"and what exactly do you plan on doing about that? i can not help you and im sure most will just let you die, it does after all open up a new spot for some power hungry tool" harkat rolled his eyes, not really knowing what to do.
"the only cure i can think of is dying... but not here, but on the human plane. see our souls work differently there we can die as much as we need, as long as you have a direct channel to this plane we can not die... practically immortal" harkat smirked remembering his time on the human plane, he doesn't plan on going back for a while take his time and reserve his power for when he is needed.

The general scoffed. "You're still trying to buy me into your little endeavor?" He stopped walking and crossed his armor clad arms. "You say we can't die so easily. Then what happened to Destael?" He turned to look at the floating demon, golden eye piercing.
"I am not going to risk my life in a war that I will not get anything out of." Turning away again, he continued walking. "I was poisoned by the white light of the human plane, why in this world or the next would I want to go there?" It was the human world that brought the white light onto his plane, he didn't want anything to do with it. Especially if it's inhabitants seemed to be able to so easily use it. "There are ways of combating it by my own accord."

"destael was weak, she cared for human plane. THAT was her downfall, she let her emotions get the better of her... besides she isn't exactly "dead" so to speak" harkat smirked with a crooked smile flashing his fangs. "if you do not believe me, ask starfire" harkat winked at the general hoping that his curiosity would get the better of him. harkat floated around the general now laying with his back facing the ground
"so i must ask which one got the better of you? was it that dwarf? or maybe on of the animal things that can talk?" harkat hoped it wasn't thistle he HATED him... a lot.

Not dead?? The general eyed the other demon suspiciously. Ask Starfire, no, he thought not. "I want nothing more to do with that little girl. She dared to attack me for no determinable reason. Not to mention that the human she brought here tried to kill me. If he was even human, he had power greater than I expected."
Walking, hands clasped behind his back, Zell thought back. "I never did catch a name. He was thin, blue cape...Just as fast as a demon, fought with a glaive. I would have liked to finish our battle. It's a pity he'd dead."

"strange isn't it? how Halizar keeps his little playthings, i don't blame you for not wanting anything to do with her. most don't" Harkat laughed, floating along side the demon general. It was time to reel in the general, make him WANT to come to the human plane, to either prove Harkat wrong or to embrace the truth.
"see Destael might as well be dead, she is powerless, hopeless... human" Harkat scoffed, he continued to float along side the general not caring about the other demons all of them knew better than to raise an eye at either Zell or himself, even though harkat didn't really know how it happened he knew it was true, after all he did see her with his own eyes.
"i can get the creatures of the human plane to help us, after we are done with them you can dispose of them. after thats done, the plane will belong to halizar or whoever" harkat smiled at the thought of ruling the human plane.

The general stopped dead in his tracks at the words. Human? But....How? His thoughts whirred. Balthezar....it must have been Balthezar and his incessant toying with wells power to figure out how to make that change.
Letting out a sigh, Zell continued walking, pinching the bridge of his nose as if he had a headache (which he did). "Even if it is true, and I'm inclined to believe you, it still means nothing to me." Destael, although he disagreed with many of his...her decisions, was an honorable and powerful warlord. But now that she was off the throne, it was of no consequence to him what she was or did. "I serve the current warlord. That is my job and my purpose."
Zell's brow twitched in frustration. "I don't have the people, time, or energy to spare vying for another plane when our own in in jeopardy. And falter in the front and Balthezar will break though, do you understand? If that happens what good will a little powerless plane do us?"
He scoffed "Not all of us have the same morbid curiosity with the humans as you seem to. If my lord wanted it to begin with, why is he here and not there?"

"why would the warlord put himself in danger? why not stand behind your army and let them deal with the dying" harkat scoffed, harkat didnt like halizar anymore than he liked destael. but power is everything on this plane, and halizar had it. harkat smirked at the thought of killing more humans, he did find them interesting, odd, different.
"i will admit, i do love killing humans. but i mean who doesn't?" harkat giggled enjoying his talk with the general.

The general rolled his eyes, sighing in exasperation. "You're completely ignoring my logic and reason." This man was single minded, and the Zell wasn't sure if it was because he was actually dim witted or that he was still trying to convince him to join his little war on the human plane.
Zell glanced over to Harkat, fire literally flickering in his eye. "You just made a good point, who doesn't love killing."
Looking away, he continued. "As for me.... my power is beyond your average demons and most certainly your average human." With the exception of the man he just fought in the throne room. "I want a challenge. I want an honorable battle with some semblance of fair play. It's one of the reasons I often find myself fighting on the front, either to find someone strong enough to pose a challenge, or to fight multiple opponents."
