A sly smile spread across Drethiel's face. "Good. Cooperation is best for both of us right now." He too sat down then, and the ice on his hands melted rapidly. Sitting cross-legged, with his wings folded back, he closed his eyes and moved his right hand in a large arch formation. With that, a dome fabricated of ice and snow formed over them. It wasn't too small as to make Miara feel trapped, but it wasn't so roomy that it took up too much space. "I value my privacy when I talk about business and personal matters." He said. If Ashen were to come back - which he hoped she didn't - she could easily break through, as anyone else could. His powers weren't so strong as to hide them completely, but he figured this was better than being in the open, vulnerable to arrows and the like.
Opening his eyes again, his gaze softened only a little. "Remove your hand from your blade. I have no weapons on my person, nor do I intend on hurting you further. I'm not willing to spill any blood today." Though he was still wary of her, he did admire her attire. Her skirts spread beautifully, and he had to admit she was attractive... from her flowing hair, to the mysterious yet graceful expression she held. There was no question that most humans would find her alluring... and that was a wonderful asset to have. "So, Miara the Angel of Chaos. That's a hefty title you carry. Unfortunately, I cannot boast of my own... I have no title. My rank within the angels above is nonexistent." His smile tightened. "They demoted me long ago. I used to assist souls in their journey to the afterlife, you see. However, I won't go into detail of how I got here now."
"But to answer your question: corrupting souls is my specialty. Human souls only. That's what my powers are limited to. You see, I felt so empty when I was no longer doing my job with the others..." He continued. "I had no place taking the souls to the afterlife anymore. Technically, I no longer even had access to the angelic plane, nor the afterlife itself..." That's right. I'm stuck here. "So I began to improvise." He searched Miara's eyes for a reaction, hoping she could see where he was going with his explanation.
"I turn humans into sinners - I taint their souls in a controlled manner, to create work for myself. After they're as hopeless and rotten as I see fit, I extract them from their host bodies, purify them, and then keep them to myself..." He crossed his arms over his chest, one hand on each of his shoulders. "They reside inside me. My heart no longer beats, but instead, they are my pulse. Filling the void in my being with pure and clean light gives me a euphoria like nothing else." With the last sentence, he had a slight giddiness to his voice. "You take joy in corrupting others. You revel in chaos. So long as you target as many humans as you can, and let me reap the benefits of such madness, we could have a working trade-off. Miss Darkrose, what are your thoughts on this proposal?" He folded his hand in his lap and waited patiently for her response.

Sneaking up to where the angels happened to be. she looked at a dome that at was now in place of the angels she felt a sence of doom...maybe she should run again... maybe the white garbed angel needed help, mind you if he was an angel was far more powerful then her, it was worth a look. just look and go

her eyes glanced at the dome of ice around them, Drethiel's powers were interesting enough. so, his plan was to corrupt human souls and then take them for himself. hmmm. she really didn't care what happened to this land so maybe she could accept his proposal. Zu would have a fit... that would be fun.
removing her hand from her weapon she locked her eyes with the icy blue ones across from her. "besides the chaos that would be caused by this what else would i gain?" her eyes narrowed and her voice took on an almost sultry tone. "the trade-off does seem interesting though, but i can't guarantee that i will cause chaos to mostly humans. Wildgard seems to have few humans compared to the other races."
a grin spread across her face. "that's too bad you were demoted," she voice kept the same tone, her grin getting wider. "i wonder why they demoted you though? though it is comforting to know that i am not the only one bound here. Though I chose my fall."
she flipped her hair over her shoulder thesettle on her back, placing her hands on her lap, waiting for Drethiel's reaction.

Smiling as she let go of her weapon, he continued talking. "Interesting is far better than a flat disapproval." For a moment, he thought he heard footsteps outside, but he brushed it off. The stare-down was intense, but somehow her eyes, as cold as his, gave him a sense of comfort. A sense of familiarity. "To be quite frank, Miara, there aren't many humans in Wildgard that I've seen to date. This makes your job quite easy. So as long as you agree to take priority on humans, I'll let you do as you please with the rest. You may think that I may sound quite demanding, especially for an individual who has no rank and all, but..." He did not talk further about his time with the other angels. Nor did he want to bother to fathom why she chose to fall. If he had a choice, he never would have. "...there is something else you should also know."
He took a deep, cleansing breath of the cold winter air. "Have you ever heard of the Valkyrie?"

Ashen got closer but sticking to the brush, she was staying quiet, trying to see it hear anything going on inside the ice dome, which was province rather difficult. "The hell are they doing in there" she mutter quietly to herself.

"valkyrie?" she asked questioningly. something was teasing the back of her senses. this damned ice globe was blocking whatever it was out though.
Drethiels face looked serious, so she knew that this information was important.

"Yes," Drethiel stated grimly. "Valkyrie. There's one in Wildgard that you need to be wary of. She attempted to punish me for my doings, so I was forced to ditch my physical body in order to outrun her." He leaned forward and lowered his voice. "She deems me a menace, and there is no doubt she will also do the same for you. I always have my eye out for her, and I am constantly trying to keep up with her whereabouts. Should you decide to team up with me, we can keep each other informed. If she tries to take one of us out, we can band together and try to stop her. How does that sound?" His eye contact was stern, hoping it would add to the point he was trying to make. "Her name is Valourie, and I'm not yet sure of why she's here. Her lips are stitched together as if under a curse, and her hair is flaming red and yellow. She wears a red cloak, and she has a mask she wears." He spoke through his teeth, not happy about revisiting his memories of her.
"She'll soon know who you are, just give it time. So Miara, your help would be much appreciated. I think we can make this work out for the both of us. What do you say?" He held out his hand, palm up, and waited calmly for her answer.

