine" he said just loud enough that he knew both Ashen and Fallen would hear his words.

"thank you Son, if you need me you will know where i will be, please dont hesitate to come get me. i love you." she spoke softly but loud enough for him to hear as she looked at him, turning back to look at fallen she knew he needed her. standing with with a slightly unbalanced stance she rest her hands on Fallen shoulders gently coaxing him to get up. "come Fallen, lets go rest then. looks like you need it" She smiled and giggle slightly trying very hard to releave the tension, a lock of hair falling on her face as she smiled at him. she looked and felt so tired, it still felt like her limps where moving threw tar. she needed to rest agian, and she hated not having energy to do things as she normally did.
