With beady eyes, Joy watched the Angel disrupt the Tavern and send a few dozen living out into the cold with no other place to go. Narrowing her eyes, se fretted over the people that filed out the door. She hoped that both celestials would be leaving the Tavern shortly so that everyone could return to teh warmth and shelter of te building. To herself, though not exactly quietly enough to be entirely unheard, she muttered, "The living shouldn't be disrupted like this." Internally, she cursed herself for getting involved with this mess. The lonely spirit was entirely dedicated to helping lost souls and trying to keep them separate from the world of the living. "This is such a mess..." she hissed in frustration.
With a harsh snicker, she spoke up in return to the angelic spirit. "Neither of us 'run' really. And I certainly wont run from either of you." Though, she was merely bluffing, and nervously considered what could happen if the Valkyrie caught up with her. She was terrified at the thought, unsure of her purpose, or her future, with how she was bound to the bardshrine. Looking over at the blazing red woman, she wished desperately to command answers of her. To ask about everything. To ask why. But at the same time, the fear of getting her answers was always heavy on her. Instead, she returned her attention to the male, startled to find him about to leap away.
'Not so fast. I certainly have business with you.' she grumbled angrily. Releasing her compressed form, she returned to to form of a skirit, and leaped into the air a second after him. Just as he was disappearing into the ceiling, she caught hold of his ankle, and concentrated on digging her claws into it and pulling him backwards. He was stronger than her, that was for sure, so she appeared out of the roof behind him. However, she was certainly capable of slowing him down, and making his escape a lot more difficult. Joy tried to pull herself back over to the insubstantial plane, and while her presence seemed to flicker and fade, she kept latched on and tried to pull him with her. But she couldn't do it as easily as she usual, with newly dead souls. It was exactly what she had been afraid of. But she didn't give up, and instead closed her eyes and poured all the energy she had into dragging the other soul with her. Though she knew it would only work if he relented and willingly came with her...
