Landing a safe distance away, Thistle took a brief respite. "Where did I learn how to fight? . My life has been a never-ending crisis or of some sort or another, and there always comes a time when you must either learn to kill, or be killed. I've fought Monsters, dragons, demons, geants, undead, ghosts, elementals, even angels..." Trailing off, he decided to do something about the strange elf that had been observing them. Without turning around, he called out " Elf! Are you going to come introduce yourself, or are you content to be a stranger on the fringes?"

"Elf!"
The words rung out all over the city, yelled in utmost frustration, causing the wood elf of Briton to turn his head as he entered the arena. Were they directed at him? No...
In the arena, two fought: the first was hooded, and had no identity which Faljere recognized, let alone could make out. The other was none other than the fuming monk Thistle, standing a length away, seemingly defeated. But the elf to whom Thistle cried was one with blonde locks and black clothing, as well as a beard, making him seem almost like a human. Then again, the elves of this strange continent were more than likely different from their counterparts overseas.
Faljere remained in the shadows: he would witness this fight, and watch their despair unravel as the banter traveled back and forth.

Kilindyl raised his brows in surprise before he spoke, calling across the large space to answer. "Wow! You could tell I was an elf from there?" Raising his hands he pulled down his black cowl and scarf, revealing his face fully. He did indeed have a beard, thick and blonde and so uncharacteristic for an elf. "Though I'm only half, actually." He smiled warmly, stepping his way closer to the two combatants. Purposefully, he toned down his graceful movements, walking more like a man than his usual glide.
"I wasn't intentionally lingering in the shadows, I just didn't want to disturb the either of you." He flicked his bright eyes over to the kinto. "It was a pleasure watching you fight. Awe inspiring indeed." He lifted a black gloved hand to scratch absent mindedly at his chin.

Bo was actually surprised the string bean could tell the dark covered figure was elf from this distance. Bo knew he was there, but could tell what or who he was. Bo noted his use of his charm. he may be a 'Halfelf' like he claimed but he had no problems using his elfish side it seems. though aside of his charm the only thing that gave his elfish side away was his ears which he could see now the cowl wasn't up.
Bo couldn't help but smile at the half elfs compliment, meeting his the elfs bright eyes with his own mis-matched gaze. one of bo's eyes was green, the other brown, normally people commented on them. which is why bo normally kept his cowl down. "aye, thank you. my elder sisters and late mother would be proud i haven't gotten my hide handed to me, yet." Bo laughed, as his defensive stance lessened slightly, still ware of the aggressive monk. however not feeling almost any hostility from the Blonde man lessened Bo's aggression slightly. the thought of fighting both of them though tantalized his mind as his smile remained. "oi,'elfish one' if you want your own demonstration, you need only ask. Depends on if String bean is done with the fight."
he looked back at the Monk with a devilish smile. it was truly fun to toy with him. his smile faded as he straightened and smelled the air. he smelt something, but couldn't put his finger on it. even though he was part animal, he specialized in brutal fighting not the senses. His strength was the key to his survival, not 'smelling' and quickly shrugged it off, could as well been food from the tavern calling out to his belly and coin.

"Elves have a certain... Smugness about them that makes them quite easy to distinguish." Thistle replied, gracefully accepting his opponent's truce. "Besides, I've had plenty of dealings with your kind, and more often than not they end with arrows headed in my general direction." He grinned, showing that he meant no insult. "I learned to spot elves rather quickly, in the interest of saving my own hide."
"You were a good opponent, and I respect your prowess." Extending his hand, he continued "The name is Thistle Wulfsbane, Marshal of the Rosewood Basilica. You are...?"

