The warlord let out a little scoff at his compliment, this male was irritating. She wanted to cut him down a size but she didn't want to scare him off until after he spent his usefulness. Chancing a glance at Zell, she could visibly see his face darkening even as she watched, his armor the same as hers, actually began to glow slightly red hot as his body heated in anger. Sighing, she met his eyes and deliberately strode right up to him. An idea suddenly came to her, one that might cool both males offf. Placing her free hand directly over the heated part of his armor, she met Zell's eyes. "Calm down." She spoke quietly, leaning up on her toes to kiss him. His body cooled immidiately, eyes widening in utter shock.
Moving away, D turned her back to the both of them, a sly smile crossing her face. She had no desire to be with Zell, but males were so simple.
Sitting down once more she set her gaze on Cinder. "You'll be equipped with whatever weapon you desire. I'll have my blacksmiths well forge you a weapon like mine, one this is well-forged and cannot be destroyed by regular means or be affected by most magic. Although, it will only serve you on this plane."

Cinder raised a brow to D display of affection. It was not one for a warlord to show he assumed, crossing his arms letting his head tilt to the side. a smirk grew, Zell never once completely lashed out toward Cinder because of her, but his expression gave one of lack of experience. 'it was probably a way of dealing with us. didnt know i could get the little spark going so easily' Cinder meant nothing by it, he was regretted by many before, compliments and teasing was just in his nature. When he stopped it was a sign that one should run or by the request of someone he looked up to. A display like this wasnt needed for him, though he admitted it was cute.
watching Zell with a smirk, he felt the urge to hold his laugh in his chest. Turning his gaze to D who sat back down, he kept his smirk and crossed arms as he did before. "Replacement weapons would be a wonderful help sweetheart. if something like i already have, would be even better." he spoke as if unaffected by D's actions. "if you think it best to wear armor, i will take it but something light might be best for me. i am as experienced with the field and enemies as Your General to affection it seems."
Turning his gaze to Zell, he kept his words truthful. "no offence, truly. What about you General, if i am to be assisting you what do you think? you have seen some of my abilities and you know the field more. what would you recommend if we are to be working together." Talking to Zell, Cinder's way of speaking somewhat changed. the talk of battle, gave him other focus. He could very well be a team player, he just loved to stir the pot.

D rolled her eyes at Cinders words. Obviously her tactic hadn't worked on him, but by the change in Zell's demeanor, her general had at least been pacified. He had cooled down considerably, his expression back to one of calm and stoic indifference.
"I'll leave the decision up to you. One of the guards at the door can direct you to speak with my blacksmiths." The warlord spoke, voice exasperated.
"You know your skills better than anyone." Zell spoke, the anger in his seemingly gone. Whatever it was in him that had been confrontational with the other male had dissipated after D's sign of affection. It meant that he had nothing to worry about. "But if you're fighting the front I suggest you wear armor. No one is fast enough to dodge an entire army full of unpredictable and volatile powers." He crossed his arms over his chest.

"noted, hope i can find something light then. i assume you'll be briefing me then? how much time do i have to prepare before we move?" Cinders eyes shifted between the Warlord and her General. if he truly was going to be an asset and earn his keep, he needed some direction.
knowing now her blacksmiths would be able to craft him something, perhaps even armour that would suit his needs. he was more of 'one hit knock out' type of fighter, waiting until the right time to strike. however if forced enough, he could brawl with anyone. a thousand years did give him the time he needed to learn the ways of his blades. he closed his eyes for a moment as memories of fights pasted rushed to his minds eyes. he was getting his itch to fight once more, it would be something to past the years by. instead of living them in a boring corner of the plane.

"I'll have you meet with my backsmiths as soon as possible. It will take a day for them to design and craft whatever it is that will suit your battle style." D stood then, a move that was more in finality than one of boredom. Turning to Zell, she nodded. "You're dismissed General."
Bowing, the golden demon took a step back. Glancing at Cinder, he then turned on his heel and walked away, steel boots clacking loudly on the marble floors.
"I will be notified as soon as preperations are completed and will give you a final debriefing then." She raised her head to look down her nose at him. "For now you're dismissed." She almost took a step but stopped, turning her gaze to him once more. "One final thing. If I find you you've been causing trouble, particularly with Zell, we're going to have an issue." It was so rare to see her general become so unsettled. He was normally so well put together and stoic, even around Thistle. Cinder was one of the few people able to rile him up.

Cinder smiled to her warning. "I may ruffle feathers, but that's purely the intent. now that i know which side i fight for, i promise you my blade will only be risen to defend your precious general sweetie. I like to tease, but thats all i am. I wont get him, to heated next time, i know my limits now. After all i need to work with him now, i dont want a blade in my back after all."
his word filled with truth, he truly didnt intend to fight anyone on his side. "lifes to short to start fights with allys. its all for fun nothing more, dont worry your pretty head about me." Cinder winked at the end of his statement, turning to take his leave from her. "but, as you command, my lord." bowing his head, it was the first respectful gesture he did to anyone in years. turning on his heel, he began to walk towards the exit.