Miara thought for a moment. She was interested in teaming up with this angel, yet if he was already being watched by this Valkyrie her plans would be found out much sooner then she planned.
She kept her face calm. Like that of a lake on a windless night. She weighed the benefits and the downsides to becoming allies with this man.
While lost in thought her fingers trailed in the snow, forming words of a language long forgotten in these realms. They were the words of a lullaby from her childhood, from before she became what she was.
The moment she noticed the words in the snow she swept her hand through them, obscuring the words. She wished to never remember those days.
Looking back at drethiel she sighed. This was not an easy choice.
"If I become your ally I do not wish to have a Valkyrie breathing down my neck and trying to roast me like a chicken." She locked her gaze with his. "I will keep you informed of what I may come across, I hope you do the same for me, but, should the Valkyrie come asking about you and threaten even one feather of my wings I will not cover for you completely. I will not speak of your plan. I will pretend to know nothing of it, but I will tell her where I last saw you. You may do the same should she ask of me. Though I am trying to keep my existence hidden."
She hoped that he understood her terms, she had not survived this long to be done in now, not when she had found the perfect place to play her games.

Ashen felt very uneasy hiding in the brush near the ice bubble, she kept her bow ready but remained hidden as best she could. Trying to angle herself to see if any figures could be Indicated. No such luck. She looked up and noticed the tree towered thick and tall.
A slight smirk appeared in her face as she withdrew her weapons and climbed quietly, sitting upon the taller branches she looked down at the bubble drawing her bow and arrow once more.
She began to prepare herself, if she saw her. Shot, if she doesn't see me, stay quiet. Her brow frowned, she remembered what Maira could do to her, could make her see a loved one call in front of her eyes.
She would be forced to go after an illusion and though a feline, with the height she now had...it wouldn't be pretty falling down. Quietly she took her belts and tied herself to the tree. Least this would reduce the chances... She thought
She began to prepare herself again, bow ready eyes watching the bubble for any movement

Drethiel narrowed his eyes at Miara. "I see. So be it, then." Sticking around here any longer was a bad idea. If he didn't have her full cooperation, he may as well not have hers at all. But he supposed that beggars couldn't be choosers in this case. "I may as well forget I ever met you, then. It would be better for us both if we play oblivious to each other's existences. I am neutral to your decisions unless it gets in the way of my business. I assume the same is for you." He returned his hand to his lap, and closed his eyes. In an instant, the ice dome shattered, and he got up onto his feet. Dreth blinked, and then looked up into the trees above. There was the kinto, with her bow drawn, ready to fire. Drat. Good thing I shut up before I tore this thing down.
He called up to her, and crossed his arms. "And just what are you doing back here? Lingering here will just get you into trouble. I told you to go somewhere safe!" He drew a look of concerned frustration upon his face and jumped up to her with a flap of his wings so that he was eye level with her. "Compared to her, I'm a weakling. I'll be doing no saving today. Shoot all you want, but I cannot promise a positive outcome for you. Save your arrow for a prey more worthy." With that, he flew off.
That could have gone a hell of a lot better. He scowled to himself. I just can't shake that Valkyrie from my mind... everywhere I go, my eyes are scanning for her. Everyone I talk to, I question about her. There has to be something I can do... Dreth pondered as he flew away, heading north.

When the dome disappeared miara could sense that her little Kintu "friend" was close by. She temporarily ignored it though and nodded silently to drethiel before he spread his wings and flew away.
Slowly, very slowly, she turned her head towards the Kintu, she couldn't be bothered to remember her name, and grinned. "Oh, it looks like a little kitten is stuck in the tree." Her eyes narrowed and her grin turned into a smirk. "You wouldn't shoot that arrow at your friend would you?"
While miara spoke she wove the illusion around her, this illusion made her look like a very close friend to whoever it was used on. She loved her powers.

Ashen sat now ready to shot, she didn't even bother looking to where the ice angel went. Her eyes, filled with horror where looked in the one who smelled like death, destruction, and discord. Shacking her, she readied to release her arrow ignoring the words of this..woman. 'Shoot her now! This is your chance to end every-' she blinked, the woman was gone, but Fallen stood in her place, looking up at her. Why the hell was fallen there??? Normally she messed with illusions of the ones she cared deeply for, Allynn was in a death coma, luxley and matsu where nowhere to be found, so why the hell is Fallen there?! Her whole body went tense, she held into the arrow tightly daring now to not release it. Was that really Fallen? No it had to be one of the witches illusions! She drew her back her arrow once more, 'this isn't fallen this isn't anyone I care about it's that bitch, the one who won't leave well enough alone!" She was seconds away from letting the arrow pierce the fake fallen's heart.

The illusion of the drow raised his red eyes to meet the kinto's. Betrayal and hurt flashed across them before he spoke. "You were the only one I ever trusted...." His voice mirrored the emotion in his eyes. "You were my only friend." Raising his hands, his white brows drew together. "I knew....I knew I couldn't trust anyone. There was a reason why I hide myself. Looks like i was right."

She knew it wasn't him, but his voice. His actions, his words...burned in her mind, what if...what if it was the real Fallen? She began to doubt herself, she had only just meet the man! Why on earth was she beginning to panic? Slowly her arm relaxed the arrow. Pain and shock still painted on her face. Her heart felt like..it was..breaking? No! I'm done with this. I will apologize later if it's him... She unfastened the belt around the tree and leap from branch to branch until finally she landed on the ground. No as graceful as she would liked. She looked at fallen, who face still laced with betrayal. "I'm sorry" she muttered, "I thought you where...I thought you where her, I didn't mean to,...I'm sorry." Staying back enough to be able to flee, but close enough she could go closer if needed. "I'm sorry" she said again as if raising another voice would anger even the gods above.