From the shadows, Faljere continued watching the events in the arena unfurl; that is, until hearing a comment made by his 'favourite' monk, Thistle, about elves. Were they so easy to distinguish, after all? Faljere pondered back to all the other elves he'd encountered who might share this trait...
His mind wandered as he thought, bringing back the faces of old allies and enemies. Most of them elves, of course, seeing as he grew up in the Elven Nation. His old friend, the Prime Minister Lord Ellarhir Taur-Ieilis, for one, who always spoke in a voice reminiscent of the stuck-up High Elves, despite his Wood Elf background. There was Sarea Riel Dirao, whose smugness came from her bard attitude (that one at least had an explanation), and there were all of the High Elves that at one point ran the Nation, who sneered at everything that wasn't as fair as them.
Then there was another face. Brought on by the High Elves in its first time, at least its first time finding Faljere, concealed by shadows and a hood...but the face wasn't human, or at least it didn't seem to be. Rather, it was the face of a raven, it's black beak pointing towards him and its menacing, slit-like eyes peering into his soul.
In fear, Faljere drew his blade with a grunt, and the face disappeared. The elf looked around, his claymore-sized weapon out of its sheath and pointed towards the fighters in the arena. Anxious of what might happen, he stepped back into the shadows, but already they'd receded more than before.
As long as they don't see me... he supposed, slowly placing his weapon back in its sheath.

"Smug you say?" he snorted. "I suppose that's true. I'll have to pay attention to my demeanor in the future so I'm not so easily recognized." He grinned. "And I have no intention of aiming any arrows at you. I'm not even armed with my bow." He raised his arms as if to showcase this. In fact, at a glance he wasn't armed at all. But with further inspection, two black gleaming hilts of daggers could been seen, sheathed at the small of his back.
At the kinto's words, he shook his head, brows raised in surprise. "Oh no. I'm not one for sparring. I was intent just watching the two of you. I'd be no match for the either of you anyway." It was a lie, of course. He would probably be an even match for the monk. And in head on combat with the kinto he could probably finish the job sooner or later. But he indeed wasn't one for sparing or lengthy combat, not that he couldn't but....When his blades fell, he preferred they fell only once.
Wondering if the two would continue or if he should just move on back to the tavern, he watched at the monk introduced himself to his opponent. Thistle, hm?

Bo looks at thistles hand then back at him. He smirked, he liked him as an sparing partner. He meet his hand with the same gesture "and I am Bo, I enjoyed sparing with you. It's nice to see someone this skilled this far north." He looked back to the elf, noticing his silver tongue. An assassin with custom armour wasn't something to show off unless it was something to show off. Never the less the elf probably just didn't wish to spar.
"I heard you bring up a tavern elfling, if this Thistle is done with his sparring, perhaps we could grab some ale? You look friendly enough company." Bo looked back at thistle. "Oi do you wish to continue now or another day monk" Bo said with a smile. For an aggressive string bean he was talents.

In the distance Franklyn noticed an arena as he walks towards it as he adjusts his hood as he walks foward.
He notices a couple of fighters there and is intread about the combatants as he walks more towards the arena.
"Daily trainning is important to a honurable warrior of truth and virture as he takes to the warm up area and sits there and takes a moument to strech out and then prey.
He is anxious to see who will be his oppodiant will be.

from a little further Ryo had been training on his own as he usually preferred to do, the others didn't interest him at all whatsoever. Still shrouded behind his hood he practiced his manoeuvres with his daggers as he always loved to do, the arrival of the man with his two axes had caught his interest, he seemed like a very good opponent yet still he didn't budge from his training

Ryo slightly turned towards Wulfric, taken aback by the friendliness of the man he couldn't help but look at him, not much of a talker himself he made an effort to be kind in return:
"Thank you..my blades are made with a rare metal that can be found on other plains, which? I do not know...they were a gift from a boss of mine. As for an invitation to spar...well why not? I guess you could say I am indeed new here."
Ryo faced the gentlemen completely but his red eyes glowed under the shadow of his hood, and his devil like smile could most likely be seen from a good mile away, he adjusted his black leather armor and sheathed his weapons.
"So ho do you want to do this?"

A soft chuckle from Ryo's mouth escaped, someone who seemed to at last share a same mind that he does. Perhaps this man could be a great ally to him?
"I like the idea of first blood, but perhaps let's go with a simple knock out hmm? Wouldn't want to get carried away if I used my weapons."
Ryo placed his weapons near a bench before returning to Wulfric, once before him he focused is energy and aura into a form of intimidation along with letting his family heirloom roam through his veins. His smile widened as he got in battle position.
"Ready...whenever you are mate."
